Whoa, great find! I can't believe he actually registered a song at some point. Song is called "Flowing Water". Seems innocent enough of a title but I bet it gets SUPER CREEPY once he starts singing it.

Won't be trying to track that one down. The first one was hideous enough. Would rather listen to screaming goats.

This girl could be gone from this guy if she wanted. You saw them walking through Walmart together, she's not scared. She could have started screaming for help in Walmart or just run to a security guard. But she stays by his side.

In my opinion, that video blows any chance of convicting him of kidnapping.

I don't think anyone blamed ET.

Nowhere does it say this is her fault.

It was simply stated that she is not with him against her will. This seems obvious from the Walmart footage.

No judgement, just observation.

The post was implying that ET wasn't a victim because she didnt try to leave. She is 15, and by default, a victim.

Not at all how it seemed to me.

I definately think kidnapping is still in play here. TC had was suspended for violating a no contact directive, and he is not her custodial parent, and he moved her across state lines without permission. We may also learn that she was with him under duress. Won't know until she is found.

I disagree. They know he groomed her, they said it. Also the law states she can't consent to go on the run with him. They have already charged him with aggravated kidnapping.

It is just like the law where a 14 year old can't consent to have sex with a 20 year old. They can say yes and think they want to but legally they can not consent.

Good analogy, good post!

IMOO.

Why isn't it that simple? They are on video walking in Walmart together of all places. There's plenty of people to run to for help and get away. Some people can't get past their selves and understand this girl isn't with this guy right now against her will. Even though that might not fit your narrative

Here is the thing we need to remember; no matter what the circumstance Elizabeth was kidnapped by Cummins.

Cummins manipulated her. He is a criminal.

There are all kinds of scenarios we can consider.

*He took her against her will and threatened her to the point he felt he could take Elizabeth out in public and not worry about her running off. Deeply scared her with threats.

*He took her against her will and brainwashed Elizabeth into thinking she is doing the right thing by staying with him.

*Elizabeth left with Cummings willingly

If Elizabeth left with Cummins willingly so what? He is a criminal and a creep by manipulating her. 15 years old is not considered old enough to decide you can run off with someone.

Cummins knows he is a criminal.

My point is Elizabeth is a victim of this creepy old man (old to her anyway), and he will be charged with, at the very least I would think, kidnapping in the 1st degree no matter what the scenario.

Ugh. Some, uh, "interesting" posts suddenly popping up. These threads get weirder and weirder.

Lol

This is one of those Time Out Threads where a simple scroll and roll is hard to do.

Jmo.

So becareful all.

Now as far as my opinion. I truly think that ................... etc etc.

Yes DexterMorgan I understand it is hard to scroll but you and most have been doing a great job of scrolling by the posts that you don't link.

Please remember we do not allow people to attack each other.

Just sayin' cuz I can LOL

Good night.

I posted my frustration with Walmart last Thursday am. Three store managers had not even known about the AA in AL. They cannot post AA unless LE took it in. LE wouldn't take it in because it was originated in TN. They informed me it was PROTOCOL! Finally asked Mobile PD if it was their daughter, how would this "protocol" be handled.

It might be worthwhile to get photos of TC and ET into the Walmart stores, maybe post them in the break room and ask employees (especially cashiers and greeters) to keep an eye out for the two.

This has been quite an interesting read tonight. Going to bed & praying for a lead when I check in tomorrow! We just need him to make one mistake...

Re: Las Vegas. Most of the hotels are attached to the casinos. There are cameras everywhere, security guards watching intently. And the air is thick with cigarette smoke. It's not a good environment for people with allergies.

And plus she's a minor, so she can walk through the casinos but she can't stand at any tables or just hang around in the casinos.

I missed part of the last thread so this may have been mentioned and sorry if it was in there, but I saw on local news that TBI was following up on a possible sighting in Nebraska. They were possibly on camera at a McDs, but TBI ruled it out. While that disappointed me I was happy to see it getting attention. Anyone I had asked had no idea about the story last week. It was in a small town the tip came in from also, which really gives me hope that more eyes are looking. Leave it so no place is safe to hide. If we keep spreading the word she will come home. I think about this poor girl every single day. Also it has been in the 30's at night here so not exactly comfortable sleeping weather if they did head north.

My main source of confusion in Tad's thinking of this "plan" was what are they going to do when the money runs out? Become criminals? I just keep going back to that. What is his plan for money? I really do not understand how he is still flying under the radar when the plan seems so flawed. That is the thing that leads me to believe someone has or intends to help them w lodging/food/ money. I just don't see how they last like this long term.

Viewing a few seconds of video from several weeks ago, does not give me enough information to determine whether she is with him willingly or not. In my opinion, they did not look happy nor affectionate toward each other. Many abusers threaten their prey to the point of the abused party being afraid to speak up or seek help. It can be "paralyzing." Look at Elizabeth Smart, for example. Or, people who suffer abuse for years and do not "get away" nor seek help.

My personal opinion is that her hx of sexual abuse has blurred her boundaries considerably. There may be a part of her that enjoys his attention and feeling special, but as a 15 yr young girl there may be a part of her that is nervous and scared to death by the situation causing her to not know what to do. Just MO.

We don't know her attitude at this point. That pic was 2 weeks ago, and he does have a gun. Anyways most people on this forum know her safety is in jeopardy running off with a man who doesn't truly love her. She still needs parental guidance at this age and needs to be in contact with her dad.

So if you book a room in a more affordable place they make you gamble? Or is that a choice? I mean someone can book a room and not gamble, right? Reason I ask is I've heard from people so much that lodging in those hotels isn't expensive and they usually have an all you can eat buffet that's very reasonable so it's a cheap area to stay, as long as you stay away from the gambling.

I've been 5 times and gambled less than $1 at a slot machine just to "gamble" in Vegas. I've gambled in Tunica, in Shreveport, and several other places that have casinos (plus I live 30 minutes from Hot Springs, AR where live gambling is legal at Oaklawn race track). So gambling did not appeal to me at all in Vegas.

You can spend a LOT of money or you can get by on a fairly reasonable budget. They have everything from fast food, to bad buffets (I DO NOT recommend the buffets), to mid range price sit down restaurants, to very expensive fine dining. I was lucky enough to go for work and my employer paid for some very expensive dining.

But to give a direct answer to your question - in all the trips I've made to Vegas I've never once heard of hotels requiring guests to gamble. I've never even heard of that in other gambling locales like Tunica (which I've been to about a dozen times). And as for the cost of the hotel, there's everything from Motel 6 prices to $10,000 a night suites. Treasure Island, which is one of Steve Wynn's hotels (and very nice - I stayed there once), runs a regular special for something like $99 a night and includes discounts for the spa and the Cirque du Soleil show they have at TI.

And then there's all the hotels on the original strip - Fremont Street. It's very easy to be lost in the sea of people in Vegas. Everywhere you go it's very crowded.

I do think, though, that it makes a difference whether ET thinks she's going along willingly, or whether he's threatening her - because the dynamics of the relationship is going to affect how he treats her. If she is with him "willingly" then it's much more likely that he might send her into a store alone to pick up supplies rather than if his hold on her was limited to threats.A "happy" relationship would make it more likely that they'd be in public, or even that he'd take her somewhere to have fun, whereas if she's only staying due to fear, he'd probably want to isolate her and limit her chances to escape.
