That's strange - I had them for a preliminary hearing on 3/24 which was moved to 4/30. I'm going to "guess" this 4/30 hearing is moved to 6/9 per article date....

@Niner - The April 30th court date is for AB's violation of probation, which is a different case.

So, regarding granny dearests interview....I don't believe a single thing this career criminal says. I'll wait for LE to confirm or deny any of it. We thought it was bad no one reported Evelyn missing after 2 months? Granny admitted she hasn't seen Evelyn in 5 months, but what the heck? She has custody of NONE of her 3 children. Not a one. And I'm guessing it's because she would barely noticed if one disappeared for 5 months. AND if you threw in a 13 year old BMW she won't say a word to authorities if one of those minors happens to be missing one day. Just as long as her and her unemployed, convict, drug addict of a boyfriend have some wheels to ride around in. These people are hideous. I'm not trying to make TBsr and his girlfriend out as saints, but at least they care if the minors in their care are accounted for and alive in the morning.
I was wondering about AB (Granny) children, I haven't seen them mentioned anywhere but one article. Would you mind pointing me to further reading, thanks!

It always bothered me that AB wasn't surprised when MB told her Evelyn had been taken by CPS - I mean, how does that not at least warrant a call to someone to find out if Evelyn is ok?

From @PommyMommy summary (BEM)
  1. Evelyn had not actually been placed in foster care, but AB believed that was true, and she thought MB was embarrassed about it.
  2. “I just believed Maggie just didn’t want to come out and tell me that."
  3. AB does not believe MB is capable of harming Evelyn, and she doesn’t believe any other family member is involved either.
Edited to say I found an article that explains how AB lost custody.

Maybe it has been revised but I'm seeing "Tuesday's preliminary hearing..." which would be tomorrow.

In any case, the article says the hearing has been reset for June 9 in Bristol, Tennessee.

@Tippy Lynn

Court hearing for baby Evelyn's grandmother delayed until June due to coronavirus concerns

I'm here, @SA55. ;):)

Thanks :)

Also - in April - no specific date - Grand jury gets MB's case per my notes.

It just hit the news here in the Tri-Cities. Unbelievable and should be enough to get their bond revoked. Although with the public health crisis, it’s possible they may just wait to pull it. IMO, might as well get them off the street because they have proven that they can’t be trusted to be normal human beings and the potential for them to do something far worse is there because they have no regard for society or the law.

Pathetic.
