This is really eye opening as evidence to support Hackett being the killer. After watching and reading a lot of the information on the case it has always bothered me that he said to the one girls mother that he ran a home for wayward girls. I feel like there is truth in the statement for who he believes he is or how he was able to get the victims to go with him. He probably fed on their vulnerabilities or wants to be better or changed people.

Funny you mentioned Jimmy Breslin. I was watching Son of Sam documentary the other night and I found it interesting that Jimmy had a dialogue w supposedly SOS via ads he placed in the newspaper. Can't recall which one but I wondered if he, or another reporter, would try and do the same w LISK.

If anyone ever listened to J Ray on LINews Radio & remembers him saying that the "body parts" that were found in Manorville, were in an area that an official vehicle would go. WH was the parks commissioner up until I believe 2019. The Parks offices are also located in Manorville/Wading River and Babylon areas (I believe) I also believe I've mentioned this before but its worth mentioning again.

When viewing his Youtube videos my "creep radar" always seems to go up but that just may be me. However, I thought I would share for anyone interested in viewing. Esp at the very end when he says..."if you're ever in the area my door is always open" lol...funny but not.

I’m of the belief that this press conference came as a response to the recently aired interview on LINewsRadio w. Guy Malone (it aired on June 14 or 15 and it can be heard on SoundCloud). Guy Malone claims that he contacted SCPD the day after the press conference about the belt, advising them that his wife at the time, Linda Malone, positively identified it as belonging to her former friend, and Guy Malone’s ex-wife Heather Malone, who had a relationship w. Burke.!He claims that SCPD basically ignored his info, and never followed up w. him again.

Thanks. I heard that interview. I'm just a little surprised, if that press conference was at all substantive, that it didn't end up as bigger news. I can also see some local electeds wanting to jump on this again as Frank MacKay has been involved in putting more stories and interviews out as of late. He's the chair of Suffolk County Independence Party. His stories sell by having local officials, who in turn jockey for that (I) line each and every November.

The belt could have been owned (i.e. purchased) by someone other than the killer; the belt was “handled” by the killer, SCPD stated. The owner, if this allegation is true, was Burke’s x-girlfriend. Malone also stated that his wife who ID’d belt named the store where it was purchased.

Also—again, this is according to Guy Malone from interview—it was not at all uncommon for his x-wife Heather to have her initials engraved/embossed on articles of clothing that she would purchase, so anyone that knew her well enough would be able to easily recognize the lettering/initials.
