Today may finally be the day that the judge gives JW an appropriate response:

JW: "May we approach?"

Judge: "NO. You may ask a proper question or sit down. This isn't law school and you've wasted enough of the court's time"

I think the only thing that's stopped JSS so far is the concern that jury might actually stand and applaud.

Lying
Of all the non-verbal body language that we may observe, being able to tell whether a person is lying or not will stand you in good stead.

Some of the typical signs and signals that a person is lying include:

•Eyes maintain little or no eye contact, or there may be rapid eye movements, with pupils constricted.
•Hand or fingers are in front of his or her mouth when speaking.
•His or her body is physically turned away from you, or there are unusual/un-natural body gestures.
•His or her breathing rate increases.
•Complexion changes such as in color; red in face or neck area.
•Perspiration increases.
•Voice changes such as change in pitch, stammering, throat clearing.

This all could have been stipulated by the DT and the PT and there could have been a brief amount of details to the jury explaining the stipulation - especially since there is ONE DAY for this testimony.

Think JW doesn't have a lot of substantive questions for this witness - but just wants slam Dr. D.

JM will not let this happen.

Wow! I knew Dr. De was harmful to the DT case, but the whole purpose of this witness is to counter her, IMO. I thought she was pretty devastating, but apparently Dr De was annihilating. KaPowee! completely blew the DT case away.

I'm not impressed with a witness who goes on and on about how wonderful and smarter they are than everyone else in the World or especially in the jury box. Dr Samuels did that, too.

Dr De didn't. She just concisely gave information that made sense.
