A gun was used so yes it was missed and still missing.

Well, yeah. What makes you think the brother knows about it? You think LE missed it when they executed the search warrant? Then David Heinrich found it, but is keeping it from LE even though he allowed exposure of a lot of other things? Or do you have reason to think he has known about it for a while (possibly not in the house) and has been "protecting knowledge" of it?

Does anyone know if LE knew about the knife collection and hatchet? Were all the 100+ knives smooth-edged, thus not part of the warrant?

Not to be Debbie Downer, but even if they found a gun there is no way to prove it was THE gun

I wonder if LE has looked at any Craig's list hook up listings or at any other ways to hook up with people who share wanting to have sex . Craig's list is free, I think. Other sites are pay sites.

So many people have been on those sites, it seems, when you read here.

There apparently are men who want a man who wears female panties.

They found a whole lot of knives and a hatchet, but not the gun. Where is his gun? Hidden in a stash with other items? Since this guy doesn't talk does his brother know he had one when they lived together at the time in paynesville? It's a piece of the puzzle, just like the importance of a shoeprint or a tire print. It doesn't prove it alone but it starts bringing it together more. So where is it? He used it.

26 years? In the bottom of a waterway or tossed in a dumpster years ago?

I have not read all of the posts on this site referring to Johnny Gosch, so perhaps my theories have already been mentioned by others and discussed. I notice that there are two schools of thought regarding who is responsible for Johnny Gosch's disappearance -- either a sex ring or an individual pedophile. There are several reasons why I believe that a very professional and experienced sex ring abducted Johnny Gosch, Eugene Martin and, possibly, Jacob Wetterling. All three boys were Caucasian, had an "all-American" look, were physically attractive, lived in the Midwest region of America, and were around the same age -- pre-puberty. I believe that there is an entity which acts as a procurer of boys for wealthy men who don't want to be seen cruising around in their cars looking for pre-teen boys, so by using this entity, they remain anonymous, are willing to pay a sizable amount of money and they put in an "order" for the specific type of boy they want. I don't think it was any coincidence that all three boys were so similar in appearance and age. Incidentally, I seem to remember that the person who took Jacob Wetterling asked all three boys their ages and Jacob was, apparently, the age he was looking for. Next, none of the three boys have ever been found -- dead or alive. That would indicate that they were abducted and kept somewhere. It seems reasonable, also, that they were perhaps used for pornographic photos or videos to show potential "customers". Once money exchanged hands, the boys were probably delivered to the buyer and they might have been kept by that individual for some time or sold to someone else. Obviously, after a certain age, if these boys were still alive they would no longer be a commodity sought by pedophiles. Would they be released? Possibly, because by that time the boys would have been "groomed" in homosexual acts, might have been used to "initiate" other abducted boys and by the time they reached an age that was no longer desirable to the men who bought them, they would either be too ashamed to return home or would have been brainwashed into remaining a "missing person". I personally do not believe the Franklin story but I am on the fence about Bonacci. I believe that whomever abducted Johnny Gosch was doing so on behalf of a "clearing house" for pedophiles and are either dead now or still abducting boys throughout the country in the same fashion and for the same reason.

Thanks y'all :) I had no clue. ( In regards to comments about who else may have taken Jacob) Sas, Shergal, Wisdom

This has been previously discussed. I believe DH was too much of a local loner to be involved with a sex ring.

I read somewhere that DJH told LE when questioned in 1990 that he had purchased his shoes at JCP. These 1989-vintage JCP shoes (online auction image) sure look identical:

And don’t kid yourself, plenty of cheap (Kmart, ShopKo, Sears, etc.) 1980s-era discount athletic shoes had zigzag, wavy, curved or straight tread patterns.

This is not difficult to prove, it simply requires real research; and everyone knows, for example, what the shoe people in Beaverton, Oregon, say about real research!

It was Sears, and he said they were the only tennis shoes he owned, bought them a year prior to the search.

I'm looking for a story that ran the last few weeks, about the FBI bringing in a CARD team (or Child Abduction Rapid Deployment) into the Wetterling case about a year ago. Can anyone help me find that article?

Thanks!

ELOC, do you have any plans for a follow up book?

Discovering the Peart notes re his intterview with DAH is what was the pivotal change , I feel, in this investigation.

I think you would have a lot more you could find now. You seem to be a super investigator . Of course LE has a ton of info we cannot see, but you found so much f interest that you verfied.

Thank you for your nice comments!! I do appreciate the support that I've received from so many people here and on my FB page, it's really feels quite surreal at times. I hope to get a chance to meet a lot of you one day and share my story among friends! :)

I've been focusing on working with a couple of TV stations and newspapers, and am in the middle of my busiest months of the year at work. There have been a few news stories out there where I've provided the research behind the scenes, and that's pretty much where I'm most comfortable to be honest. (It's amazing to me how much time and effort go into a 3-4 minute segment.)

As for the research, it was pretty simple. I scoured tirelessly and shared my newspaper archive research along the way, and eventually hit the ground as well. When I did, I was willing to look in places that others would scoff at - and it lead to a wealth of information and truths. I shared that information as well, and always passed tips onto Stearns and the FBI. I think time will show the FBI was the most crucial figure in this case.

The indictment makes no mention of the Wetterling case. Heinrich has denied any involvement in the disappearance of Wetterling, who was 11 when he was kidnapped in 1989 near his home in St. Joseph.

Authorities have stopped short of calling Heinrich a suspect and have not charged him in that case.

It lists Jacobs clothing in the search warrant.
