With the ODCR records for Okfuskee updated recently, it shows that DD will be undergoing a jury trial for second degree burglary in March 2009. There are no accompanying charges which suggests to me:

1. There was no weapon involved during that crime.
2. There were no threats in any way to any other party during that crime.
3. There was no larceny (or attempted).

A newspaper article said that there was breaking and entering into a home but nothing more. Keeping DD into jail for so long (and even until March), for such a relatively minor charge (while he is technically a first offender), suggests to me that LE has a very particular focus here.

I agree with you. Do you think he is being held until he "cracks"?

Matilda, I was also thinking along this line. Maybe he's in there for his own safety. Maybe someone was chasing him with guns, like they did MG.

I'm thinking that is extremely unlikely. It's like the estranged husband of Jennifer Hudson's sister. He is behind bars on a technicality right now. But we all know the real reason he's there. He is a POI in the case of the murders of her mother, brother and nephew. Or should I say numero uno suspect??

Hi RPS! I don't know if he would have anyone to bail him out. I understood his family had a restraining order against him, because he had threatened them.

The family did have a restraining order out against him. However, when all this happened, his Mom made the statement that she had filed the RO to "teach him a lesson". (I can not remember the exact words). I also know the RO has a time limit on it. I am not sure what the termination date on the RO was. Anyway, I also thought it was strange he had not been bailed out. Was bail even available to him? If so, does anyone know what the amount of the bail was?

Neither do I TG. The last word was that they were at WalMart just before the murders, not the casino. You may have read that they have been spotted quite frequently at the casino in recent weeks, but definitely not on the day of the murders.

I must have read that at topix awhile back....sorry guys !! I won't go back to topix and ask because I am offended by most people who post there.The reason I was asking was because it might help determine what route the Plackers would have taken to drive home that day and/or what direction they approached their driveway from when they arrived home.
If they came home directly from Walmart(I'm assuming the Henryetta Walmart),they would have traveled south,going under the I-40 overpass,if I'm correct so far,then that would mean they would have had to drive right past the girls's bodies before getting to their driveway(the girl's bodies were found on the west side from the house OR right side from the house).

K4kathy...It was 'mentioned' the P's were at WalMart shopping, before the murders...
We have yet to see a 'tape' of P & V. shopping at Wal mart on that Sunday. Hmmm!

IF they had gone to Wal Mart they would have taken the girls. imo!

Being at the Casino that Sunday does make a lot of sense, since the P. ran right back to the casino shortly after the murders and been there frequently ever since,
while they grieve.

We have been misled on most everything in this case, so it wouldn't surprise me IF they wasn't shopping and playing cards at the casino instead.

Holding a good hand of Cards with big $$ bucks at stake and having to leave the game to go look for 2 girls would make someone very mad,
possibly in a rage by the time he found them...:steamed:.. snapping when T. started 'talking back',...

I don't remember hearing any mental condition/problems, evaluations of anyone connected with this case...so one guess is as good as the other for now..

Very interesting observations, Letsthink. When my kids were the ages of these girls, there was no way they'd ever let me go to Wal-Mart without them. I recently retired early from teaching 5th grade and Wal-Mart is where they all go to run into their buddies. On any given Sunday I'd run into about half my class there. LOL

Yes, and you have to remember them being at wal-mart was a RUMOR...and as far as I'm concerned was never verified. This tread relies way to much on rumor, and hear say, and the opinions of loco locals. Golden Pony the closest casino does not have card games!!

Unless I missed something, I dont think it was ever mentioned on here that Plackers may have been at Walmart. Now in topix, anything is possible and I dont believe much of anything that is said there. After something really sick that was said about Jesus, I have not even been back in there to read. I feel like it is the devils den! JMPO but it gives me a bad feeling to open that on my computer in my home. Some of those people in there say the most horrible things!

As I recall, no one even knew if the Plackers were home or gone that afternoon. There was question about this, and I believe even mention that they may not have been home, although at the beginning we all believed they were, and wondered how they didnt hear the shots. Then it was said, after the 911 call, that maybe Peter was home, but maybe Vickie was gone, possibly working. It was also questioned as to who may have been at the house. Were there others, or just the girls? I'm not sure anyone knows but them and LE. To my recollection, we never got any real answers to this. If it has been proven where they were, and mentioned on one of these threads, I would be more than glad to admit if I am wrong.
I dont believe that LE has released any information as to who was where that day, and if there was any other family members at the Placker home. I believe it was mentioned that Rose had gone to Walmart, but she is the mother of Skyla, and not a Placker. I believe someone who knew her said she said she went to Walmart before she was coming to pick Skyla up, as they were getting ready to have a barbeque at their house.
As far as casinos go... I am not under the belief that Plackers frequented any casinos prior to the murders. I was under the understanding that they had a really tight financial situation. This is what Uncle Joe Mosely had stated to news media, and didnt he even mention that they didnt have money for proper burial?
And the casino they go to these days, to my understanding does not have any card games. I dont believe the next closest casino in Okemah does either.
I wish LE would release the information as to the whereabouts of this family that day. It would make things easier to try to figure out. Or would it?

Even though the LE is aware of the whereabouts of the Plackers that day they're under no obligation to release that information to the Public as the Plackers have not implicated in any way.
