That's why I think a local pool supplier would remember selling that barrel to DrewP.

Unless he bought it online, but still he would have to pick it up or have it delivered. Surely that would be something LE could check out...

Technically it shouldn't be missing from the garage unless the chlorine was used up and it was tossed.

Can chlorine remove dna? Maybe he used it to flush the pipes in his home. I guess that would create quite a smell though.

Thou I dont own a pool, I know that my next door neighbor loads the pool with chlorine then covers the pool for the winter. He claims that in the spring the pool is much easier to clean. But a drum full, I dont think so. I grew up in Ft Lauderdale, had a below ground pool in our backyard, and my parents never bought a drum of chlorine for the pool. We used the pool all the time, the pool was tested and cleaned everyday.

IF IF someone dumped a person head first while alive into a barrel like that they could never get out without help!!! putting the lid on would muffle any screams and IF IF the barrel was in the garage with doors closed they could not be heard from outside nor inside the house either.

Children in bed, etc.

Plus IF IF there were just enough chlorine in the bucket to cover the persons head they would/could drown in there.

DP could have said ANYTHING was in the barrel, and unless someone looked in it to see ?? IF IF IF Chlorine comes in a barrel like that wouldn't it have words on the outside of the barrel to say SO label etc.?

Guys I searched all over the TV schedule last night the 23rd and did not see Greta anywhere ??? I have Direct TV, what channel/network is she on??

.

Camper, the name of Greta's program is On the Record and it is on the Fox News Channel.

Thanks Liz, I searched the entire news nets last night. Try again.

SOOOOOOOO here is some info I dug up again:

This picture is from my Post #77 page four of this thread!! This is a CLOSED head drum, needs a pump to pump out contents. Here is the link posted on Post #77.

This is the link that has the info about the barrel, from the Distributor or Manufacturer.

My thought is that IF IF IF DP's barrel had liquid Chlorine in it, it would have required a pump for it that would fit into one of the white caps on the barrel shown.

We need to see HOW Chlorine comes, IF IF IF liquid then it needed a pump FOR a barrel this size with a CLOSED HEAD.

IF IF IF Chlorine comes powdered, then most likely it would have an OPEN head to scoop out. I have not researched HOW a person orders Chlorine for a home pool. Anyone go ahead.

IF IF IF Chlorine comes in powder form for home pools, I am guessing it would not come in a HUGE barrel like this, cuz yer arm is not long enough to get it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE donut know what type of head DP's barrel was, but IF IF IF it was purchased with devious thoughts, and IF IF IF it was used in the disappearance of Stacy, then it most likely was a CLOSED HEAD barrel.

BOLINGBROOK -- The tightlipped law has kept a lid on a neighbor's report of Drew Peterson allegedly loading a large barrel into the back of his Denali soon after his wife vanished, but the former cop's brother says he didn't lend a hand.
"I don't know anything about it," said Paul Peterson, the brother of recently retired police Sgt. Drew Peterson, when asked about reports of a neighbor telling police that Drew and another man hauled a mysterious blue barrel from his residence to his Denali. (more at link)

My thought is that whoever helped load that barrel would be someone that didn't come around the home much before Stacy's disappearance and hasn't been back since. Otherwise the neighbor would possibly have recognized him from previous visits or recognized him now. So it is someone who isn't around. Doesn't want to take a chance of the neighbor seeing him.

Hi Everybody,
I think I know where the mention of the rubbermaid came from. I saw a video around the 2nd of Nov. with a Fox reporter who said that a neighbor helped Drew take a large, heavy rubbermaid container from his bedroom. The neighbor, the reporter said, immediately told the police. I have been trying to find the video and can't, but I do remember it fairly well. The "rubbermaid" and the obviously odd circumstances were almost funny, were it not a tragedy. It was almost as if DP wanted to get caught - but then the whole container thing got little press except when mentioned by Ric Mims.

When the media hears something from someone, like a friend, relative or neighbor it is considered a rumor unless it is confirmed by a police source. They can talk with the person about it, but they don't put much emphasis on it. And police haven't been talking. However, it came up again because an unnamed police source confirmed. Officially police still aren't confirming it.

--->>>chicoliving, thank you for your thoughtfulness in posting the channels. Howsomever, I am brilliant in finding them all, GRETA was not anywhere to be found on Direct TV last night for me.

We even have channel 102, which lets us watch eight news channels at the same time including the four you posted, have the weather channel included in the eight.

Additionally channel 104, gives us four sports channels at the same time.

Trust me we did not get Greta last night, no place, no how.

I even slapped myself in the head, cuz I thought I had gone deaf and blind, nopey.

Afterthought, TV was funky last night, the read outs said one thing, and when you clicked in was something totally different, maybe they just misplaced Greta in the electronic confusion.

I am an expert first class, when it comes to channel surfing.:innocent: :innocent:

They will have to wrench it out of my cold hands when it is MY time to go upward.:innocent:

LOL :)

Oh, Greta herself wasn't on last night. I think it was Jamie Colby that sat in. I was on turkey overload and its all kind of a blur.

Besides the blue barrel, what happened to Stacy's night stand? Why is it missing? :(

Camper, you poor thing! Greta was taking a day off last night. Her show was on FOX news channel but someone else, Jaime Colby, I believe was filling in. You may well have flipped right past the show, seeing the substitute hostess and thinking is was not Greta's "On The Record".

Here- you can laugh at me...
The day after Thanksgiving was very busy for me with kids impatient, wrecked house, me bloated and no patience for lines at the store. I got in my mini van with my 13 yr old and saw she was laughing at me. I had fished a lipstick out of my purse instead of my keys, rolled it out, and she caught me as I was about to try to start the van with it. Yep, I was that stressed, and I am only 40-something. I try not to remember 40-what.

Maybe like a newpaper delivery person? Our papers are delivered early in the morning. I know the people who deliver them start out around 3 am. and they drive through our subdivision with only parking lights on at times if they need to turn around in a driveway. And I just remembered my garbage truck comes by my house around 6 am.

Stacy was last heard from via texting/cell call around 9-10am Sunday which is not long after Drew P says he awoke briefly and spoke with her (per People article).

Whatever happened must have happened between that time and the time he was home at 2:30 the next am. So 9-10am to 2:30am. That's a lot of time. I'm sure he can account for some of it but there seems to be those pesky inconsistencies in his timeline for that day. I see the Ambien defense in his future.
