Notice I left "much" open to interpretation. ;)

It's infinitely more fun when they are shocked and surprised.

:angel2:

In order to keep me from being flogged by our dear J Bean for being way off topic; I do wonder how the defense is going to try and assert that Caylee's death wasn't intentional? It won't take an Aeronautic Engineer to be able to add Casey's computer searches on murder and home baked weaponry last March, to Caylee's disappearance in June and her subsequently discovered skletonized corpse, double bagged like trash.

Also, is it just me or has anyone else wondered why in the name of Batman's Protective Undergarments she Googled the word "SHOVEL"?!?

Who does that?!? It's safe to assume she knew what one was, even if she had never actually dared to get sweaty using one in the past. So what did she think would magically happen when she typed that one little noun?
:waitasec:

Sadly, thoughts like these are what gallop through my mind at 3 a.m. :bang:

I'm not too convinced on the computer searches being able to be used as solid proof of premeditation. Maybe the chloroform search, but I do understand how defense can use that to lay ground work for accidental death theory. Both sides of the courtroom are going to be able to link this to evidence, so on that one, I have to see it play out.

That is a bloodline to be proud of. Explains the cussedness.

I'd like to believe that juries nowadays are beyond falling for the Sunday School sweetness ploy, but if that is what leads to a verdict that is not unanimous, society's in much, much bigger trouble than we thought.

I mean, if someone comes up with an 'orange' based on the evidence, I'll have to choke down the bile and accept that (not likely too gracefully, mind you.) But, if they come up with 'orange' based on a navy blue sailor pinafore dress and frilly-bottomed little girl panties... well...

Can I use my fangs?

Could be a shocker. I'm sure every ploy will be used. Behavior & appearance consultant, jury consultant - all to go along with the experts they already have. This alone boggles the mind. Are they trying to protect the Law. Protect the science or what. Very unusual isn't it? Unanimous may be hard on such a young person anyway. So hard to tell. It only takes 1 to differ and thats it - so to speak. I assume the prosecution will be ready for that.

YES!!

I'll get the slow ones.

Then we can see how JB looks in a Navy Blue Pinafore and frilly-bottomed girl panties. :blowkiss:

Its to early for you characters. LOL!!

Ok - how did Casey intentionally kill Caylee? Whats the theory this morning?

OK Guys-I think I got overlooked. What do you think of this other blogs theory that perhaps it was Caylees prints found on the duct tape? I doubt that Caylee was ever fingerprinted-but I bet they could have gotten a set from her bedroom. If so, this would def show the poor angel struggled. Oh God - that hurts to type that!!

Sorry Essies! Missed that, glad you reposted.

Duct tape questions I'd like to see answered:

1. KC's fingerprints on it?
2. Actual position and amount of duct tape? Around skull? Over nasal cavity? Mouth?
3. Yes, signs of struggle with duct tape, including Caylee's fingerprints (:furious::furious::furious:)
4. Matches found to duct tape? Roll found?
5. Posted somewhere earlier tonight, either on this thread or another, someone mentioned it would be interesting to see if the duct tape has both pre and post-mortem hair stuck to it. This theory got shot down, but I disagree. I can believe that some hairs might have been caught up before and after - therefore providing some more evidence of COD.

Question. I don't recall hearing if they have hired Jury Consultant yet? Do you know?

I'd also like to know whether traces of blood and saliva were present on the tape, and if traces of tape residue were also found on her ankles or wrists. :(

YES!!

We make a good team, but you're in big trouble for putting THAT mental image in my head. Scrub my TaterHead with bleach now, pls.

Don't know. But they will - all do, especially high profile trials. Everybody and their hound seem to want in on this one.

I'm sorry, Do forgive me.

I'll bleach both of our eyes out right away..

Good thing your eyes pop right off.

:D

Not to be gross this early in the morning-but-we don't know if they found wrists and ankles! Feeling ill now!!

I'm so busted. Hope those jaw exercises have been working, because this is the part when you get to gnaw on me.

Do I believe that KC killed Our Little Peanut? Yes. I do.

Do I have a definitive theory as to how? No. That's in a constant state of flux, depending on new evidence as it comes out. I keep shifting it around, adding and removing puzzle pieces, over and over. I don't think I know enough to have a theory of COD that I'd commit to in writing.

You're such a Brat. I just know I'm going to wake up with two noses in my eye sockets.

Hey Essies. :blowkiss: My Friend.

When I get really grossed out and sad, I take a trip up to the 'It's All About Caylee' thread. Guaranteed to make you feel a bit better.

My understanding is that since LE did such an amazing job excavating the area with an agonizingly thorough grid search pattern, they were able to recover bones as tiny as a pea. I am hopeful they have a fairly complete skeleton. I don't believe they would leave even the tiniest bit of Sweet Caylee out there in the dark if they could help it. Let's just try to believe that they were able to recover all of her. At least I need to believe that for now.

Meh.

You're such a Brat. I just know I'm going to wake up with two noses in my eye sockets.

Just wait til I find the key to the compartment at the bottom of your uhh back.

Noses for eyes will be the least of your issues.

Wait, did I say that out loud?

Phew, Ok Good. :woohoo:

I had the same thought....about the wrists, which might have been hidden beneath larger remains and not visible to those who reported initially about the skull.

We have to stay on topic!!! :D

As far as I know the only official evidence so far is: decomposing body in trunk and then bounced around the yard a couple of times. Casey's car which she was not in possession of the whole time. You know that odor is going to be challenged big time. The death band hair ... that will be challenged with something other than "well, good grief Caylee was in that car all the time, with her mother and transferring hair, etc all the time."

Casey is of course our only suspect.:)

I have not liked this case from the beginning. I don't really know why. They threatened DP to apply pressure knowing they didn't have chit to prove that with. They arrested and charged without a body ... nowhere to go now is there???? People want the DP - prosecution says they aren't going to do it. She was arrested what - 4 times. Can they figure out what they are doing?? Can't a police detective break a 22 year old girl??

Just stuff. I'm still trying to work all this out.

I'm counting on the forensics to be the big point of argument, but I don't think that the forensics experts can do much about the behavioral issues and evidence. :D

Prosecution & defense can and will go toe-to-toe on forensics, but I do believe the circumstantial evidence in this case will sway 11 out of 12 jurors.

She won't ever plea. Which shoe drops next? Defense turns on CA & GA, or they turn state?

The other big boot I am half expecting to come stomping through will be that sometime between June 15th & June 16th, KC said *something* to someone that lends to pre-mediation, but was not taken to be such at the time by whomever she was talking to.
