I dont know the answers for you.. but... as for the part ive bolded.. I think she was going to have to move out because she couldnt live there anymore.. they would want to know where caylee was and Im afraid she was no longer gonna be alive

Yes, that is exactly where I was coming from too.I would like to thank Baez for exposing the foolproof suffocation search. It certainly helped me connect the dots on Caylees time of death & exactly who did it. Caylee IMO was killed right after she read that site. Had I been a juror I would have convicted her on that alone. It is very telling.

Who makes the call what category a book is: fiction, non fiction etc?
Jeff Ashton's book is ranked in the "True Crime" category but JB's isn't. Maybe it's too far down on the list or does anyone know if it ever was in this category?

Well JA's is a legitimate "True Crime" book. I don't know if there is an "Untrue Crime and Fake Accident" category but that would seem more suitable.

The verdict was a total fluke. Baez got lucky with it.

As far as the initial attacks on George, I have to wonder who told Baez to clam up on his lascivious claims.

Would he take the threat of a lawsuit from Lippman seriously? Did GR give him a heads-up that bad things could happen to him if he continued?

Personally, If I were GA, I'd demand a public apology from JB. I don't love any member of that wacky family, but enough is enough.

The verdict is a year old now, and Baez is still defending his client to the public. It's not working, with the exception of the few Casey-lovers and Baez' friends, family, and other hangers-on. Even with that, it's not working.

Yes, he sold any number of books. However, I doubt Baez got much or anything for his writing efforts as dictated to Golenbock. Publishing hard-cover books is expensive. Considering that in pre-order, the price was already lowered 40%, that's only money out of his pocket.

He'll be lucky if all his time and effort amounts to maybe a house payment or two.

But, aside from World Famous Attorney, he will be able to add "Best Selling Author" to his brag book on his website!

Why did we never hear about the "foolproof suffocation" searches in the doc dumps and the trial?

I was just amazed when I heard Baez say this at trial. Basically what he is saying is that you don't have to be a doctor to know that a two-year-old found in the woods double bagged with Duct tape around the skill was MURDERED. There are just not enough adjectives to describe his ineptitude.

I posted on this yesterday I think. He states in the book that had the state not made the 31 days the "crux" of their case, there literally would have been no defense for FCA. If the state had started the case from the time she was arrested up until the time the body had been found, the only thing out there was the ZFG kidnapping story. Then the find of the body around the corner from the house.
BUT, JB says that because so much focus was put on the 31 days as "guilty behavior" they had to find a way to deflect that. Voila, molestation.
But he is crazy as crap, because the time leading up to her arrest is the time frame in which Caylee was MISSING (i.e. dead). He is such an idiot.

I do not understand how anyone can say this is a great book, an excellent book??? I only read the first two chapters, I thought it was horribly written! It was very hard to read. I would rather listen to my three year old Great granddaughter tell me a stoy of her day then read this book! I'm sure we have all listened to a young child tell stories, I enjoy listening to a story told by a very young child, they're are funny, they're excited, very sweet! But this book written by a grown man, a professional???? Horrible read! I think anyway!!

I have heard a couple of times about Baez stating in his book that the duct tape was probably used to secure the plastic bags containing Caylee's body... just like they buried their dogs. To anyone who has read the book, is this true and if so can you post that paragraph? I just can't bring myself to read the book in any form, for any price.

Baez has narrowed down the timeline...

Looking back at the June 16th, 2008 Ping map we know OCA did not leave the area of her parents home and with this new revelation from Baez she IMO did not leave the home at all.

The A's were in cover up mode to protect OCA so it is not a big leap to theorize George was either lying or mis-remembering the events of that day.

But let me give Baez the benefit of the doubt and say that IF this newest revelation is true, it demonstrates that after Caylee died George was so distraught over her death that within a few hours he wanted to kill himself but Casey, who claims Caylee was her greatest accomplishment and loved her so much, decided to go and be with her new boyfriend, go out and rent movies to watch, have sex and sleep in the next day and continue having "fun" with her boyfriend and her new life.

My guess is that, because GA swore that Casey left at 12:50pm, the State could not prove that she was home at 1:44pm when the search was done, so they did not bring it up. They could not show GA was wrong or a liar or it would hurt the credibility of his other testimony. Most likely GA was wrong or lied about what time Casey left the house.
