Funny how this "sighting" is released the night after the A & E show about DP. Joel trying to downplay any bad press about DP.
 
Uh huh...funny how that happens. Defense lawyers try to be so sneaky...problem is with this one...is that it failed the first time so this time he included that photo thing. How much you want to bet the cam phone did take a pic of a pretty girl?! Now...how much do you want to bet that she "looked" like Stacy?! NOW...how much do you want to wager that money slipped thru fingers before and after that shot and we shall never see it or if we do...no one can never go back to verify it. ????? LMAO They are just playing games that no one believes now.
 
SS- you are so right- we will never see the picture. If this were true it would be plastered all over the front page (considering DP was the #1 case of 2007). If the writer of the letter was so sure it was Stacy- why did they wait almost 2 months to send the letter to DP (which was stated in the article that he received on Sunday)?- I don't get mail on Sunday :(

Exactly! Oh but I'm sure the PI that DP hired will be right on the case.

You really have to ask?! LOL Same reason Peoria found it neccessary to send it to Drew! It was bogus and the PD would see thru it in a second, imo. It sounds great coming out of his camp for the moment tho!!! Might make some stupid people believe it! They are playing odds that more people are stupid at this point...where I think they are way off base.

I'd love to get my grubby little fingers on a copy of that camera phone photo so I can do some professional side-by-sides and merges with it. IF the photo is pretty good quality, I can work with it and see what I can come up with.

If the person that "photographed" "Stacy" was smart, s/he'd contact the National Enquirer and sell that photo for millions of dollars. S/He could probably remain an "anonymous source" as well.
 
My goodness..they're going to have to come up with something more creative then this to sway the poplar opinion from Drew being the murderer of Stacy, IMO. They used this last time and it went no where. I'm surprised it doesn't say she was in a grocery store again? This time a mall..why didn't anyone else recognize her? Store clerks, security at the Mall..just this one lone person with a camera? Drew just couldn't stand having his name out of the press for the past few weeks.

I doubt it. They probably know they would find either DP's or Brodsky's prints only! LOL You KNOW DP didn't wear gloves to read it...so his prints would have every reason to be there.

That was one of my first thoughts after hearing about the latest sighting. Strange that it comes within hours after the A&E special that portrays DP as the monster he really is.
 
Not only that but isn't it strange that the mystery letter arrives while DP was on vacation?
Now news reports say that the person who saw Stacey took her picture!@!@
whatever...if a person with half a brain saw someone who was reported missing on the national news , he/she would call LE immediately.
 
This is just my own opinion the reason I believe that these letters are being sent to drew is that he is behind this why? Because when the time comes that he is finally charged for Stacys disappearance and murder,when it comes time for trial they will use these letters defense exhibits to place reasonable doubt to the jury.
 
This letter is an insult to the intelligence of the American public. People who have only a passing interest in this case have pretty well sized up what probably happened. They aren't going to be persuaded differently by a letter sent to the missing wife's husband. They're more likely to see it for what it is......a desperate attempt by a guy trying to build a defense.
 
Has anyone seen the movie Mr. Brooks? I saw it over the weekend and it got me thinking about this case. Kevin Costner's character is a serial killer and in one scene he goes to a cemetery, kills someone, and rolls his dead body into an open grave. His plan was to cover it with dirt and the next day the casket it was intended for would be lowered into the grave on top of the dead body. With the note about the cemetery that Sharon received, it just kind of gave me goosebumps.
 
Yes, that movie has been mentioned a few times. I think it is highly unlikely since DP did not exactly plan to get into a huge fight that morning and do whatever he did. That would have taken some time and some thought to do. He was rushed in this case, imo.

Also, I don't know about graves being left open all night either. It seems it would be a huge liability for the cemetery to do this unless it was locked up tightly and had security.

The guy that sent the letter was nuts.

Drew came home from vacation and "opened" his mail on Sunday.

We all know the letter is another attempt by DP and his Attorney to use for the defense to throw "reasonable doubt" to the jury that the "possibility" exists that Stacy might be alive. I might add that (using the noun "Attorney" for Mr. Brodsky is a shame to all defense attorneys who really do follow the law and do not use the sleazy tactics Brodsky has used so far) .

I can't believe they are so dumb to even think that their own peers would be as DUMB as they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm more interested in where DP went for his vacation, who he was with, etc. etc. etc.!!! We need to sleuth out that information! :)
