He was fast tracked and was a health teacher? Do I have that right? Seems like a dream job for him, if he's into teenage girls. He gets to be around high-school girls talking about a subject that can be intimate, and he is in position to befriend them and already have their trust and respect as a teacher. Ugh.

Since this isn't posted in this thread #3, here is his personnel file:

You'll find his application, his resume, his community college (2 years) transcript with an AAS degree in respiratory and a very few other classes that he took at Tennessee State in 2014, AFTER he was employed (since 2011).

He has NO background in formal school teaching, he claims his background in teaching is through the church. His experience is many years in respiratory therapy and car salesman.

But but but, he was a great teacher and everyone loved him! :snark:

He is obviously not wealthy, as he depicted himself, but I think he would be able to accumulate several thousands of dollars beyond the $4,500 car loan. I think he has more than sufficient means to hide for a while, but the money will run out.

The sister's interview about her conversation with Elizabeth is interesting. I still wonder whether Elizabeth was coached to say that (so if they couldn't find her earlier in the day, they would wait until 6 to report it) or if she had misgivings.

Her IG seems to suggest she was in on the plans to leave with him, and that perhaps she was even doing things (like securing ID or saving money) to help which is why she said "mission completed."

It's not impossible that Tad could've created both social media accounts--his and "hers"--to be an elaborate cover of some kind. And that she really did think he was just an overly friendly mentor who had once given her a peck on the cheek? And that he is the one who became obsessed etc.

I think it's more likely the IG acct was hers. But I would like to know if the police checked into the IP address of that account user...and if it matched Tad's router or device or hers.

I agree with the money situation. I think they have enough to live off the grid for awhile, especially if he stockpiled supplies, which is my hunch he did. (Just a hunch, not a fact.)

My guess is they went south where it is warm enough to camp overnight and that they will move around the country this summer, eventually picking up low-end jobs that pay in cash for income.

Here is a news report that has an interview with a former respiratory therapist co-worker. The former co-worker specifically thought that having Cummins in a position of authority was a bad idea! So much now is coming out about Cummins and it just baffles me as to how he was in a teaching position. He wasn't qualified and his work history is sketchy as well. Why would someone go from being a respiratory therapist to a teacher? I wonder what made him change jobs? From the interview with the co-worker it sounds like there were red-flags.

IMO, the reason was he could be around teenage girls.

Requirements are different for teachers who teach what we used to call vocational-technical classes. And some of them in our district are excellent in teaching students about the careers they have been in.

Thanks for sharing this.

It sounds like others had reservations about this guy.

Just to clarify, from someone in the education field, teachers in certain roles (such as votech) are required to have experience in the field (such as being a respiratory therapist) because they are specifically hired to prep kids toward a field. They still have to get a teaching license which Tad had according to the records I posted in the earlier thread. I don't know if this was considered a career-prep type of role, but if it was, this isn't super unusual. Now if they hired a respiratory therapist to teach a mandatory history or government class or something, then we have a problem.

The girl's name was Hannah and her mother enabled that weird relationship.

But it makes no sense. No way could someone just walk off the streets here in NJ and get a teacher's job because they have an AAS degree in respiratory therapy. What exactly was he teaching? What the hell is forensics?

Here's a screenshot of a map I'm making up-----------The point of the screenshot is, why did it take almost 7 hours to go 75 miles on Day 1 ??

Below is the link to a zoomable map showing the Interstate system to the south of where they were last seen. Good luck picking which direction they headed off in.........anybodies guess is just as good as the next one. I guess that's the whole problem.......where are they ??

this is a zoomable map, so use the center wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out, left click and drag to move around on screen.

and his job history is sketchy, he worked "freelance" for a while and had jobs for less than a year.

I assume the wife made him apply (and made sure he got the job) so that he would have steady income and benefits.

Every time I come back to the forums I check the LOCATED one first, because that's where I want this girl to show up. Sadly, she's still not there yet. :(

I'm really on the fence about this whole "call the police if I'm not home by 6". If ET actually said that, you'd think it would have been mentioned immediately, in the very first report of her being missing. It's kind of a huge thing to leave out.

I try hard to ignore FB comments because most of the time they're a load of horse doo. Not that we can discuss them here anyway since they're considered rumor, but it does make it hard to keep facts separated from emotions & rumor.

As for the pic of them sitting together at what looks like TC's desk at school... I thought I'd read he was suspended from his teaching position on the 6th of Feb. If that's the case, the date of that pic can't be the 12th.

Just a few random thoughts.

ME TOO.

I wonder if LE told the family member to say that so that people would be more...what's the word I'm looking for....worried? proactive? So that people wouldn't just assume that she went willingly thus she isn't in danger?

Have to open it through the Facebook app if you're using mobile or else it won't work.
Can you just give us her name on there so we can find it that way? I can't get these links to work.

He's not wealthy, but he may have access to a lot more than the $4500 dollars he was known to have had. He's been teaching for years, so you can assume he's got a retirement plan, a 401K, some cash in the bank, etc. He may have borrowed the $4500 on one of those fancy jeeps he's so proud of. Let's say for the sake of argument that he managed to gather up $ 3-4,000 dollars on top of the payday loan. That would round out to about $7500-$8500 dollars total. You can survive and stay hidden a long time on that much money. He may have been selling things on Craigslist in the 5 weeks he was suspended, who can say for sure ?

Bottom line, he's hidden and he knows it's working because 10 days have gone by and he hasn't been surrounded by a SWAT team. He'll most likely stay right where he is as long as he can. Sooner or later though, he's going to have to get out and buy groceries, move to a new spot, drive down the highway, and find a new source of income.

It seems like to me that all anybody can do at this point is exactly what's being done, keep flooding the airwaves with pictures of these two, so that when they do finally resurface, people will instantly recognize them.

About the comment she made to her sister before leaving... I wonder if it was part of the "game"? Tad reportedly told her he was former CIA/FBI and he was a forensics teacher. Perhaps, this comment was masterminded by Tad for him to be able to show her how well he could evade LE - part of the "thrill" of running away together. JMO - not fact.

I don't think LE coached anyone to say that, but without violating TOS in regards to family members being victims, I'll just say that I'm leaning towards the statement being more of a type of sarcastic comment instead of anything else. Like me going to the grocery store and saying "if I'm not back in an hour, go on with out me". Based on everything we know about ET's conduct (at school, on SM) I honestly don't think she was afraid of TC or felt there was any real reason to have police involved if she didn't show up at home at a certain time.

moo.

Do you think he could have had the vehicle painted? I don't believe it costs alot to have that done.

The interview with the older sister said she changed her status to "married" with the ring after she left. Do they know when she made that change? I know Gatlinburg has been discussed and it is a wedding destination.
