Per the rules, friends and family member's personal SM accounts are off limits.

For clarity, this FB account is someone who works in the media, so this is okay. :)

ETA: he also appears to be the one who filmed the DA's message to TC that Steelman posted.

Sorry, I'm new here and don't know all the rules yet. :blushing:

Are there still hurricane relief trailers in Louisiana? What about Knoxville area where the fire was several months ago, any Red Cross mobile units that may still be there that hasn't been moved? I know in Northern/eastern portion of Arkansas there are several small towns that have rundown type houses that were abandoned, he could be in something like that.

Thanks for this idea. I'm going to add it to the list of places we've dug up.

I know it might be a long shot, but looking for info and possible paths seems like a constructive way to spend our time.

I do want to clarify I am outraged about the lack of help this girl received too. The only reason I'm not replying more to some of those threads is I think the more pressing issue is finding her...then we can rally about protecting her and prosecuting any negligence. Just my approach. I know there's strength in other opinions and in having multiple people with different points of view processing this.

I'm adding another idea to the list suggested by another sleuther earlier in the thread.

I know it's discouraging Tad hasn't been tracked down and it leads us to wonder if he's already taken their lives. But since we have no evidence of that at this point, and we know he had taught criminal forensics and researched going off the grid, I still think it is worth the energy to try to narrow down a list of possible destinations.

While, yes, theoretically they could be "anywhere," it would be human nature to go somewhere where Tad had been previously and understood the lay of the land.

So far, people have offered these connections, but I bet we can discover more:

Mexico or Central America - He's done previous medical volunteer work in Panama and has ties to churches who have done trips to other CA countries (we don't yet know if Tad went on any of his churches' mission trips).

New Orleans - site of Tad's volunteer work in helping Hurricane Katrina victims

**Added: Knoxville area - Could be blending in or finding refuge in relief areas

Orange Beach, FL - apparent site of Tad's previous travels

Canada - A lesser # of people have suggested they went for the Canadian border

Remote NC - Some have suggested he may have went north from Decatur

As you're reading, would you let me know if you run across any info about Tad or Elizabeth's previous travels? Where did they go on family vacations? On school trips? On church trips? Where do they mention they have family? Where did Tad travel during his childhood? Where did they hunt or know someone with a cabin?

I know not everyone is interested in exploring this line of thinking, but I'd love if you'd forward any evidence that links them to specific locations.

I had insomnia last night and was up thinking about this case and reading everything I could about it. I now believe that over the weeks ET played along with this fantasy of his to go away together but she may have never thought he'd go through with it. As someone who's been sexually abused, she probably has a hard time saying no and setting boundaries. She might really think she loves him but didn't want to run away from her family so she said she would do it, played along on Instagram, etc. Then as he seemed to get more serious about leaving, she may have started to pull back a little (like hiding from him when he came to work) and he may have become more intense and insistent. She probably said "yes" to leaving with him on that day because she couldn't say no, but told her sister to call the police and to look for her. She probably thought they would be caught and she'd get to go home without hurting his feelings. Because I'm sure he really played up his feelings and gave her guilt trips about having doubts.

So if my scenario were true, I would imagine the longer it goes without them being found she may bolt and try to leave, especially if he's acting erratically and not the man she "fell in love with." Also, if they are headed out of the country, she may realize it's her last chance to not disappear forever and she may bolt near the border.

Just my two cents.

I don't think Tad is going to do anything until LE is closing in on him, which obviously ain't happenin'. What he does at that point is left to be seen. I would imagine LE is going to do everything in their power to avoid a standoff situation for that very reason. IF they manage to get a fix on where he's staying, I could see them staking it out for a couple of days and waiting for him to either leave the place in his car or wander outside and get some fresh air, at which time they could swoop in and grab him. They might even wing him with a shot to disable him, take out a knee cap for example.

Wherever he's hiding, it's working out very well for him, and he knows it. The fact that the SWAT team hasn't kicked in his door over the last 12 days is proof enough that his hiding spot is secure. Does TC have some sort of an escape plan in the works ? Probably, but his escape plan will only work if he is approached and surrounded the way he has envisioned it happening. A traffic stop without ET in the car, or nabbing him while he's walking out of a convenience store would be the ideal scenario. Surrounding his hideout and creating a standoff situation would likely be the most disastrous.

I agree with most of this as well. I sure hope LE stake out any hideout they find, as you suggested. (I.e. wait until he's blocks away and then retrieve the girl.) My only question is how far he got before he hunkered down. I'm going to keep building this list of locations he may be tied to and maybe once we have some strong locations, we can even start alerting campgrounds and storage units and motels and AirBnB owners in these areas.

Don't feel bad, I've been here three years and I don't know the rules either. I learn as I go. If you cross the line, you'll have a week or so to think about it.

An old link, yet a refresher for folks catching up on were she worked, and how they met according to this article.

Thomas, a freshman who worked at Chick-fil-A in Columbia, and Cummins met through HOSA, a school club that promotes careers in the health industry. Thomas was the HOSA sponsor at Culleoka. There are about 70 students in Culleoka's freshman class.

After a student reported seeing Thomas and Cummins kissing at school, he was escorted out of the school by law enforcement, a source told the newspaper.

I don't think he would end his life being such a Jesus poet. Big no no to take your own life. I know he hasn't followed his belief to a T but I don't foresee him taking his life. No going back. In his religion anything is forgiven but taking ones life. Jmo.

I think if he was faced with being caught and paying for his crimes he might attempt suicide. He talks a big Jesus game but imo it's an act.

If I was a doctor instead of an RN, I would label TC as: Bipolar- mania with delusions of grandeur.

I minored in psychology. From what we do know about him I would label him as having borderline personality disorder with bipolar - but that's JMO based on what has been stated about his personality.

Good points.

It always amazes me how someone like him can snatch a young girl and not be caught by now.

With BOLOs and the obvious fact he would be with a young person it seems he should be spotted by LE or the public to notify LE.

Maybe LE in other states have too many of these types of people they have to be on the lookout for and maybe it is much harder than it sounds.

I suppose these two are not the only ones LE is after in their own towns. They most likely have a long list of their own local criminals they are after.

And for the public being able to spot them I really think that once they get outside of Tennessee then most of the public probably do not keep up with news like this.

Unless they are interested in nationwide crime news I suppose most folks are not wise to it.

He was only suspended. And the school didn't suspend him until after the kissing incident 'investigation' was over with. The two were told to stay away from one another. He was suspended after ET was caught in his classroom. He was terminated by the school system the day after they disappeared. Wife is on the schoolboard.

Let's pretend that in order to get as far away as possible before they were reported missing TC decided not to stop for gas at all after filling up at at the Shell station and then picking up ET. Averaging his cars city/highway mileage it gets about 29 miles to the gallon. He has a 14.5 gallon tank. So, roughly, he can travel about 427 miles on one tank. If he never filled up and did not switch cars or use a different mode of transportation, he has to be inside this radius.

I drive a Nissan Rogue, I average 300 miles on a tank. My dh does more highway driving and averages 360 max.

He didn't lose his job until he went on the run...he was suspended the month before but I'm guessing he probably told his wife it was all some kind of mix-up and that he would take care of it.

Im still thinking they are close and waiting for the hysteria to die down. In his mind, give it a few weeks to calm down, LE moves to another problem and then they will make their move south.

It might have been helpful for Cooper to reassure Elizabeth that she doesn't have to go home to her family, if that's a concern for her. If she fled because of her family situation, what is her motivation to return? Just wish Cooper had let her know that she has options.

I wish he had also told her to just call and let her family hear her voice so she can tell them she's okay. That's the adult thing to do. At least let her family know she's alive.

I agree...at first I thought they'd try to get as far away as possible, but with no sightings I think they're much closer to home. They probably had the car hidden and were deeply entrenched somewhere by the time the Amber Alert was expanded. TC has a need to be in control, and as much as he likes to see himself as a world-traveling CIA agent, I think he'd feel more in control closer to home...there's too much risk of being spotted if they're on the move.
