Let's look at this considering the possibility that there is a mob connection. It still doesn't eliminate the possibility that each girl was targeted and/or stalked by a serial killer/client. Just because the women may have been associated with an "organized" group of pimps/drivers/bodyguards, etc does not mean that they and their ads weren't targeted by a client who is also a serial killer.

True, the woman and their drivers/pimps/bodyguards could have been recruited by the mob out of any of obvious sex trade jobs, even from their "independent" status or some may have gone independent or off the game plan (so to speak) without the blessing of the mob and then they were killed as a punishment but that doesn't necessarily preclude the killer taking some pleasure in torturing the women, calling the family members and then, out of some perverted sense of remorse or religious belief, laying them out in a ritual fashion.

There was some hints by "Mari" about SY on LISK. I know that doesn't mean much, but she seemed to imply that Dr. H might be withholding info out of fear. If Mari really thought Hackett was the killer, she might have been a little more apprehensive about going into his home with Jim Jones. If SY was the cawler to Melissa's sister, she might be able to recognize his voice from the youtube commercial of him.

Sherlock can you please give some more info as to this Youtube video. I know most of the initials but this SY is not one that I am familiar with...a little more info please... as to how this Sy fits in and where he fits into the whole picture...

I can help you with some of that info Just K. SY's name has been brought up on another site. According to one poster, I don't remember who, but seems more than likely lives in the community has mentioned some things about SY that seem suspicious. According to this poster SY...

1. Owns or runs a drug rehab
2. Married a patient
3. Married a prostitute
4. Married a Russian mail order bride
5. Married a normal girl which may have been during 2008 IIRC
6. Claims that he left OB right after the G4 were discovered
7. A poster provided a link to a forum that deals in prostitution from roughly 5 or 6 years ago. There was a post from that forum who went by the screen name of SY's full name and lives in NY who talked about how and where to go to find prostitutes in various countries.

Those are all just claims and I don't know if any of it is actual fact. What I do know is a quick search of his name shows potential addresses in NYC, Babylon, Oak Beach, Bronx. The rehab place that is linked to him is located on W. 57th street on the west side of Manhattan roughly a mile and a half from Times Square and the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

1.) Is that the same guy, who was discussed here for allegedly coded messages in his posts in several prostitution forums?

That's a strong consideration wrt a POI i've had for years in some of the missing women cases in Canada JustK ... a person with mob connections, travels extensively through western Canada, projects religious fanaticism yet hates gays, hookers, blacks, natives, etc. ... has very strong organized crime affiliations and seems feared by those lower on the ladder. What better job for a sadistic killer than to be able to rid the world and organized crime of those not considered useful to society and/or the biz?

I don't think Amanda is not old enough or experienced in life to be able to discern the subtleties of accents. Too much to expect of her and puts her on the spot. IMO. I know I would not have been able to answer that question at her age.

That's my point. The caller would have had to have an accent from a very different region (i.e. the south, MN, someone whose first lang. isn't English) in order for her to be able to say anything other than "he sounds plain". This is why I think he's most likely from NY.

I need to go back to the 1st 48 hours special. I believe that Melissa's mother was interviewed. The sister was interviewed in the last 48 hours, but I can't remember if she spoke on camera. I'll go back to check.

EDIT: Just watched it again. Her mother does speak with what sounds to me like a hybrid of the Northern Cities (i.e Chicago, N. Oh, Buff) accent and the NY accent. So to me, the killer is most likely from somewhere in NY if the voice didn't sound so different to Melissa's sister.

From what I have gathered in my quick search, it appears that SY owns property on Hawser Dr just at the end of Circle Drive. IIRC, Seeslug or another member who detailed the maps of the marsh, showed us on a map that there was an established narrow path that went straight through the marsh, from Circle Drive, to where Shannan's remains were laid out.

My guess would be that the large donation from the Friends of Steve Bellone is a transfer of money from his Town of Babylon Campaign Fund to his Suffolk County Executive Campaign Fund. There are limits on how much one person or group can contribute and that high number is probably over those limits. Probably just a transfer but I have no expertise on this.

Most posters here do just as you suggest and/or provide supporting documentation. I was speaking specifically about the Small group of posters who provide neither. IMO, when posts lack the “JMO”, “IMO” and/or documentation, things can get misconstrued. I have made the mistake myself of not clearly stating a post of mine was speculation. IMO, we need to be careful about this.

My son has one. He did it for business purposes.

It's fairly apparent that Yohay wrote his WIKI page himself. The corroborating references are very slim. "Who's Who?", for instance. This is another self-driven directory. You can insert your resume into it for a price.


This SY deserves a good hard look by law enforcement.

I see him differently, Pinkie. In my mind, he is somewhat socially awkward, shy, quiet, and non-threatening. Money and social standing? You bet. But absolutely not a casanova type. Most of these girls knew the ropes...they wouldn't have left alone with this guy, without their cell phones and without letting anyone know where they were going, unless they trusted him or thought they could physically take him if things got hairy. JMO

Or an artist and/or his associates who was/were asked, by a mother of a local female artist who died, to paint Sea Turtles.

Or the Director of an established rehab center who is offering to save you from a life on the streets.

Who would fear leaving with any of them or one of their friends or associates?

So many possible suspects... (CPH, CJA, HA, PB or associate artists, or SY)

Now, most people might fear someone like CM or that other LI SK's brother but not a good doctor, a radio show minister of sorts, an artist, a grieving "husband", or a Substance Abuse Specialist.
