I’m 4 pages behind so hopefully we haven’t recently discussed this! Sorry if it’s a repeat.

Have we figured out where MB and EB live(d)? Who they live with? Has a search warrant ever been executed on MB’s or AB’s homes?

IIRC, there were reports of a police presence at TB’s home. I think the police only commented on it because there were rumors they were digging on the property and they denied that. I don’t remember what they said they were doing there specifically. The link is probably on the media page.

I have not heard where MB or EB were living or of any other searches.

If my daughter is in her play pen happily buzzing around with her toys, I’ll sometimes put a little baby bowl of dried yogurt drops or puffs in in there for her to munch on. I set it on the blanket I use to line her playpen, on the floor. If I put it somewhere higher she’d just knock it off and make a mess. I don’t think this makes me a bad mom.

Well WE do, so don't be all shockers if CPS shows up at your door tonight. ;)

I think it has to be clear: no one cares about anything except the safe return of EB. If you live in the United States you are subject to the laws and courts in the state where you live. Customs and rituals are secondary to the law.

I can only recall a handful of cases where LE went on national TV and accused the family of a missing person of lying and obstructing their investigation. None of those cases ended up in a live baby being found. That is the sole reason I think most people are skeptical here.

It has nothing to do with culture and custom and everything to do with obstructing the investigation into a missing baby.

Yes, and I am curious where LE will draw the line here with MB in terms of obstruction and possibly active hindering as well.

IF (we don't know what happened at her hearing) MB was given a deadline to produce her child (we recently saw this in the Vallow/Rexburg case) then how long might they have given her?

We saw MB 'taunting' LE a bit in her interview last night about them not taking her seriously and her information about Mendota.

Where does LE draw the line here with this kind of continued public behaviour which we saw yet again today regarding the pregnancy and the polygraph?

Its all quite confusing IMO.

MOO

This is the only search I’m aware of

AMBER Alert update: TBI chase down 375 leads; sheriff’s office warns against social media misinformation

“Crews were spotted by bystanders Saturday investigating around the property said to be owned by Evelyn’s grandfather. Seabolt told News Channel 11 that the crews were simply investigating the scene to follow possible leads and that there was no “digging” done, as some social media posts have indicated.

“They weren’t digging, we’re exploring any and everything we can,” Seabolt said. “That’s the problem with social media, it creates so much stir.””

I'm aghast that a websleuther would have such faith in child protective services.
We see in case after case after case that they fail these children and yet my saying and awful experience with CPS being racist is met with you telling me they cannot threaten to remove a child because of their skin tone?
Yeah, never mind. You're right. It didn't happen.
So much for victim friendly.
It's not a matter of having faith, I'm just familiar with the process. I'm not saying it didn't happen. I'm only familiar with CPS in New York, NJ, and PA and in the situation you described the state would never open a case based on what you described. Maybe they do in Tennessee. Are you sure it wasnt just a caseworker who requested their supervisor open a case? Because if it's true that a case was opened against a family based on what you described it is definitely grounds for a lawsuit.

In my experience the biggest problem with CPS is actually failing to follow through with a case where there is severe ongoing abuse occurring. Too many children have died as a result of child abuse that was never followed through with.

I'm not sure how it's not victim friendly to say that CPS can't open a case without a thorough investigation. It's true where I live and I would imagine there are guidelines in every state. Otherwise they could just open a case any time they see a bruise on a child. Imo

This is not the trailer you are looking for. It has been sitting in the same place somewhere in WV since October, with cameras pointed at it, and in it. With no people........but it is about 45ft from where I am sitting. I also don't think MB realizes how much silver trailers cost, new or used.

Yes. My sister had a much smaller old one that was in good shape outside, okay shape inside but needed updating, and I was astonished by how much money she sold it for.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) – The grandmother of Evelyn Boswell was arraigned in court Tuesday morning in Sullivan County.

Angela Boswell, 42, was arraigned on a charge of Theft of Property Over $2,500 in Sullivan County General Sessions Court.

Her bond was set at $5,000 with the condition that she wear an ankle bracelet.

She is due back in Sullivan County General Sessions Court on March 4.

Boswell is due back in Kingsport General Sessions Court on Thursday morning.

Grandmother of missing toddler Evelyn Boswell to remain jailed as investigation continues

Quotes from article:

Boswell was arraigned in a Bristol courtroom Tuesday on a charge of theft of property over $2,500 in connection to the stolen car. A judge set her bond at $5,000, with the condition she wear an ankle monitor, and set another court date for March 4.

But Boswell didn't get out of jail. Before she could make bond, a bondsman revoked her bond from a previous, unrelated case, according to Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Capt. Andy Seabolt.

"She will remain incarcerated regardless of anything in Bristol General Sessions Court, where she had a bond set this morning," Seabolt said.

Also Tuesday, Boswell was arraigned in a Kingsport courtroom on several violation of probation charges, a court clerk said. She has a hearing scheduled there Thursday.

From Knoxnews.com
“Angela Boswell, 42, of Kingsport, sat in the Sullivan County jail Tuesday morning and appeared for arraignments in two different courtrooms via video conferencing.“
I know nothing about typical court procedure. Is it standard process to appear via video conferencing?
