Also hearing local Police Chief was out of town today.
 
They just said on Fox News they heard from a reliable source the 4 Marines are dead.
 
PD Chief Fletcher is one they're waiting on. He was in Nashville or something.
 
Asking for blood? Is that just normal procedure...to help fortify banks?

Or is it needed...because there are lots of victims? More than 4? (Not that this isn't enough of course!)
 
Lockdown at Chatt State lifted and they've all been sent home.

The only other time Blood Assurance has ever asked for donations is when we had horrible tornadoes a few years ago and several deaths or when donations are just slow.

Chattanooga shooting victims have required multiple units of blood - if you can donate, PLEASE DO.
 
Mayor and PD Chief are in a meet before presser so it will be another 15/20 minutes.
 
Impossible to tell if there are deaths or not from the conflicting reports I'm seeing, but I'm very much afraid there have been fatalities. :(
 
One ABC host just wanted to read out 911 calls, and other one would not let him.

Among President Clinton’s first acts upon taking office in 1993 was to disarm U.S. soldiers on military bases. In March 1993, the Army imposed regulations forbidding military personnel from carrying their personal firearms and making it almost impossible for commanders to issue firearms to soldiers in the U.S. for personal protection. For the most part, only military police regularly carry firearms on base, and their presence is stretched thin by high demand for MPs in war zones.
