I don't see any comments on that article that are anything other than complete speculation and prayers?

There's one person who replied to another. It is speculation for sure.

There are comments saying

To be considered rumour, obvs.

Right.

How far away has a toddler who has gone missing before gotten on foot? For some reason when I look at the map, my eye draws northwest of the property towards Allen Creek.

Still nothing? My stomach is is knots over this 😭 Come on baby boy, where are you? Its starting to get dark out. Really thought he would have been found by now.

This might sound odd, but where I live the ground is rock hard....what exactly is a sinkhole? Like I mean are they already there or does the ground just give way without warning?

Sinkholes here seem to occur due to underground water or the wearing away of rock underneath the top soil. In the link below, you can see what happened at the Corvette museum. The video is unbelievable!

We get them I suppose, but mostly on roadways after a lot of rain.

This is not good. Last night it got down to 38 degrees or so, with rain (some heavy rain) in the early morning hours. Tonight it will be below freezing. I feel so bad for Noah's Mom & Dad, Grandma & Grandpa, and Aunt.

You just answered the questions in my mind about the weather. I wonder if rain last night would affect the dogs ability to track scent?

Me too. I cannot imagine what they must be going through. I've been sick on my stomach all day with worry. Will anyone be allowed to even try to search after dark? I mean, I don't think I could stop.

rain is coming in and it's cold. It's been cold since he went missing. I hope that every vehicle, every fridge sitting outside, every trunk, every abandoned car, is also being given close scrutiny. He would have tried to get warm, somehow.

Have they searched the home residence yet; is there a warrant to search the home yet, meaning all crawl and attic/basement spaces as well as cisterns, wells, and any junk yards in the area.

I hope so!

Holy moly!! Are they always this extreme?

Not always. The sinkholes on our farm are not that extreme, but in order to not see a mature adult cow in one they are at least 6-8 feet deep. They can be narrow, only a couple feet wide, but we have one on our property that is at least 30 feet wide.
