Mother has been threatening to come back to US for while now. I hope US doesn't let her in.

Will DT show on his court day? There might be a chance he does not. Anticipating his appearance after gun shots wounds and many months in prison. Anticipating the outcome of the first hearing today.

"For the first time since a pair of bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 260 others in mid-April, the surviving bombing suspect is expected to be in court to hear charges leveled against him Wednesday.

A probable cause hearing for Dzhokar Tsarnaev, 19, will be held at 3:30 p.m. ET..."

Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, who lives in the Dagestan region of southern Russia, told The Daily Telegraph by telephone: “No, I will not be going.” She declined to answer further questions.

...The Boston Herald quoted a court official on Tuesday saying the accused bomber’s relatives had been notified of the hearing, but she was unable to divulge how many would attend.

Wondering, is she not allowed in the US? Or if she was allowed, would she face charges? Or is she just a no show?

I may be wrong, but I believe he will be in court Wednesday.

You are right, I am wrong! I got my dates mixed up, sorry.

He should be arriving in court in Boston in approximately 6 hours today! Very interested to see how he pleads at this arraignment and I want to see footage of his demeanor in court. JMO

Tsarnaev's mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, told ABC News today that she and her husband will be monitoring the trial from their home in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, a restive region of southern Russia. Zubeidat, who has an open arrest warrant in Massachusetts in connection with a shoplifting charge, said she hoped to travel to the U.S., but only once she has assurances she'll be able to see her son.

Zubeidat said her daughters, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's sisters, had planned to attend the hearing today to support their brother.

"This has all been set up. He's been framed," said Jennifer Mack of Boston, who was wearing a T-shirt with Tsarnaev's face on the front.
"I see zero evidence to say he actually did this," added Lacey Buckley, 23, of Washington state. "There is no DNA; there are no fingerprints. They got nothing."
About a half dozen supporters, all young women, wore T-shirts that read "Free the Lion" and "Dzhokhar is innocent."

Don't they realize the FBI or CIA could easily plant fingerprints or DNA? Why on earth would they frame these two anyway.

Don't they realize the FBI or CIA could easily plant fingerprints or DNA? Why on earth would they frame these two anyway.

Besides that, DNA and fingerprints are only useful in certain types of crimes, to place a person at the scene of the crime - and ten kabillion video and still images (not to mention his confession) have already done that perfectly. Where does the person think "DNA" would be found that would be any more damning than the receipts, videos, webcams, pictures and eye witnesses? Silly and stupid.

In any case, they could find DNA, fingerprints, saliva, a map with an X, a signed confession (oh, wait...) and a selfie instagram shot of "about to bomb the marathon" and those same people would say they were planted, photoshopped and/or genetically engineered by the government.

His arm in a cast and his face swollen, a blase-looking Dzhokhar Tsarnaev pleaded not guilty Wednesday in the Boston Marathon bombing in a seven-minute proceeding that marked his first appearance in public since his capture in mid-April.

As survivors of the bombing looked on, Tsarnaev, 19, gave a small, lopsided smile to his sisters upon arriving in the courtroom. He appeared to have a jaw injury and there was swelling around his left eye and cheek.

Then, after he leaned in toward a microphone and said, "Not guilty" over and over in his Russian accent, he was led out of the courtroom in handcuffs, making a kissing gesture toward his family with his lips. His sister sobbed loudly, resting her head on a woman seated next to her.

While Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsaranev pleaded not guilty to 30 federal charges in court Wednesday, his mother monitored the situation from her home in southern Russia.“My son is the greatest. I am so proud of him. I knew from the first day, first minute, first second he was not guilty,” she said.

"My son is the greatest" with a video/photo of him dropping a backpack right behind women and children that later exploded. Right mom, you truly know that your son is the greatest. And you are psychotic.

So basically he's trying to send a message through the accent is how I take it. He is being cocky IMO.

I don't know, perhaps. Maybe it is tactic. His American accent will probably return for the trial. I am certain his team of attorneys will advising him on how to present himself - accent & speech included. JMO

When you are bilingual (fluently) it is very easy to change into the accent of opposite language, if that's make sense. He would still have an American accent. For instance, when he speaks Russian he could choose to sound native Russian or choose to sound like an American speaking the Russian language.

One of public defender attorneys representing him is fluent in Russian too.

However, it would be in his best interest to maintain his American accent when the trial commences.

I think you could be right, it might have been cockiness. But I will be shocked if his attorneys will allow him to continue with the Russian accent.

I have spoken to a few people today and they believe he pled not guilty because he wants the death penalty. If he plead guilty, it would have been life in prison.

JMO

Also - we still don't know what is up the defense's sleeve. Judy Clarke, one of DT's attorneys, is well renown for her plea deals for life in prison (she is very anti death penalty) so if this proceeds to trial than I feel the defense team have something major in their case we are not privy to.
