This is not Juan's first rodeo. I just imagine he has had this figured out for a long while. Don't underestimate this man.

Now the visual I have in my mind is Juan at a rodeo riding some wild and crazy bull, bucking around trying to toss him off and Juan man-handling that bull like it's no big deal. Then dismounting totally cool and calm, commenting quietly, "This isn't my first rodeo". :great:

But did you look at the feedback left on this? It looks like they bid so they could leave feedback to inform everyone that she is selling "cold-blooded killer artwork". :floorlaugh:
"Grace Kelly"
A Beautiful Portrait of American Actress Grace Kelly

This drawing is an original drawing and it is part 1 of 3 different 50's collection drawings by Jodi Arias. The next 2 that will be listed in the future are Frank Sinatra and Lucille Ball.

It is drawn with colored pencils on cardboard.

This drawing will come framed and matted.

I am also selling other drawings from this talented artist.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I will be considering all offers, thank you for looking.

Jodi thanks everyone that has helped during these tough times. Please continue to pray for her family and for Travis' family.

From what I've heard so far it seems to me that defense did not want to see CH on the stand and that may be why they wanted it under seal and could have asked the judge not to include Martinez. If this is what happened I'm surprised at the judge but she did not look happy at all from the last video I saw. To me if there is nothing to hide why hide it. jmo

The motion wasn't filed ex parte (one side only), it was filed under seal (non public records).

Also, the prosecution asked for the late added witness, Gus Searcy, to be made available during the week break to be deposed. I believe this is where the prosecutor got the information from regarding the text message.

Oh BTW it was the same Chris Hughes who compiled Travis' memorial video Nurse kindly keeps posting on page one. I think it goes a very long way in showing how deeply Travis was loved.

While I am not one to try a case by media, Isn't all the bashing of Jodi without knowing the defense evidence character assasination? (your words not mine)

I am just not going to ride the Travis train until all the evidence is heard.
I am entitled to my own opinion even if it differs from your opinion. ]
I am simply saying that all the media hype about his character is contradicted by his anal sex theory. ESPECALLY, when he is being characterized as a great Morman. ESPECALLY, when he helped convert her to Mormonism and baptized her. In my church, their is responsibility with those whom you "bring in." To me, that is a big red flag.

You and Lotus Pawprint both have a valid point. A church leader should not engage in that behavior. However, Mormonism is not on trial. Neither is Travis. He is dead. Jodi lied twice about the murder and then said she did it but it was self defense. This is about cold blooded premeditated felony murder.....regardless of who went to church where.

Yahoo is not a browser but perhaps you are using Internet Explorer. Go to your menu at the top and click on Help and then About. There you can find out the name and version of your browser.

All I could see was Explorer 9?

I hope not, as that would most likely be against their admonishment. If the judge wanted them to see what went on in the hearing, they'd be there.

Edit: They just showed the judge pretty much restating to not watch anything relating to the case on HLN.

Agreed and no kidding. But knowing human nature, there is no way I will believe that not a single juror has a peek at any media.

Can someone explain about the BMW? I am not sure what the BMW payments or loan is all about. Did she wreck his car and owe him for it or something?

I'm thinking DT's motion was on an issue they couldn't bring up directly bc it falls under attorney-client privilege (no-one will EVER know what was said in that case). More than likely JA told DT something and they only way they could get it in was to have the person say it himself. That is going to do nothing but p*ss the Judge off if every witness DT calls has nothing of any relevance to say.
I'm sure Juan was given a redacted copy of the Motion and was able to conclude he'd need to call Chris.

So are you saying Juan knew who the wit was, and had al the info available to him about the text, and exactly what would be argued?
In that case, no wonder he knew to call a rebuttal wit? No one from the DT anticipated that??

:seeya: You weren't here that last short day of testimony when the prosecutor rested! And I've been gone since then. Hope we're on the same schedule for this next phase...it's gonna be a bumpy ride with this defense! :what:

haha, no kidding! I was kind of here, just back in lurkdom for a while.

I keep reminding myself that the defense will always use any kind of "smoke and mirrors" to distract from the bottom line. I hope everyone is able to keep their eye on the ball, in this case. It's gonna be tough to take.

Was this self-defense? Was this pre-meditated? Was this heinous (for DP portion)? THOSE are the questions that need to be answered to me. I don't care how they enjoyed sex, I don't care if the bullet wound came first (he has defensive wounds on his hands, and stabs in the back, and many wounds while he was still alive, so what difference does it make--still overkill to the n-th degree), I don't care if he was a 'saint' or a 'player.'

These things are all smoke and mirrors to me, and distract from the relevant issues. Also, if the gunshot came BEFORE all of the stabs and slit throat, that seems even MORE heinous, IMO. If it came last after he was dead, then it was one less painful wound that he had to endure. Anyhoo...

Like I said, there is no proof of anal sex, and if there was, we don't know who's idea it was do we? Sex between consenting adults is not illegal last time I checked.

Not sure what you are getting at, but destroying Travis' character is not going to save this murderers life.

I don't understand why Travis Alexander has to be considered perfect and above reproach for Jodi to be guilty of murdering him in a cruel & heinous way. Aren't we all imperfect? Even if he WAS having a secret-sex-relationship with her and even if he DID invite her to his house that fateful night, how does that diminish him as a victim? The crime scene spells it out.

Plus we just do not know what was in TA's head at the time. It is possible he was at a crossroad in his life as to whether or not he wanted to remain a Mormon or leave because of their restrictions. We just do not know and trying to discredit him on the sex issue serves no point. We don't know what he was thinking right up to the time he died. His death was pointless. But his life meant something to a lot of people which is evident. The only ones going to bat for Jodi seem to be people with their own set of problems and they don't appear to be very good witnesses. jmo

I think both are by now excommunicated just on the basis of premarital sex. I don't know whether the church is known for making public announcements like this.

and  ohay dear friend!

Gosh I hope it is not true that Travis is excommunicated. I would hope that death that happens before you have time to learn from your mistakes or repent and change, or whatever it is that is required in that faith, means he is not now excluded from his faith. That would really be heart breaking.

This board is too feisty and serious in some sections -- thanks for the lighthearted post & fantastic visual!!! YEEEEEEEE HAW!!!!! :floorlaugh:

Didn't get to watch the motion today. Y'all have covered it pretty well though. Thanks. I may have missed this but has it come out if Jodi brought the lubricant with her? I'm wondering if it was one of the items she purchased on the way. Can't really tell from the photo if it looks to be an almost new, hardly used tube or not. I know this is a weird question.

In listening again to her interview with Flores, the way she said, "I trashed his car", it made me think it may have been intentional, or at least that she got some satisfaction from it. Possibly as a way to keep herself in his life?

Her story was that the engine was damaged when she pulled it behind her U-Haul, and she was continuing to make payments to T.

Pretty much, yes :great:

BBM - Thanks just wasn't enough and this can't be repeated enough.
