iirc...2.5 or 3 days, then she was bagged and later dumped.

Tried to find the thread, iirc...it was when the forensics were released...

UPDATE....Here is a link to one of the threads for anyone interested in reading it.
http://websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73752&highlight=trunk

Disagree - it was pretty clear from the forensics that because there was no little insect activity in the trunk - it appears Caylee's remains were never in the trunk unbagged and were in the trunk for a total of 1 - 3 days bagged.

If decomp starts immediately after death, and in the heat during that period of time, unbagged remains would have yielded for more evidence when in fact there really was very little.

I got the book on my Nook!! I am studying for my midterms, but got to read up to chapter 4. I got such a nervous stomach as I started reading it. It was like the end of the trial again. I watched every minute of it, including spending the last three years on here( getting pudgy) and thanks to everyone who posted the juicy bits!!
Oh, did I mention JA is so darn sexy?? He is just the cutest, wittiest guy I have ever seen.

I don't have the book in front of me...I have things highlighted on my NOOK...
iirc..it was 2 small bones and one or both were from the foot.

I know one was her hyoid bone because I had asked if it had been found since if it was broken, that would indicate that she was choked to death. But someone said it wasn't found. So it must be the hyoid and one foot bone. Wow. They found nearly all of her. That is just amazing since her bones were so tiny!!!!

Sorry if this has been posted on the spoiler thread, I don't recall seeing it. EXCELLENT interview on a local channel in Florida with Jeff.

lol, the interviewer suggested Jack McCoy from Law and Order to play him in the movie!

Oh Jack McCoy would be awesome as Jeff!!!! Sorry, I can't remember the actor's name, LOL. OOoh, I just realized who I would want as Linda - the actress who played Serena Southerlyn - Elisabeth Rohm!!!

BBM - Is that what JA says in the book?

ITA, CSI's did an amazing job.

IMO

Yes, bless them, bless them all -- for finding all but 2 bones. They suffered through poison ivy and sickness - but they did it.

Much more than the anthony's ever did.

The bones that they didn't find were so small, IMHO, they were eaten. Otherwise I'm confident the searchers would have found them. That's how dedicated they were.

MOO

Awww, Thanks Aedrys and everyone. I miss getting the bat signal! LOL

I've been meaning to come back and tell about my experiences, and how I ended up on the State's witness list and had to stop posting, pretty much.

But life gets in the way... finally got a job - actually, 3 of them - and have had little time to do much else... and of course, I was completely disgusted with the verdict, and heartbroken.

But I'll try to spend a little time here.... I got Jeff's book of course, but haven't had time to get more than a couple chapters read so far.
MM

Behind as usual, but I'm so happy to hear from you Muzikman.
Can't wait until your able to post more about your experiences and being on the states witness list.
Take care friend.

Hats off (slightly skewed) to anyone capable of & willing to look squarely into the details about children rotting in trunks and elsewhere. I read enough just making sure I understood what Ashton was saying (or not saying) in his book about when OCA threw Caylee into the trash. No more for me.

The trial is over, no need now to convince a witless jury that Caylee was in the trunk. She was. Whether she was in the trunk for 1 or 2 or 14 days, when she was wrapped in garbage bags, makes no difference now. What's the surprise, after all? Any mother capable of killing her baby in cold blood without remorse is surely is equally capable of driving her baby's corpse around without feeling a twinge of any normal emotion.

Ruh Roh - you now have my mind wandering as to who would play Vass! And who would play Yuri!

:great:

Y'all don't know how much I want to post more on Yuri, (self snip!) but I won't! :innocent: Those from chat downstairs will understand! :seeya:

Hey - a question for Jeff - will the movie/book in anyway talk about us?

I still haven't gotten my book!!!:banghead:

No, it was because of my involvement in another area, mainly. Have to wait a bit before talking about some of it still, unfortunately. But Beach wants to have a Q&A thread, which I would very much like to do. :rocker::rocker::rocker:

Wow, just when we thought nothing more could come out in this case. I cannot wait to hear why you were called!

I'm only at chapter 7, listening to audio book in my car, and at about chapter 3 I start shaking my head - how in the world could this jury have found Casey Anthony not guilty. I've removed myself from this for a while because it was so consuming, but listening to the book makes me hate her all over again. I wonder if GA and CA have ever really thought about what implications there were to Casey telling AH her mom and dad were leaving the house to her. Do they realize she was probably plotting their demise as well?

I hope every last juror reads this book and loses sleep for a very long time.

When I read about the texts from Amy where she was having some of her belongings sent to the Anthony home --yikes--my hair stood up on the back of my neck. Casey casually gave her the address so her camera could be sent there. What was casey going to do when Amy starting sending things there? That was like her reaching another end of a hallway. Would that force her to stage a home invasion and finish off her folks? Maybe stage a murder/suicide, and plant a note that they had killed the baby too?
That has always been what i imagined she was planning for the immediate future.

This says it all>:furious:

In Dr. G's Words :

1. No child should have duct tape on their face.
2. 100% of accidents involving children 911 is called.
3. The child was thrown out in the woods like trash.

I think that was her original plan. I know everyone focuses on the chloroform search's but I always think about the neck breaking, household weapons and most of all hand to hand combat. It really says a lot to me.

I agree. She was either lying to string AH along and use her, or she was planning something that would make her parents go away - and thus, as you said, the searches for neck breaking, etc.

She'll mess up again, it's in her blood....I hope it's in my lifetime.

IIRC from our WS'ing - she was her usual conniving self, and planned ahead!!!!!!!!! and gave Amy the wrong address (on purpose, of course!!!) so that the delivery.......... was returned to sender.
