Interesting set of photos, trying to get a read on the bf from them.

In some, he appears too slight a person to match the description of Holly's abductor (picture 28).

In others, he looks like he could match that description, as the camo clothing fills out his frame (picture 26).

Probably nothing, picture 24 she's smiling, he has a more distant look. Same for pic 30 and a few others.

Where the heck did all these pictures come from? too many to go through.

Boyfriend has been with her since last August. Wonder what their relationship was like. Seems like far too long with this guy to have some jilted lover from the past showing back up. We've had LOTS of boyfriends killing their girlfriends after the girl tried to break off the relationship. Hoping that's not the case here......though I don't know of a positive alternative with blood in the carport. :-(

there was blood in the carport, they were threatened with harm to Holly if followed, brother followed them to the edge of the woods... why would he think it was the boyfriend and even IF he thought it was her boyfriend.. why wouldn't he think she was in danger and call 911.. something smells here guys....

Yes, something smells here. I also wonder if the brother went outside he wouldn't have missed the blood. Come on, someone hears a blood curdling scream - goes out to check - witnesses and abduction - and doesn't notice the blood and waits an hour to call 911?

Gosh, now the thought has crossed my mind how well the two siblings get along. Were there any recent problems with Holly and her bro. or Holly and any of her brothers friends? I don't mean to be disrespectfull - but no stone left unturned. Especially until LE officially rules out the family (unless they already have an I am not caught up to have read that yet.)

Cubby, I've wondered that as well. One thing that the sheriff said in the video above is that TBI agents are still going 'through' the house, when asked about evidence. There are a few other things that raised red flags but I can't remember the exact wording.

Again, just leaving no stone unturned. The sheriff also said it was the neighbor who heard her screams.

I heard that he was threatened; even if it was her boyfriend, he still should have called. just to be on the safe side.

IF it is true he was threatened and did not call 911 immediately something is very hinky.

She is stunning! and the boyfriend is rather plain looking. I know that doesn't matter, but could she have found someone else? Has the boyfriend been totally ruled out yet?

I remember when I was around that age and I was extremely jealous and protective. This young girl would have guys chasing her left right and center.

I thought he said something about "big city things"...even though I am used to southern drawl, his is a little more pronounced so am not sure exactly what he meant or said.

ETA: I assume he was referring to big city crime but I dunno...maybe not. Maybe they have some type of lead to make them think that.

Well, I am just going to put this out there because NONE of the timeline makes sense to me. If tomatoes are thrown my way, I will make some spaghetti sauce.

I wonder if there are/were any sibling rivalry issues going on between Holly and her brother.

Nice and convenient that brother just happened to get a shower at the time that Holly went missing--or was it AFTER she went missing. Great way to wash away any possible forensic evidence, especially given the odd hour long wait prior to calling 911.

Something is just really OFF to me about this whole case.

I was just about to post about the shower also. We've had conflicting reports about whether or not the brother called 911. I wonder if he did. And if he did, I wonder how much time lapsed between his call and the other one. We also have conflicting reports about it being the mom that called or the neighbor. If the neighbor called, then that's more interesting that the brother didn't call 911 and didn't call his parents.

This is all speculation - just trying to make sense of it all.

Didn't they say the abductor was never in the house? So why are they "still going through the house"?

Gosh, Cubby, I sure am glad that I am not the only one who had those thoughts regarding the brother.

None of his story nor timeline make sense to me--absolutely NONE of it.

Does anyone know the boyfriend and brothers initials?

"supposedly" interjected early on was interesting.

100 state/local/federal LEO?

[wild, baseless speculation]
Wonder if it's possible the tree-trimmer father and/or the family were involved in a popular in that region of the country side business of growing and harvesting green, leafy products out in the middle of nowhere? And their daughter were taken by some business partner looking to either collect a debt or get something owed to him?

that might explain:

1. the delay in calling 911

2. the presence of so many LEO

3. the brazeness of the abductor(s)

4. "big city problems"

They have come out and said the abductor was NOT her boyfriend DS. I have not heard them say that it was not anyone else. But they did say it was NOT her boyfriend.

http://midsouthnewz.com/news/midsou...ction-twent-five-thousand-reward-offered.html

A TBI spokesman said the possible abductor is a man between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds and not her boyfriend.

It appears to me that when someone else is taking their picture, it may be someone that he is less than thrilled with (#33).

In some it is obvious HE is taking their picture and so may have an odd expression from trying to hold the camera too (#30).

Or he looks tired... or it's just a bad picture. They are not holding back poor quality pictures, all of them are there. (#24 is the same time as #22, it just wasn't as good of a picture.)

#18 is the same time as his profile picture. #5 is her profile picture.

In the other ones, he looks very happy and naturally relaxed. Really good pictures.

Quite frankly, that is a lot of pictures of a couple who have only been together for 8 months. It's like someone says "Stand over there so I can take your picture!" Every time they go somewhere. I wouldn't look too thrilled in the picture either... but I am the photographer with almost no pictures of myself... :innocent:

In the link below with the sheriff he does state that a neighbor heard her screaming as the neighbor was leaving her home, right around 1:10 mark. He also states that the call came in approx. 7:30 am. Here is the link:

So I wonder if it's true that the brother called 911 - and did he really wait an hour or not? The sheriff said they responded immediately so he wouldn't have had an hour, kwim?

Sheriff Wyatt sounds like he is breaking down emotionally. Poor guy. He has a lot on his shoulders.
I'm questioning why he is so open with the media about their investigation.....about not having 'any idea' what happened, who's involved, or why.
I realize that they don't have any clue....but should he be saying that to the media?
Then later, he says that all of the other agencies are out there because he has no clue what they are dealing with and they are just trying to cover all of their bases.

I just feel like the kidnapper shouldn't know any of that. MOO.

First thing that came to mind, the knife. If the weapon was a knife.
If LE recovered a knife to determine if it came from within the home?

If the perp had to drag her off into woods that are so dense search dogs had to be carried - how could the perp have grabbed her and made it to the woods without dropping the knife?

the above is pure speculation and jmo
