Findings: The trigger-pulling was normal. It was not like a hair trigger.

Engelbrecht prepared some documentation, ahead of testimony. `handing those documents over to the court..

The documents include a photo album.

The aim of this witness' testimony revolves around trajectory determination

Also the possible position of the person who fired the shot.

PE: I received 4 pieces of sponge from the back rest of the rear seat of the driver's side

PE: My investigation included physical matching, projectile trajectory examination.

PE: Found what appeared to be a bullet track through the sponge, of between 15 and 20 degrees.

PE: The relevance of the angle; to establish the direction of the shot.

PE: The direction was from front left to right back.

PE: On 19/09/2014, conducted investigation on the VW Sharan, for test purposes.

PE: The purpose of this was a trajectory examination. (The Sharan was not the vehicle in question. It's a replica)

PE: Studied the post mortem results of the deceased.

PE: defect on back rest of rear seat can only be in line with a fatal shot if the deceased moved to her right...or leaned to her right, prior to the shot.

PE refers to a picture that depicts the deceased sitting in the middle.

PE: On 17/10/2014, I visited Goodwood prison to conduct examination of Xolile Mngeni. Measured his right & left arms.

PE: Also measured his shoulders. Also measured with firearm in question.
