anticipation! casey writing her thoughts or feelings is not going to help her one bit i feel. if she is just chit chatting over nothing, the food, the boredom , the uncomfort level of 33rd steet jail- its so trivial. if she writes of bitterness, blames others, complains of how unfair life is to her without a trace of remorse for her daughter and family- shes lost the empathy level from others. if she writes of how much she misses caylee and how she can not live another day in grief she hides , would we be more sympathetic? if someone told her write letters knowing they would someday be released and read she should have been told write how much you loved caylee, how much you were scared you would never see her again and how terrified you were to tell anyone you had no idea were caylee was cause you trusted someone to watch her while she partied. she could say she partied cause SHE KNEW caylee was in a safe place with someone she trusted who betrayed her. i know-- unreal words but zanny the nanny was a try. those letters could have been her salvation, but doubt they will say much to help her. we will wait to see. jmo i would not want to be her or her family-- too sad for everyone who loved or cared about caylee= include those she never even knew .

I too agree with the posters re JB and acting like this is no big deal.
I think the letters are going to show how angry, immature and selfish she is. I would bet they are going to focus on her and probably her parents.

Respectfully bolded by me. I totally agree. It'll be all about her, and how her parents have wronged her. I'd bet Caylee won't be mentioned at all. Poor baby.

I think we won't see anything of the inner-workings of KC's mind in these letters. I think they were written for a single purpose--to be seen and released to the public. I expect drivel with a few self-serving references to how hard KC's life was with her controlling, irrational parents. (Mitigation Specialist, anyone?)

I don't know if I believe that these letters were purposely written? RA's didn't even want to turn these letters over. I believe she thought she could sell them in the future... but, I don't think she had any intention to hand them over to LE.

I keep going back to how much Casey used her phone a day. The girl loves to talk. She can't help herself.

I think it is just another thing (a rule broken) that Casey thought she could get away with.

I'm looking forward to reading the letters like others here but am thinking they may not hold much more than Casey spinning a fantasy plan on what will happen when she's able to get out of jail. Much like her tale of Cindy giving her the house etc. She may talk about money she'll be making on a movie of her life, who should be playing her, how much her lawyer just loves her and he's got some important information/tricks that will get her free, and how she can't wait to get this part out of the way and she'll move far away and begin living that beautiful life. She'll be bragging about the people she gets letters from (especially those who send money)
The letters will be all about her and her big plans, she must keep stroking her ego. I'm not expecting truth or confession of any type, nor any deep thoughts, Casey is all about smoke and mirrors.

I think we WILL see the inner workings of Casey's mind. There are some pretty astute armchair psychologists here at WS who will pick apart each and every line, telling us more about how she thinks, giving us clues into her psyche.

I totally and respectfully disagree, these letters were never meant to be seen by the public (at lease by Casey).

I fully expect drivel and self serving statements, etc. But even the drivel will speak volumes.

It shouldn't affect it too much, the courthouse is on Orange Ave, but it's a fair distance from the water main break. Besides, they are routing traffic around on the side roads. However, it was a headache this morning and it'll likely be one during this evening's rush hour since they are saying it likely won't be fixed in time. :banghead:

What happened to the top-secret status, the damning evidence of these letters. I tend to are that JB is overlooking something. I'm definitely looking forward to another peak inside this ruthless person's mind. That's the main reason I think she'll never face the DP. People are curious what goes on behind those big round brown eyes, and that could go to a video store and out to eat, when you know what was going on!

:laugh: Sorry, I shouldn't laugh, but it just sounded so funny when you asked that. The girl is up on charges for murdering her own young, dishonoring her parents is probably the least of her sins.
