Since I am being personally attacked here and called a racist. I deleted my post. Please delete it from the quotes. :furious:

Seriously........it is what it is. You should have let it stand. If I wanted to know if there were any common friends in this pile of players, I'd want an accurate description. That's all it was, a description. Thanks for trying to help.

I would like to know why it is "alleged" that this is Timmy and his wife based on the news article? :waitasec: What if it is someone totally different?

Patty, SS was asking if this "could" be Timmy and Chelsea. She never said it was. Yet, it seems to be them. What other Timmy and Chelsea do you know of that are associated with Haleigh's case?

They have not mentioned any names.......but since they moved to that area, it's probably them. But I do see what Patty is saying.

In any case, if LE thought there was any real possibility that Haleigh might be at this location (with whomever) and she might be located, then wouldn't it make sense to send PCSO personnel to the location? Specifically because of identification of the child. Who would be appropriate to make an arrest, if the child were found? PCSO personnel? Local LE? Either of these? Would it be necessary to bring in the FBI if she were found, since obviously, she would have crossed state lines.
I don't mean to jump the gun, here, since they are probably just asking questions. But, it does raise questions in my mind about how it would be handled if she were found. I really don't know, but maybe some of the posters more versed in LE protocols would be able to answer.

SS...

I did not find your post racist in any way! Don't sweat it! :blowkiss:

If every investigation called for omitting the color of a person's skin, what a mess we would have!

And for the record..

Just after I moved to Mobile, I learned very quickly some black people take offense to being called "African American". I was informed one time, by a very well spoken outstanding young black man that he is not from Africa, he is American. He said in reference to his status, "Black American" would suit him just fine. :)

As for Haleigh? If directing this group of sleuthers to the color of a possible perp's skin will aid in bringing this precious little girl home, I say pull out your paintbrushes folks! Whether it be black, white, red, yellow, brown...

IMO

 Rj said he saw a man in black or according to Crystal...a black man...come in and take Haleigh. So I was pointing out there is a black guy associated with Timmy and with Misty (she is friends on his myspace, too). He would also know Haleigh, imo. Race doesn't have ANYTHING to do with this case. I am talking about what Rj said he saw at the time.

Hasn't the veracity of RJ's statements been in question all along since people kept stating that it was his mother leading him to say it (Even though GGM said it first). Puzzling and more puzzling. Now it holds water????

I would like to know why it is "alleged" that this is Timmy and his wife based on the news article? :waitasec: What if it is someone totally different?

Because some of us knew a few months ago Chelsea had moved back home to MA. That's why the person posted the article.

I hope this isn't the first time they've been question.

It seems to me that they must have been questioned about the van and the cousin staying with them, and I assume that all the relatives were asked about their relationship with Haleigh and what they knew about Misty and Ron's household etc.

Timmy got several rankings higher up on my suspect list when Misty said that he was the one relative that she could trust and who would always be there for her (or something to that effect). It made him sound like her go-to guy if she ever needed help to cover up an accident or something. Also the way she described him as beyond all suspicion of course immediately sounded suspicious to me, given it was Misty saying so. And he had access to the van and the blanket.

I'm so glad that there are new developments in this case. Who knows if it will lead to anything but at least there's news now and not that blank non-information. Someone is doing something and it's not abandoned as a cold case yet.

The article says state police Sgt. Robert Finacom said. He referred all other questions to Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe.

Do most District Attorney's from another state get involved?Unless there will be an arrest.Maybe some one started talking.

I need to go check a my-space message that someone left on cousin Joe's my-space about FL. I think it was from a female not Misty. It had to do with a trip to Fl. I wonder since they have referred all other questions to Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe they have gotten a break in the case. Does anyone know if there has been an update on the truck? I think it was said the truck belong to Tommy? Or am I getting the names mixed up?

Deputies from a Florida sheriff's office questioned the local couple yesterday afternoon at the South Yarmouth state police barracks in relation to the Feb. 10 disappearance of Haleigh Cummings, state police Sgt. Robert Finacom said. He referred all other questions to Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe. The case has received national attention, but there have been no arrests. http://www.capecodonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090906/NEWS/909060323

p.s., how is it people on a message board know that someone they've never met had a C-section???????

What people find out about others is astounding!!!!!

I believe the District Attorney can also offer immunity for a persons testimony or information given?

I don't understand what you disagree with. Too much cost for two officers to go there? It's a missing child. If the PD can't spend two thousand or less for a trip like this it's crazy. Times are tough, but they did receive monies for searches etc..I read somewhere. Timmy is an important one to interview as well as Chelsea now that Misty has "spoken". Very important people in finding Haleigh. JMO

actually it wouldnt even cost them that much. For one investigator it would costs approx $500-$600 including hotel, airfair & a car rental. I should know, I just got reimbursed for an overnight to Baltimore....by NW Air. So, I think its an over estimation about cost. Besides, there are discounts involved. MOO

I'm really glad they are investigating, perhaps the new eyes will lead to a break and bring HaLeigh home. I suspect LE reads here.

You are right about the truck; apparently Tommy Croslin did own it but according to Misty, Tommy sold it after Hank Sr apparently made a deal with him to keep the truck so Hank Sr could use it to attend medical appointments. Hank Sr allegedly gave Tommy $500 to keep the truck, but Tommy sold it after HaLeigh went missing. Timmy and Chelsea, who lived in Crescent City when HaLeigh disappeared, had borrowed the van that Lindsy owns. This van was moved, scratched, and had debris in the grille while it was at Timmy and Chelsea's home the night Haleigh went missing. They said they had a guest that night, cousin Joe, but whether or not Brandon was with Joe during his trip to TN is unclear to me.

The truck did belong to Tommy who sold it right after Haleigh went missing and Tim found it. (So she must have been telling the truth about the truck.) He said it was still in Lisa's name as it had not been transferred over and LE took it in to examine it for evidence.

I don't understand why they would refer the case to the DA's office there either. I do hope it is a break. Including the DA sounds like charges are being filed or being anticipated in some way. It doesn't make a lot of sense if not. Since when does the DA's office run interference for LE?

Yup, I read "could it be" in the post. Just asking because of the title of the thread says "Timmy and Chelsea" not "Could It Be Timmy and Chelsea?"

We didn't have a thread on them and I thought it was a good idea especially after Misty brought them up again. Having the possibility it was Timmy and Chelsea being interviewed, it seemed natural to include the article. Yes, I do believe it is probably them since they would be the logical choice of people who moved back to that area in July and are also related to Haleigh. The interview was definitely related to the case as stated by LE. It would make no sense for PCSO to go clear to MA to interview people on a whim without specific cause or to interview relatives who would not have first hand knowledge of what went on in the Satsuma area at the time she went missing.

We know very little about Timmy and Chelsea to date. It is time we checked into them a bit more, imo. As people come up in the investigation, we should follow it up here.

Because some of us knew a few months ago Chelsea had moved back home to MA. That why the person posted the article.

I do recall it mentioned that there was this move but I never saw how we actually knew they moved. I am this "fact" type person, so I have to see it. Do we have a change of address, or was it in the newspaper? Just trying to pull in some loose ends.

Clearly I do not understand the general problem with having this thread or trying to sleuth out the family members of the one person that Law Enforcement label as having inconsistent stories? Why aren't people thrilled that LE is going to great lengths to question ANY PERSON that may have information in this case. Where am I?....lol. I am happy when I wake up in the morning and see a new thread that I can open up that might contain news. This is about finding Haleigh Cummings.....please let's find Haleigh and not complain when new avenues are ventured down.

I was a little confused by all the nitpicking so can I ask please if we have any other news link that I could read about this trip? Am I to understand that people with questions are being asked to refer those questions to the DA's office? Thank you in Advance....
