There was the case of Susan Walters, who was able to successfully fight off (and kill!) the hitman her husband had hired. Interestingly, it parallels the Sievers case in that his weapon of choice was also a hammer. She was able to fight him off by getting control of the hammer and then strangling him. If only Teresa's outcome had been the same... of course, with two men against a woman her size (cowards!), it was a lost cause from the beginning. [emoji35]

A quote I love from Ms. Walters: "If I ever believed you deserved to be dead, I would at least have had the balls to kill you myself."

i also remember a case years ago where this guy had a hit man kill his wife, used her $ for his highbrow defense. he was acquitted because he said the hit man (his BFF) was nuts and must have been jealous of him. The jury afterwards said they knew the husband ordered the hit but there but just not enough proof.

Several years later, the reporters tracked him down at his beautiful new home in Mexico while his gorgeous young new wife held their infant and the slain woman's kids were splashing in the pool. He's loaded now that with the acquittal, it forced life insurance co's to pay up. Sorry WS's but i'm starting to get discouraged.

I remember watching this on 'I Survived', I think that's the name.

Ms Walters is one heck of an awesome & inspiring woman.
Don't mess with her.

It took more than three years to arrest Jason Young and another 2+ after that to get a murder conviction. I'm not close to losing hope. Slow but steady wins the race.

I just heard Lisa Spooner on NBC-2 say they have more documents!

Nbc-2.com is reporting the same thing. I'm hoping there are more than just videos being released. I'm hoping to see some texts or even forensic results that pull it all together. Maybe something that points directly to a motive. I'm hoping we are not simply going to be shown video of their travels, I'm pretty sure we got that part figured out. Throw us something new we can work on pretty please!!!

Just wanted to update all you wonderful, patient people! xoxo

p.s. Counting on y'all to spread the word until I can get back home.

Do we know what's in them?

No, no clue. They finally did it the easy way and loaded them onto cd's. That will speed things up for all of us bc NIN won't have to scan in thousands of pages.

Outta here for now. See y'all later this evening. :cheer:
