"In an unusual break with their own policy, the American Civil Liberties Union announced that it was opposing Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

The ACLU is nonpartisan — it does not oppose or support candidates for judicial or political office — but the group said in a release Saturday afternoon that its board held an 'extraordinary meeting, and has chosen to make an exception to that policy.'”

ACLU breaks nonpartisan tradition by opposing Brett Kavanaugh
Wow, that is so non ]partisan

Regarding the man who claimed BK raped his female friend on boat but then recanted that allegation:

"The Senate Judiciary Committee referred apparent false statements made to committee investigators alleging misconduct by Judge Brett Kavanaugh for criminal investigation on Saturday."

Thank you for this update, @Inthedetails. I'm thankful there will be a criminal investigation. Prank or not, it wasn't funny.

Another one of Soro’s supported groups.....no surprise.
"Following Thursday's testimony by Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, the magazine of the Jesuit religious order in the United States publicly withdrew its endorsement of Kavanaugh. An editorial in America Magazine declared that 'this nomination is no longer in the best interests of the country.'"

Sen. Klobuchar discusses Kavanaugh hearings at Texas Tribune Festival

Sen. Klobuchar heard the emotional, dramatic testimony from both Dr. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh at a hearing Thursday at the Senate Judiciary Committee.

She made a dig at the festival Saturday at Republicans for not questioning Dr. Ford themselves and instead yielding their time to a female sex crimes prosecutor from Arizona.

"I think they outsourced their constitutional duty to her," Sen. Klobuchar said. "You know that old movie, 12 Angry Men, this was a variation of that -- 11 men trying not to look angry."

So have these folks:

Jesuit order's America magazine urges withdrawal of Kavanaugh nomination

The reversal is significant given Kavanaugh has repeatedly cited his Catholic faith and Jesuit education in defending himself against Ford's accusations. In his opening statement Thursday, Kavanaugh twice referenced his years as a student at the Jesuit-run Georgetown Prep school in Maryland. Ford has accused a drunken Kavanaugh of assaulting her at a house party in the summer of 1982, when he was a student at the school. Kavanaugh has vigorously denied her claims.

Visiting NH, Avenatti says Kavanaugh accuser would tell story to FBI

In a sworn declaration, Avenatti's client, Julie Swetnick, says she directly witnessed sexual misconduct by Kavanaugh during his high school years.

Avenatti said his client is willing to tell her story to the FBI.

“There's a lot of witnesses that will corroborate the 13 paragraphs of her declaration,” he said. “It's going to be a credibility contest between her and Brett Kavanaugh and others. There's a number of pieces of evidence that exists in order to support her allegations.”

'We Are Tired': Sexual Assault Survivors Protest Kavanaugh In Boston

The group was there in support of Christine Blasey Ford, who testified for hours before the Senate Judiciary Committee about an alleged 1982 sexual assault by then-high schooler Brett Kavanaugh.

“It’s so obvious that she’s telling the truth, and [the senators] just don’t care,” said Sasha Scott, who attended the rally. “I think that the message that sends to people is just terrible.”

The group gathered as the FBI prepares for a week-long investigation into Ford’s allegations.

But she could have remained anonymous! That is how the system works! The accused has a right to face their accuser only when enough evidence has been found that the accuser is correct. I have been through this sexual assault, more than once (unfortunately). I have been through the trials, the lies (about what happened). I have heard, ‘he is a good man who did a bad thing’ . I have seen how the sex offender counseling system works (a joke). I have seen the court system hand a child over to a lying misogynistic racist because they believed him over me! (She is a now a beautiful woman who knows who her dad really is).
Almost every woman I know from my generation and the next has been sexually assaulted in some way. We are survivors! We are the ones who have made it to the other side!

For Sen. Feinstein to have not move heaven and earth to help this woman, given the incredible tools she has is unconscionable.

Moo

Sorry, ws is being wonky and eloquence is not my forte. (Plus my Buckeyes are struggling),

Sen. Feinstein wouldn't be right on this no matter what she did, she did what she thought best for the situation but you can't make everyone happy, especially those bent on spinning everything a democrat does as some sort of conspiracy. The critisism of how and when the information came to light is a red herring to distract from the issue.

Trump:NBC News incorrectly reported (as usual) that I was limiting the FBI investigation of Judge Kavanaugh, and witnesses, only to certain people. Actually, I want them to interview whoever they deem appropriate, at their discretion. Please correct your reporting!
