Nocturnal lady: Great post and right on target IMO.

"The Anthony's in general are characterized by the charge they get out of being in a state of oppositional defiance. Narcissisim & oppositional defiant disorder often go hand in hand and the whole family has them both in spades."

This is extremely evident in the Morgan depositions. I watched portions of George's deposition again recently and struck by just what you described. His entire demeanor changed within that deposition. Once he got to the point where he began "talking back"
to the questioner, his entire body language and demeanor changed - to the point where he was exhibiting almost a "preening" type of demeanor. It is most strange to observe.

I think there's a whole lot of long-standing illness within that family.

What is Andrea Lyons passing KC in the last court hearing? I hoped I did this correct? It is on the part1 @ 1:39.

Wait a second, you got me on this one. My mind is wandering here. What in the world does she need a sketch pad and a manilla envelope for? Why 4 pens? Is she drawing? drawing maps? is she sending someone a sketch pad and a pen to get them to write to her? what the what?

Maybe she is tracing her beautiful little killer hands and taping them on the walls of her cell.

I totally agree with you. She did not look worried and neither did he. So either there was nothing said in these notes, or they know they can get them sealed. IMO

There are people who get very giddy when they are nervous. I think they have lots to be worried about. Let's just start out with the 31 days of not contacting LE about Caylee. These notes mean nothing compared to the real evidence that LE have against KC. May 9th 2011 tick tock KC!

Yes, another good example/description of how KC seems detached or 'above' the situation - not quite connected to the reality of what is happening in the moment. She is in her own world somehow. Remember how Tracy described that KC is nice and fun but talking, talking, talking always as if out of her own imagination. She was/is removed from reality to a degree. Why? What is that condition?

Dissociation such as you describe here is a common coping tool, learned at an early age in children raised by a personality disordered parent. The feelings of betrayal and feeling as if nobody cares about you from the emotional abuse of having your feelings, thoughts, dreams and fears etc. invalidated and mocked so often gets to be so much that you learn to shut off, to stop feeling. I have always been pretty vocal in my opinion that I don't think that Casey is a psycho/sociopath. IMO It's not that she doesn't feel or can't feel (as would be the case with psycho/sociopaths) she just forgot how. For so long not associating herself with what her true reality is was the only way she knew how to protect herself so it became a habit.. then an instinct.

Not to mention learning by example.. her mother lived in a fantasy land, created her own world and we see how people who don't go along with what she wants reality to be are treated.

IMO

haha just like the gaurd broke the rules by clicking on the microphone to listen to jb and kc. No big deal right? The guards taking Kc to the tv to watch her daughter get discovered. No big deal right? Now this, the gaurd breaking the rules to entrap Kc. No big deal right? So, when does the judge put his foot down and stop this stuff? why have rules? what is the point? why does kc have to give her letters to jb to pass to her parents? Are any of the rules in the jail houses written into law?

In her new environment, there are rules and regulations she MUST follow, NTS. This time it's only a letter, what if next time is drugs or a weapon? Luckily this CO didn't do something considered illegal that would get her arrested. Could be she may only get a slap on the wrist or a suspension for a little while but the CO allowed Inmate Anthony and that other inmate to break the rules of the jail. Without rules/regulations we be lawless, which is what I feel the A's family stands for, LAWLESSNESS!

I don't understand how sometimes you back Inmate Anthony and at other times you're against what she stands for. Why not have an open mind, see that the parents are knee deep into conspiracy and feel the law doesn't apply to THEM! They refuse to be Caylee's voice, that angers the hell out of me.

As they said, Inmate Anthony was arrested on a WHIM...a whim? Do they not know it's against the law to lie to police during an investigation? These people beat to their own drummer and think the law doesn't apply to them, their "mistruths" speak volumes.

I can't speak for that microphone click you mention but as far as her reaction to "remains" being found, would go to presense of mind/state of mind, shows guilt, IMO for before anyone knew those remains were Caylee's, Imate Anthony knew because she knew where she put her! I don't understand why you give the Anthony family a free pass, for everything they do and have done goes against the grain, IMO, with them it's trying to free an alleged murderess all to save face! Has nothing to do with justice, at least for them and I feel they have and repeatedly show a huge disrespect and dishonor to Caylee, remember Caylee??? That's what this is, getting justice for a precious child who couldn't defend herself. They are the poster children for how not to act when a child goes missing..dispicable!

Justice for Caylee!

These are commissary items that any inmate can purchase. Maybe she likes to draw and keeps her copies in the manilla envelope. She can also get books to read. The girl has to do something while she is in there 24/7 with no one to talk to. If she were writing letters I would think she would use a regular writing pad. And the 4 pens may be in a package as they are often sold that way in the stores. I would imagine she could go through them pretty fast. JMO

Well I can go with that since I have a friend that was in prison for 8 months and he said thats all he did was draw. So it must at least be something to do. I would like her to sketch Zanny Samantha Jefferey and Juliet though.

sketching hearts and skulls perhaps?

Y E E A H:) Powerful stuff there, LiveLaughLuv! This is one of those times the thanks button just isn't enough.
It's all about this little gal with the huge, soulful eyes. She deserved so much better

Oh, I don't think we would get much information from the drawing of a stick person. My guess is she is designing her next tattoo. My guess is it would be on the order of "If I could go back and change one day in my life." JMO

Hasn't it been 5 days? Shouldn't have Jb put in a motion for extension on the seal by now?

Why would JB want a delay there is nothing in those letters pertaining to Caylee? Don't you remember KC writing "Trust no one, but yourself". Do you really think she had a change of heart, and spilled something about her involvement in Caylee's murder?

This case is like a book. Every month another chapter is written that has nothing to do with Caylee. This month we have a couple of Chapters-RC Having an Affair with GA. Then we have-Letters Written by KC to Another Inmate. Then it's-RC Tries to Kill Herself and lastly we have-J. Cheney Mason Joins the Defense Team Just For Fun. What is wrong with these people? I don't understand why Caylee is not the focus of this case. GA having affairs has nothing to do with this case. RC mental state is sad, but again it has nothing to do with this case. J. Cheney Mason is a retired attorney who made his millions, and now he just wants to have some fun at Caylee's expense. Let's get on with deposing these witnesses, and get this case moving forward.

(Respectfully)Nah. She doesn’t have Dissociative Identity Disorder. She is “out of it” because she chooses to live in her own self-delusion. Her behavior is textbook Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Caylee looks so happy. How could anyone hurt that little angel? My heart breaks every time I look at her pictures or hear her voice.

Probably drawing or keeping a journal of some sort. Protective custody/segregation is pretty boring.

Well, it's supposed to be boring! It's jail ! Casey doesn't get that yet (or care to) so she's found away to pass the time by breaking jail rules and passing notes ... why am I not surprised ... I keep forgetting rules don't apply to Casey Marie only to the other dumb prisoners .... isn't she supposed to be on probation ? Does anybody know if there would be a harsh punishment because of that?:nono:

I think these letters were written prior to her becoming a convicted felon and the mandated probation. If that's the case I don't think they would fall under a parole violation. :waitasec:

Good point I hadn't thought of ... I think they should at least take her paper and pens away and maybe even her pork rinds and bean dip ? ;)

bold is mine-
No kidding!!

Yeah, the day she got caught.

I took the time to read the whole thread so far and enjoyed everyone's posts. I was a trustee at both the county and state levels, sad to say.

In all me posts and blogs here at WS I portray the guards in what I feel to be a truthful way. The vast majority are professional guys and gals who do their shift and go home. That being said, there is a minority that make vast sums of cash 'running things in', especially at the county level. Rant, rave, stick your fingers in your ears and go 'la la la la' but one fact remains, at the county level the overwhelming majority of contraband is introduced into the population by the guards. As far as letters go, that is the toss up. We would write our girlfriends or family, in a real code **ahem**, and have it done that way. I am not sure that Casey has anyone that she could trust enough to do that for her on the outside. Some guards, usually newbies, can be real softees. Punch in 'guard, scandal, female prisoners' into Google or your favourite search engine and see what I mean.

This is not to knock guards. Far from it, I could not imagine doing that for a living. This is aimed more towards the image of incarceration portrayed by TV and movies. Guards are human beings, no more and no less. Some dig the power, some are lifelong bullies who have turned that into a career, but most are just putting food on the table and working their way through this world as honestly as they can. Casey probably found a softee, IMHO.

O/T Thank you ThommyMac! My son is a corrections officer and he is one of the good ones. Thank you for understanding that not all are cut from the same mold. Your words mean even more considering your experiences. So from the proud Mom of a CO - thank you again!
