It means that the police are doing their jobs and following any credible leads in spite of the Anthonys statements to the contrary.

Bingo!! Just doing their job following up that's all.. I'm sure the DNA evidence they have is all the way at the top amongst very tight lipped officers, which is why there haven't been any recent LE leaks.

That was my first thought when I read the same article earlier today. If LE is so certain that Caylee is deceased, why send 5 officers out to investigate this tip? It tells me that their case isn't as strong as we've been led to believe. Very worrisome.

So LE followed up on a tip that someone saw Caylee.........wouldn't that mean that they don't have enough evidence to prove that she is deceased? If they had evidence that she was not alive, why would they have bothered to check out this little girl and make the parents show proof that it was not Caylee? And this was not a sighting in another state, it was an hour from the Anthony's home.

Ooo this is a good question. If they were positive Caylee is deceased, why would they take such a drastic step and do it in such "rambo" style?

okay to me this is HUGE, Yes if they found Caylee and were certain she is dead why would they do that????????? What about the death ring and decomp?????????????? my head is spinning I thought for certain Caylee was dead!

They must follow every lead, just in case there's a 1% possibility that Caylee is alive. Esp since this child's name was Kaylee.

But it is bizarre that LE stormed the house when LE stated they believed she was dead.

It's possible that Volusia County Dispatch got a call with a tip and they automatically dispatched the 5 officers without consulting Orange County.
Maybe until she's declared officially dead they must respond.

That seems extremely plausible. It makes sense unlike most every thing else about this case.

This is very true and I would imagine until it is officially announced they would have a legal obligation to investigate as well. Plus who wouldnt want to be the department to find a missing child of this calibur. They probably jumped on it like nobody's business.

Not worrisome in the slightest. They don't have a body. All signs point to a dead Caylee, but until there's a body, wouldn't it be neglect not to follow up on every single lead? It doesn't make the evidence any less compelling, just shows that even in the face of such strong evidence they're willing to exhaust every possibility. Not even law enforcement want to find a dead Caylee if there's a shred of hope she is alive.

I dont know guys, I don't think so. They probably already have actions in place, and I dont know, but can find out tomorrow, if they call OC first.

She did wipe her nose--all over her face! I enlarged the pic and couldn't believe what I could see in her nose. Why did the parents choose to provide that picture?
By the way, I think she looks a whole lot older than Caylee Anthony. Any one know how old the "kaylee" with a "K" girl is?

I just watched the news and the parents of the other Kalee said they are now going to start calling her by her middle name when they're out in public to avoid confusion.

PS: also it was Volusia County that went out to check on the tip not Orlando.

It seems like calling the girl by her middle name when she's out in public would create confusion at her age :waitasec: I can see why they'd do it though.
