This issue is timing. It was completely out of place when he did it, and unnecessary at that specific point in the trial.

Matter of opinion......yes, the image was terrible but that is what JA did to TA and why she is on trial. What she did to him should not be hidden because its difficult to look at. After all, the DT is trying very hard to make TA appear to have been a sexual deviate.
Hope the P continues to show the way he died.
Her third story claiming self defense is far worse to me than reminding everyone

Technical penis picture thoughts:

1) Juan can call his own expert to say where this picture came from (internet, downloaded from a device like a camera, etc)

2) Juan can call witnesses to testify that Jodi had his passwords

3) why send a picture of a penis to a girl that is currently in your house? Makes no sense at all. Travis was most likely sleeping or out of the room. Remember that bit about a little bit of truth is always in a lie: she said on 48 hours they were "looking at pictures on discs that she brought".. so basically most likely Jodi was sending a picture to herself of something she prepared ahead of time. I am curious to know what type of file the penis picture came from.

4) external drive was damaged: so he does this right before he is slaughtered. right. and who damages their external drive right before they are murdered?

5) defense opened the door and I hope the SA slams it in their face.

I just rewatched today's testimony. (start at 28 min if you are interested) The second hard drive was a 2.5" internal hard drive - the type that comes from a laptop (which means it was not portable) - and it came with a bag of parts. It was never stated from where it came. We don't know from which computer nor from whose computer. Neither the defense attorney nor the witness states anything about the origin of the internal drive or bag of parts.

I just have to say something...I am a 50 year old grandmother with 3 grown sons and a 2 year old granddaughter been married since I was 18 years old. My husband and I have STILL have phone sex, sexting, have taken pictures and have toys....what about that is dirty and why would any of that give me the right to murder my husband in cold blood (which IMO is what happened). I turn on the TV tonight and see these "professionals" talking about JA and TA having a salacious sex life and TA is a sexual deviant and he is sex craxzed.... REALLY???????????????? Except for the fact that he was a mormon and it was obviously frowned upon as a mormon, I think they were just normal adults with a pretty normal sex life. I guess the defense has to do something with whatever evidence they have but their/his sex just does not seem all of that out of control.

What TA and JA were doing sexually was perfectly normal and not even in the realm of deviant, just as you and your husband (btw bravo to you and your hubby for maintaining a healthy sex life after over 30 years of marriage, children, and grandchildren :clap: ). Role playing, anal sex, oral sex...all pretty darn normal, even "vanilla" by some peoples standards. It seems that the defense it trying to frame TA as deviant in the social standard of the Mormon community rather than the standard of society as a whole. Which IMHO goes against all the values we have as Americans not to impose religious beliefs/standards on others (even when they may identify as that religion).

Dworkin the Comuter Forensics guy on the stand, did not have to raise the photos to display them in that fashion for all to see, seems it was part of the plan, he's no rookie, he knows it is the Defense job to show photos. If the DT forgot the exhibit number he could had handed them over without flashing them. He looks like a doofus holding them both up in his hands with a smirk on his face.

She made every effort to make sure that she was not identified with being at his house.

So why mail those pictures to herself unless she was hoping that it would be thought that some unknown lovers got into a fight with TA?

Remember, there was no Ninja story or self defense story at the time.

The only story concocted was that in no way was she there.

BTW, I do not believe that the pics of her in the camera were done by her. She was not supposed to be at his house, so to take pics of herself would serve no purpose. The camera was new, so no way would he have pics of her from a previous time months ago. She could not claim that.

I do believe TA was circumcised. There were pics from the camera from 6/4 that show him naked with an erection (it was blacked out in some of the photos but others showed it w/out censor) and I don't recall it being uncircumcised (that would have stood out to me).

She's right though. Jodi's early family life may look perfect to outsiders, but many people hide their dark family issues. People with the same brain abnormalities as psychopaths do not become psychopaths if they are not exposed to abuse.

I'm way behind in the threads, but I had to bump this up as I so disagree with you. Family environment has never been found to be a catalyst for psychopathy. Eric Harris is a perfect example - upper middle class kid who was well looked after all of his life. Despite the myths around Columbine he was never really an outcast, and was never bullied any more than any other kid in a High School environment. How about Joran van der Sloot? Was HE abused in any way? No. These are budding psychopaths who if anything were spoiled and given way too much privilege without earning it. Hmmm, kinda sounds like a Florida convict that we all know too.

Psychopaths are born with a brain that is different from ours. Using MRI's to map out how their brain is different is a science that is still in it's infancy. I can't remember the doctor's name, but there is a doctor who opened a clinic (I think in Nevada? not sure now), who travels to the various prisons in a portable MRI unit and does brain scans of the most likely candidates in the prison to be psychopaths. His findings are very interesting. I'll try to find it if I can and post the link if it's allowed.

It's all good.

I just had to manually install my second SSD in this one and lost my optical drive as a result (the platter drive now resides in the optical drive bay). If there was an option that I missed, I was gonna think about putting my tax return towards a new one! :giggle:
