I have the original article saved, it was updated around 4:30 and then they put up the new article at 7:30pm. Perhaps they've changed their minds about the mom's status. I can try and attach a copy of the article if people want to read it and that doesn't violate the TOS.

They most likely copy and pasted the originally thought of scenario, then realized they needed to amend it (assuming, and I do, that one of the bodies found was the mother-she is no longer on the Amber Alert). I don't think the other body is any of the three girls, though, because they are still showing as missing.

I think the second body is a currently unknown to the general public, for example, AM's wife, ex wife, current GF, whatever.

Well from what I glean from the article he is still on the run, the mom and her 3 daughters were missing not including him. Two are now are dead, that leaves him and 2 still missing. This is getting scary. He is an armed man, knows hes wanted and ...???

What precipitated this? Is there a reason her husband has not spoken? I'm not putting any blame there, but it seems to me LE DEFINITELY knows much more than they are letting on. More so than most cases imo

Until it is identified, the girls will still show as missing. I pray it isn't those precious girls. They remind me so much of my two girls.

Yesterday, they thought the girls were with their mother. Actually, Thursday they thought the girls were with their mother. They issude the Amber Alert on Friday after they found the bodies.

I know! That really peeves me. Nobody even knew to look for them until it was possibly too late. Fingers crossed it isn't those babies.

This case is getting alot of attention from the feds, seems to me there is much more to this story.

It's surprises me LE/FBI has no idea of the vehicle they may be in.

It's odd that they went missing on Friday and he was around for questioning on Sunday...and then "poof". Where were the females for 2 days since her Durango was first noticed Friday afternoon. ??????

ETA: I think there was another person involved and that person is now dead. IMO

Yesterday, they thought the girls were with their mother.

They got the Amber Alert but they didn't publicize. What's the point of going through the trouble of getting an Amber Alert if you're not going to issue it nationally and even internationally?

Oddly enough, this one says:
"Other information led to a location in Mississippi where we executed federal search warrants. During the course of searching that location, two bodies were found."

The two bodies were found in Guntown at a residence where Mayes was last seen, he said. "

Residence single, not plural. So it could be either.

That statement makes it sound like that neither of the two bodies belongs to the mother or the girls.

Wow. The media is crazy confused on this one. I have no idea what to believe. I have a gut feeling the bodies aren't any of the missing persons we currently know about, but I won't speculate on who I believe them to be.

I'm also wondering if he may have the vehicle of one of the 2 murder victims. Maybe they wouldn't want to publish it to the media risking someone else getting hurt and just issued information to LE. He may not have thought the bodies would be discovered.

That video says that "the FBI announced moments ago", so this is not a very current video. That was released earlier today. When the story was released on some websites, it stated she was a suspect, but that was removed almost immediately. The current Amber Alert does not list her as a suspect.
