He spent the week end reading medical text books.

Ummm....well actually it was impossible to tell because of the decomposition, and the level of decomp on the face makes you think that in fact she did have some injury in that area!

10:41am: "He could not determine a cause of death for Allison Baden-Clay," Mr Byrne said of forensic pathologist Dr Nathan Milne.

"And other means of death, such as toxicity, drowning, or falling from a height, cannot be excluded."

The court heard elevated levels of alcohol and traces of the antidepressant drug Zoloft were found in Mrs Baden-Clay's system. The court also heard levels of drugs and alcohol in the body can be falsely inflated during the decomposition process.

Drowning was excluded due to the absence of diatoms....what a shambles. This is not going to win Byrne any favours with the judge, jury, nor legal profession.....one does not make up stuff to try and strengthen a weak defence.

Yes, under a bridge....not next to...and according to all the evidence and autopsy report, her body was placed in that position.
