This is a great article that shows the emotional as well as physical investment in the searchers and shows the support for TES and for what they do. A must read.

:clap: Thank you for posting the link, it is an awesome article written from a searchers point of view. I also felt like it re-inforced what I had said, you start the day as strangers but leave very much as friends. The love, compassion & dedication I saw in our NC search was very heart warmimg. Standing next to Tim & his team, you see they really do take each search to heart.

Thank you Tim & all the members of TES.

Wonderful find!!!!!

I feel as though someone has written and article based on all of my feelings about this search and how gratifying it was to be apart of the search. I did not need to fly since I live in Florida and I paid my own way. My heart told me I needed to be apart of this and I also feel so lucky to have met so many wonderful people.

Thank you for posting this article. I agree............A must read.

adding my thanks for posting the article as it takes us right into the heart of TES and it's all I need to know to continue my support (which is only word of mouth and periodic meager donations) of TES and TIM. I have just , since this case, come to know anything about them but quickly came to appreciate what they do and was saddened by all the negative things written / said. Like MN said in his interview...(paraphrased) ...people say horrendous things and make accusations when they have NO IDEA about what is being done by the very folks they are criticizing. I really enjoyed this "INSIDE the camp" view and it actually brought a bit of a damp eye.......

FWIW, her writing of this article (particularly her mention of items found) are in direct conflict of the Volunteer agreement and terms that she signed to be a volunteer of a TES organized search. And if it were me, I wouldn't advertise this article.:):):)

It's already been published and it's not my responsibility to oversee what people write. Since we know already there are many bones out there when searching and her explanation is mostly on how the process works with the chain of command, I think the important message to note is care of which items are found and the heartfelt effort that goes into searching for Caylee.

Kindly leave a comment of support for TES in your post please since this is a thread just for that.

I appreciate TM & TES's efforts. I also appreciate the meaning of "confidential".

This young lady may well have talked to TES about the article. For all we know she emailed them the story & got Tim's permission to publish it.

The author described my experience almost to a T with the people involved in the search.

Bumping for TM and TES, in TOTAL admiration of the mission and for all of the LOST that have been found. :blowkiss:

~Lost is not alone~
T. Miller, Founder Texas Equusearch

I'm bumping for TM and TES. Tim Miller is my hero. I am planning on becoming a member and hopefully we can start a chapter in my area in the future.

I think TM and Equusearch are wonderful and think it's awful that people will change their perception of an organization over something so ignorant. How can people ignore the good that has been done and concentrate on this case only? It's beyond me.

I believe Tim Miller & TES takes each search to heart. I think it crushes them to walk away with no results. Why does he keep doing what he does? It's my personal belief he doesn't have the heart to tell a family no.

There are times a body is not found, even when LE & searchers are called in very early. There are times they are found quickly & times they are not found for years. How long do you stay? Everyone is worth searching for & trying to find.

In this case, Casey wasn't caught for over a month. It really was a cold case before LE was ever called. I think once you size up Casey you pretty much figure she didn't trollip thru the woods with a dead baby. Casey thinks of Casey only, she would have been in a big hurry to bed down Tony or who ever she could use at the moment. Who would want scratches, bruises, broken nails, dirty hair, muddy shoes, stinky, sweaty body? Not her......that's us, the people who search, not the KC's of this world. I honestly believe after learning all we have about her, she just dumped her in the dumpster. quick & easy. If she was put in that dumpster a good month before even reported as missing, there is no way she will be found. Still in all though, she didnt commit the perfect crime & she will pay for the rest of her life.

I don't think TES should stick around just to look good to the public. I think they come in when they honestly believe they can help. When they realize they can't, why not go help someone you can?

No one should be pizzed at TES, be mad at Casey. The blame is on her & her only.

SO TRUE!!! VERY WELL SAID!! THANKS, you speak for all of us who have been there searching with TES and know what they stand for. Tim Miller does so much for so many families. Can you imagine what it would be like if there was no Tim Miller?:clap::clap:

I was at the meeting last night in Orlando (and became an official member of TES) and Tim gave a very moving speech. I met him for the first time in September and was amazed at how approachable, humble, generous and caring that he truly is. When he speaks it is from the heart and he treats everyone as though he has known them a lifetime. He is an incredible man and I am honored to be associated in even the smallest way with his organization. The people who work with him side-by-side are also amazing....I was overwhelmed by the quality of people that I met last night and also that I met on my searches in September and November. I met some amazing people on my searches (particularly on the one in November) who I keep in touch with and consider to be friends (some of them read here...you know who you are!!).

So many people in TES work tirelessly as VOLUNTEERS day-in and day-out to help complete strangers. These people (and those who generously donate money) are what human kindness is all about. To reach out to someone else in their time of need, just to let them know that you care, is an incredible thing. I pray that I never need TES, but if God-forbid I did, I would be eternally grateful that people like Tim Miller and his team exist.

As I read over this, I want to make it clear that I am NOT tooting my own horn simply because I am a TES member and I have searched...I certainly do not categorize myself in the same group as Tim, et al. I would feel blessed if I were 1/100th of the person that Tim Miller is. To be that selfless and caring is what I strive to be.

:blowkiss: Granny L, thanks for all your efforts in searches with TES. When you see Tim, face to face, & when you listen to him, you KNOW what is in his heart. His team is the same way. Every person from TES that was on the NC search was wonderful. I saw how they helped the family. Tim Miller is a good man, a very good man. The people with TES show the respect they have for him as a person, a leader & his expertise. Every person I met was sincere & dedicated. I encourage everyone to join the next search that comes to your area. You will learn a lot.

:blowkiss::blowkiss: Very well said. He wears his heart on his sleeve. And yes, you feel kindness & warmth from Tim & many in his group. You walk in as strangers & you do leave as friends. And Odie, ya gotta love Odie. All the people with Tes from Florida & Texas that I met were just wonderful. They make you want to strive to do better in giving back to others, kind of a "play it forward" feeling. Glad you went to the meeting & am very interested to hear how it all goes. I know they would like to start teams in other states so they are not stretched so thin. It's a great idea.

off topic, but greetings to all from Germany. Daughter had our grandson Dec 1. She had OUTSTANDING care at the German hospital. Baby is the cutest anywhere. They are home now & doing great. Thanks for all who prayed so hard with us when he was going to come way to early. All your prayers brought this beautiful miracle into the world.

Glückwünsche (Congratulations) Grandma and Family!!

How awesome to come here and read all these heartfelt messages of support to Tim and TES. I am going to print them all out and make sure Tim sees them - it will be a good feeling to hand them to him. Thank you for that opportunity ! :)

Thank you all for your support. TES is a wonderful organization, and Tim is an awesome man. Like the rest of us, he is human. I am so honored to be a small part of this great organization, and to call Tim "friend".

In the last month, TES has worked with families and / or had searches in TX, NC, WI, ND, FL and has many, many cases going on at the moment. Please, if you see a search in your area, and find it in your heart, join in and volunteer. I promise, it can be a life-changing event. It has been for me.
