Forgive me. who is josh?
The therapist testified that Michelle told her there was no physical abuse.
There has been no testimony that there was physical violence in the household.
Michelle didn't die from emotional abuse, she died from physical violence.

I'm a little behind here, but just wanted to say on one side, I agree, his' peeing on the floor isn't a sign he would murder his wife. But it is a testament to his unpredictable behavior, of what one would expect of an adult man. Which in part goes back to, you wouldn't think he'd kill his wife, but, he was known for his unpredictable and inappropriate acts.

Forgive me. who is josh?
I would imagine it would get quite interesting......
I was a G at first, reading about the case in People Mag, and the headlines reading."Blood found in Husband's SUV", then I read an article at N&O, saying
"Husband"s Car found at Airport", lol, and then when I found out they were wrong, I decided to just hold out for awhile, and 5+years later, I am a NG and have my own list as to why.
Anything is possible. Not to mention MY (who told the therapist she was verbally abused).
I am a nurse and in my profession we don't second guess claims of abuse. Michelle is now dead so we cannot talk to her... but what her therapist says... that is like a voice for Michelle.
As for putting all abusers into a neat cut and dry category I feel that is impossible to do... While it may help identify who is at risk and study patterns I do not believe it is an absolute.
imhoo.
someone who has not testified yet... and remember everyone this is a new trial...
(lots of good info on the legal thread as well from gritguy worth a read!)
Josh and Julie Dalton were friends staying at the hotel, with Gen and Jason.
He will be testifying.
I am not going to spoil anything for anyone.
Does anyone know who the 4th person at the defense table is?
The one on the left of Jason?
You made a post a while back about where they did and didn't have video, and that was a good one. If only some other video camera had directly caught JY in a way that confirmed his alibi or confirmed the prosecution's theory that he was traveling back to NC that night, none of us would be posting b/c there'd be no trial. It is really too bad that didn't happen, for everyone's sake. No matter what the jury decides, there will be many who think the decision is wrong; that unfortunately is the nature of dealing with imperfect knowledge.
I thought it was testified that he was drunk? How many incidents were there? Not saying it's right but people do really dreadful things when drunk which they may or may not regret later!
I believe he is an investigator.
Actually, Michelle has spoken. Michelle's therapist said she told her there was no physical violence in the marriage. The jury can not disregard the words from the victim.
An incident five years previously when Young was drunk will be ignored by the jury after they hear from Josh Dalton that there were no visible injuries.

I admit I missed part of her testimony today. Was he also drunk when he broke her windshield?
I guess I'm lucky. I've been with people when they had too much to drink and NOT one of them has lifted a hand to me.
guess I just knew the right people.

I agree, this would have been over the first weekend.
Glad you liked ONE of my posts !!
A PI, huh?
Thank you, Cody...
I wonder what kind of involvement he has in this case.
Oops, defense just basically destroyed this shoe witness.
Didn't she also testify that the reason they were fighting was because he was drunk? The big problem for the prosecution is that--while Young apparently made quite a fool of himself when drinking--there is no evidence he had anything to drink the night of Michelle's murder.
