For me, that's a huge leap because if the police interviewed anyone on that call, they'd say "gus told us he wouldn't be there." How would Gus know, less than two hours after the murder, that Travis wouldn't be there?

He'd be implicating himself completely with a statement like that. But the way he tried to insinuate himself into the case makes one wonder.

On some tv show he claimed JA called him that night and told him travis was dead...

Since so many of the things she did were very close to one another (CVS receipt 10 minutes before Starbucks receipt, etc.) the hair salon is likely very close to WalMart, heck, she might have had it done in the hair salon inside Walmart, the closest WM to me has a hair salon in it.

She had to have done it between 10:10am when she went to the bank and 1:57pm or so when she called Travis two times. The pictures were at 212pm, 225pm, and 228pm. Walmart was at 322pm. I believe she could have spent an hour in walmart. I wind up being in there longer than expected A LOT of times.

I didn't know about that before all this talk in the thread today. So $800 beforehand and $400 along the way? It had to be a different account because didn't we calculate up before in another thread that if Travis had cashed her check to him (if it had come in the mail) then it would have bounced?

She was doing everything in her power not to stick out to LE. She was in stealth mode. She was on a mission to kill Travis in my opinion. And while I'm at it, I wonder what Darryl B would have answered if he had been asked if he gave Jodi money for a stolen DVD player? That random remote she found in her "rental" car that she had to return to him is awfully suspect.

Maybe Darryl B gave her the 400 for the DVD player? (ok he was being generous, yet possibly believed she really needed cash).

That's right, the pics were an hour before the WalMart receipt and the pics look like she was in the car when she took them.

He definitely gave her something for the DVD player she stole from her grandparent's home, IMO. I'm sure he probably gave her more than what the player was worth. He was awfully nervous on the witness stand. Who knows, he was still in love with her (at least it seems to me). She probably romped with him too prior to her trip to Mesa, hense the extra money deposited for the trip.

Yep. That remote is a piece of the puzzle that clicks into place by itself, it does. Juan did get him to admit that the defendant said she needed the gas cans to go to Mesa, and his admitted yes came out with a choke.

That seems like a lot of work, or maybe I am misunderstanding. When I quote someone and want:websleuther: to be in the spot I started - I merely quote the post. Then when it posts, to go back where you started just click on the little blue arrow next to the quoted persons name.

For example, when this post shows up it will show the quoted portion in blue by atthelake. Next to your name is a little blue arrow. I click on that and it takes me right back to your original post that I quoted. You should be able to do the same on Ipad or phone.

Hope that makes sense.

On My Ipad I don't use any app to watch live feeds, or to post. I just use it the same as my computer.

Thank you for the new tip, Softail! This is even easier than how I have been doing it. I didn't even think to wonder what that little arrow meant. Not as much of a good sleuth as I thought :websleuther:

I have been so bothered by that, because of her stalking that many of his friends knew about (and was mentioned when he was finally discovered), you'd think any inexplicible behavior on his part would be noticed and checked into, not waiting until the night before another planned event (trip to Cancun) before anyone goes to his house.

I don't know how many friends Travis had. I don't know how many people that knew him knew the depth of what was going on with him and Jodi. I don't know what their patterns of contacting him were like and the responses he typically gave. There might have only really been less than a dozen people who really knew what was going on. Some could have been women he'd tried unsuccessfully to date and those women and he were no longer in contact--or in frequent contact. we don't know.

Not much. I am very curious about these phones. From the way she tells it, she had three phones.

One lost--replaced by Gus in April.

Gus' phone lost--replaced by herself in May.

I keep asking about her getting sim cards and new numbers because I'm thinking you can just turn on the new phone and use the same number without a new SIM. I need to go back and look at the text messages and calls to see if her number changed on them.

Awful lot of "lost" phones going on during this period.

It's a leap for me. She was broke and never paid for anything, so far as I can tell... :blushing:

There's evidence she gave Travis money in prior months to pay him for the car. Notice not a month or maybe a little more than a month later after getting the phone, she's racking up on an insurance claim. Probably before it was time to pay the first bill.
