Tim Miller: Possible Lawsuit against Casey

It wasn't actually in the first 2 days, it was a month and 2 days after Caylee disappeared. I think it's very unlikely that even the best tracking dog could follow the trail of a person who was taken away in a car more than a month after it happened.

and lets not forget tropical storm faye( or was she a hurricane?) anyhow "faye" dumped a massive(perhaps record setting??)amount of rain in the area..( i cant however remember when faye came thru the orlando area, if it was before or after the discovery of caylee "missing" that july 15th-ish when the car at the tow yard, the ball of poo started to hit the fan.) i know ( again IIRC) when tim and co were searching, there was water down in the area ( STILL!- i remember TM stating he did not want to take horses or 4 wheelers down in the area, fear of remains being buried under the mud.) where caylee would ulitmately be discovered. he could not get down there where she was.( iirc) bloodhounds are good, but i dont think they can hit on remains scent under signficant amount of water. MOO

Hurricane Fay came through Florida on August 15th. KC was released on bail August 21, 2008.

If memory serves correctly, Faye came shortly after Roy Kronk's calls were dismissed in August.

oh man oh man, talk about coulda shoulda woulda...(if only they had check out mr kronks first call, ( which was appx 8-11-ish.) then maybe there would still be fca fingerprints, something to tell HOW caylee perished. wow. fca, in a way had a horseshoe up her...um yeah.
so of course, with that being said, faye arrived appx 8-15, fca home on bail 8-21, so is that when tim / equusearch came on board? if so there would still be that flood waters down there.

Only this one might truly have been an accidental death which was covered up, unlike Casey who wanted her child dead and made it happen...:furious:

I just don't believe accidental deaths are covered up.Not unless the "accident" was abuse. Instinct is to save your child ,even if it's too late. To cover up an accident would mean mom had it together enough to set aside her shock ,grief and anguish and come up with a plan, right after she found her baby dead.Do you know what it's like to have your child die suddenly and unexpectedly?

If the parent is so uncaring that they would throw their child's body away ,without seeking help, they could also be uncaring enough to commit abuse or murder. JMO

I completely agree. No normal, loving, non-abusive mother would ever cover up her child's accidental death, for any reason.

There's a difference between cadaver dogs and tracking dogs. Some dogs are able to track even if you left by car. Bloodhounds are particularly sensitive when it comes to tracking. My guess is once the search of the yard was completed they put the dogs in the vehicles. I'm not an expert on the dogs but I know if Tim asked for something of Caylee's to track they were considering using a tracking dog and starting from the house. jmo

Can you tell us where you are getting your info? I hesitate to say this to a long time friend, but ,link please?
They follow shed skin cells ,from what I was taught and a closed up car isn't going to leave a trail,is it?
Did Tim Miller ever verify that he asked for an item for tracking?
After almost 2 months the wind scatters cells,etc...... I'm all for learning more about how it works ,tracking by car .JMO,I'm not a SAR expert

That is what I recall too, tracking dogs follow the shed skin cells, so small that we can't see them. A body, whether alive or dead, transported in a car would not leave a trail of cells.

we dont actually KNOW that OCA didnt transport caylee by walking down the street with the bags, though. it obvs was close enough to walk. I dont know how heavy a dead toddler would be as I've never be so unfortunate. I can carry quite a load in a bag slung over my shoulder though. perhaps TM thought the same and thought it worth a try at least.

Hurricane Fay came through Florida on August 15th. KC was released on bail August 21, 2008.

Faye was a tropical storm. It rained & poured & rained & poured non-stop for many days. It was miserable trying to go anywhere, do anything. Lakes over-flowed into peoples homes, roads were underwater. Faye never had a chance to develop into a hurricane, but it was a lesson for us locals . . . never underestimate the storm. I heard that the flooding damage cost us more than when hurricane Charley came through a few years before.

As for the dates, you have a good memory! Sounds right. I can only remember JB escorting his client out under a black umbrella, and wishing that Faye would rip away his umbrella & give them both a good soaking.

I looked that information up on the internet. lol It has a more accurate memory than me.

Those tiny skin cells are carried off in the wind, even in a car. I read this about tracking dogs. Some of the articles are very, very interesting. jmo

Well I am thinking then the 2nd day after the 911 call. Of course the dogs would have tracked decomposition which was just down the street.
After the fact we know they would never have found a live Caylee with a piece of clothing or a stuffed animal. They did have the decomp smell to work with. I know it is hard for LE to do their job when the family is accusing
them of jumping to conclusions on T.V. but I bet many now will just ignore families like this and search in the direction they feel the info leads them and in this situation decomp was the lead of the day.
Poor Caylee what a family she was stuck with.

On July 17th, Gerus alerted to the trunk of the Pontiac, and also alerted to a spot near Caylee's playhouse in the Anthony's backyard. Bones another cadaver dog, also alerted near Caylee's playhouse. The following day neither dog alerted near the playhouse, nor anywhere else in the backyard.

The second day, which would have been July 18th, and this of course, is a coulda, shoulda, woulda, type thing, had they walked these two dogs around the corner to the wooded area, and simply walked the woodline, which would have been the most logical place to start a search, this was before Tropical Storm Faye, and just over 4 weeks since Caylee went missing. Walking the woodline, with the remains 10 feet or less from that woodline, there would have been a very strong possibility of one of the two dogs alerting.

Since the dogs alerted in the backyard, and since Gerus alerted on the trunk, LE had to then be strongly considering the possibility that Caylee was already dead. LE also knew at this point that the leads to ZFG and Sawgrass Apartment were false. I realize they were following leads KC had given them, however, LE usually follows leads they discover independently of what witnesses tell them. For instance, the cadaver dogs alerting in the backyard. Since, historically, many missing and deceased children are found in wooded areas near the home, logically, it would seem that they would have independantly searched the wooded area less than a quarter of mile from the Anthony home, regardless of what KC and the Anthony's had told them, because usually, LE is very thorough. It really is too bad that this did not happen, and that Gerus or Bones did not find Caylee's remains on July 18th, because the verdict may have yielded a different result if they had.

As always, my entire post is my opinion only.

Not sure why pressure should have been on LE to take a walk with the dogs when they had no idea where Caylee was and all it would have taken was for KC to tell the truth. Plus we are going OT here. TM had a reason to ask for the clothing to give to their tracking dogs. It was not because he thought it was a good way to "waste" TES's money. jmo

I think there is no way OCA hauled the decomposing remains of Caylee even the short distance down the street to where she dumped her.

It was reported that the decomp in the car trunk was consistent with a body that had been decomposing for 2 or 3 days. Apparently Casey drove all over town with Caylee in the car, she didn't go directly from home to the area down the street where Caylee was found.

LE donated $5,000 to help TES. I would assume that upon TM's arrival, LE shared all information with him about what search efforts LE had done, to assist TM in formulating his search plans. Whether LE told TM about RK's alleged sighting of what looked like a human skull, I don't know, but it seems to me that would be information TM would have been interested in.

As far as TES, and the civil suit, I hope that TES wins, and I hope KC gets an interview or book deal that pays enough to pay off the IRS, the state of Florida, TES and ZFG (if she loses the civil suits).

If her defense team is really trying to improve her image, depending on how much she gets from an interview or a book deal, they may tell her to consider not only giving TES the $125,000 for the civil suit, but donating an additional $125,000 to TES. Of course, many would consider an additional donation to TES proof that KC has a guilty conscience.

As always, my entire post is my opinion only

IMO, tracking dogs at that point would have been a waste, a huge waste. Tim knew the car smelled like decomp. He knew he was searching for a dead body, in spite of his claims that Casey fooled him by claiming Caylee was alive. He needed cadaver dogs.

Is there a link to Cindy refusing to give Tim an item of Caylee's? I've only seen that mentioned here and I've noticed that sometimes information from here is not always totally accurate or fairly presented.

Rumour has it, she just might have a book deal on the horizon.

Casey won't be doing any interviews until after the suits are resolved, if ever. There's nothing she can say that won't work against her in court.
