I don't either not hardcore roughing it. We didn't always use campgrounds. We filled up our ice chest and it would last a week or so. Do some fishing for food.

I don't see them as camping unless at Colorado river. I think they may just sleep in the rogue park a night here or there travel up the coast that offers overnight parking usually in the parking lot along the boardwalk.

What do you think they are doing when they aren't sleeping? Just driving around wasting gas? Sitting in the SUV all day in a Walmart parking lot? A night out for dinner and a movie?

I was talking about the divorce between JC and TC, I don't believe the Cummins have any minor children. Mary Elizabeth is a Thomas, not a Cummins, she isn't their child.

I am sorry, my bad. My head must be lost in the ozone. :shame:

I don't have a daughter, but if I did, I would probably not do that. Because if I did, I would expect my daughter would probably be extremely upset with me. Our relationship would probably go down hill from there. When she turned 18 the guy would probably be out of jail and they would get married and never talk to me again. But I would like to think that I would have a good enough relationship with my daughter, that she would not run off and do something like this. If she did, I would probably take that, as an indication that I had failed as a parent.

The police have said she didn't "run off". She is a victim.

Anything else I say will get me a time out.

No they could be visiting cute little small cities or landmarks, walking, lots of peeps in small towns aren't aware of this case. This is CA many people live out of their cars because it's so darn expensive. One bedroom is about $1100 a month. So many homeless cost of living is crazy high.

I think I've crossed my frustration level in this thread. It's starting to show in my posts. I might need a breather for a few days.

(Someone send me a heads up if we get any new info, please. I'll empty my inbox.)

I have also given myself a timeout. Also, baseball season starts tomorrow, and I play daily fantasy for a semi-living---so I can't post as much, but I will read this thread everyday until ET is home safe.

Since their married does that 17,000 judgement of his become hers too if it was after they were married? It would here in Cali as its a no fault 50/50 state regarding community property.

I missed this; what is the $17,000 judgment for? Thanks.

In Kansas, you can get an emergency divorce which is quickly granted. I wonder if this option is available to his wife. I was also wondering if she divorces him, if that would free her "half" of their property so he couldn't use it as collateral on bail, lawyers, etc.. It also might keep her from having it seized/sold if he is sued by family??? I'm thinking there might be financial benefits to divorcing him asap. ???
There is no "emergency divorce" provision in Tennessee law. A divorce with minor children takes a minimum of 90 days, and without children, 60 days. That's even if both parties sign papers.

Why so much speculation about weddings? Is the theory out there that he did this so he could marry her?

He researched before he left about teen marriage specifically for her age and considering she has a birthday in May, maybe in his mind (remember his hashtags on insta) this was his goal

When I suggested that the 15-year old child ET may look now like a 20-25 year old woman (at least to some), I was chastised. Please, notice that her father said something to the effect of she looks older for her age. In the OKC frame-by-frame picture, she does not look like a 15-year old girl to me.

Do not be obfuscated if I ask again “Is she a 15-year old girl who wants to “be-brought-back” to her family or a “run-away child” who want to be afar from her family and all past hurts, some hurts unveiled, and may be other hurts still concealed? The answer to that question could be determinant to finding where she may want to go. Where they may be now may depend both on the means the man has and the desires the child wishes to realize, isn’t it?”

I don't think you will be able to convince anyone who won't even believe the Tennessee attorney we have on here who explained it all. For others who might not be sure, here's some more info:

Various cases of men convicted of something greater than a minor sexual conduct charge of some sort, with a minor who appeared to have gone with him "willingly":

Nevada - convicted of kidnapping and child *advertiser censored* - faces up to life. 16 year old girl told officers she was with the man willingly. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4370260/Ex-Vegas-teacher-guilty-kidnapping-teen-girl.html

North Carolina - 20 year old man sentenced to 11 years in prison for abduction and statutory rape of his 14 year old "girlfriend". http://www.reflector.com/News/2016/05/19/Young-man-found-guilty-in-lovers-runaway-case.html

Mississippi - man sentenced to 30 years for kidnapping and statutory rape after his victim ran away to his home. http://www.wdam.com/story/33003862/verdict-reached-in-jones-county-kidnapping-and-rape-trial

Texas - federal enticement of a minor )a federal kidnapping charge) and aiding and abetting after he engaged in a sexual "relationship" with a 13 year old, (their words, not mine) and then picked her up and another 13 year old to have sex with him. http://www.easttexasmatters.com/new...ens-taking-them-to-ft-worth-for-sex/596239707

Florida - statutory rape - sentenced to 5 - 15 years in prison. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/n...ve-sex-until-marriage/f950mkViWEYQJ3N0fi00pK/

Georgia - statutory rape - sentenced to 8 and 15 years (two different men) in prison. https://patch.com/georgia/atlanta/c...ced-statutory-rape-involving-13-year-old-girl

New York - statutory rape - sentenced to 184 years. Man had been grooming kid for years beginning at age 13. http://brooklynda.org/2015/09/10/brooklyn-man-sentenced-to-184-years-in-prison-for-statutory-rape/

So besides federal and state kidnapping charges, or harboring a runaway, etc., this man could be charged with statutory rape of ET under all of the following:

Statutory rape is a class E felony in TN - 1- 6 years in prison.
Aggravated statutory rape is a class D felony in TN - 2-12 years in prison.
Statutory rape by an authority figure is a class C felony in TN - 3-15 years in prison and not eligible for diversion or probation.

If he does not release her, he is looking at serious time, IMO.

Thanks for that list. Most of those cases seem to be kind of extreme. A lot of those cases are dealing with child pornagrahy, and repete offenders. It's seems the penalties can vary a lot from short jail terms to very long terms depending on the circumstances.

And changed her IG status to wife with a ring emoticon the day before she went missing/ abducted.

When I carried the probability that Mr. Tad Commins could look younger, may be like a 40-year old man now, some pilled that he is too ugly (from their view) to achieve that. In the OKC 3/15 pictures, just after 3 days of absconding, Mr. Tad Commins looked MUCH younger to me. It is a possibility that he has lost 20 pounds by now! Do all of Mr. Tad Commins’ family members, friends, ex-coworkers, and acquaintances think that Mr. Tad Commins kidnapped that woman? (A woman in the mind of some hypothetic thinker, not your mind!) Or, at least few of those people think that the woman got Mr. Tad Commins, the so nice high school teacher, in large trouble? It could be in some people’s mind that Mr. Tad Commins just wants to facilitate the desire to escape of his companion. May be, Mr. Tad Commins just wants to please her, isn’t it? Such potential view makes me eager to scrutinize, one more time, all acquaintances of Mr. Tad Commins with potential help and communication he may get to elucidate the pitfalls of the dragnet for so long.

As far as a judgment, first of all, I have no idea when there was a $17k judgment or what for. But here's what I can tell you: Tennessee is not a community property state; it's a dual property (marital/separate property) state. All debt incurred from the date of marriage until the date the divorce decree is signed by the judge is marital debt (the same definition is true of marital property, except for property acquired by gift or inheritance).

Marital debt is allocated equitably, which doesn't always mean equally (but frequently does). A court would take into consideration which spouse incurred the debt, who benefited from the debt, and who's best able to pay the debt. Also, if the debt is incurred for a non-marital purpose during a time when the marriage is undergoing an irretrievable breakdown, such as charging a ton on a credit cards for hotel rooms and dining out with your girlfriend, then that debt may be considered de facto dissipation of marital assets and allocated wholly to the spouse who incurred it.

And now I will stop posting walls of text about Tennessee divorce law because I recognize it is annoying.

Since they were married at that time, she would share in that judgement, just like she would share in any debts he had incurred, like credit cards. However, they most likely paid that off and they would go through mediation to discuss these things.

Thanks. If and when he gets caught. Poor woman 31 yrs of marriage for this. Sad

Thank you this is good pertinent information. I only get annoyed at long post that keep repeating what's already been said over and over but that's bound to happen when peeps start reading newest posts first.

No big deal I just skip them.

Mr. Tad Commins' wife is divorcing him. Too bad for him.

Would that be good to keep in mind and talked about all day long, and … even necessary to asthenic and capture him? Or rather, could not that subside for now and be used latter to abjure and punish him when he is captured?

....And the State the offense happened in, and the presiding judge, and the wishes of the family and past criminal history, age of the offender. Yes, lots of things factor into how these cases are determined. The wishes of the victim are also noted. That's why I keep saying if he returns he safely and quickly, he'll most likely face very minor charges. It's in his, and her, best interest to return her asap. But every day he keeps her from the safety of her family, friends and the ability to pursue her education, he's making this more difficult. And make no mistake, he will be caught. He's 50, probably not in the best of health, and things could go bad quickly. If he truly loves her, he'll let her grow up like every other normal teen because nothing that he's done so far says "love" to me. She looked dreadful in that picture, certainly not well groomed and happily grasping his arm.

I don't think he cares
