Well now you got me thinking. Where did we hear about Crescent City? Grr. I have always thought they were from Crescent City, sheesh where did I hear this info? I will have to go and look it up now, this is like when I can't find something in my house and it bugs me and then I can't stop looking for it until I get my hands on it!
one thing though, another poster said on the "cousin" thread that locals called Crescent City ....Pomona Park...

aren't these two separate places? I googled mapped both locations and they don't look to be the same place. :waitasec:
map here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sou...-81.510629&sspn=0.013325,0.01929&ie=UTF8&z=13
if you look at that map....I don't like that area at all....the water!! Wonder if this lake was searched...
They are two separate places. Crescent City is an actual small town with PD, downtown businesses, shopping center. Pomona Park is like Satsuma and Fruitland - an unincorporated area of South Putnam County. I'm not sure how they determine the boundaries of these bumps in the road.
FWIW - 100 years ago, Pomona Park was an actual town, iirc. [See "The River Flows North - A History of Putnam County" by Brian Michaels, or maybe wikipedia or Floripedia.]
I'm sure that in the past I have stated "same difference", but that's just to a "citified" "northern" girl like me. lol
Someone had posted a myspace for Chelsea last year. Dunno if it was legit or not, but Chelsea said on there that she and Timmy had just moved into a house in Palatka.
