I knew I was coming in late --- you guys are good. So ---- maybe y'all can help ---- on Sunday, Nov. 7th I was heading to Lubbock on I-20 --- I came up on a white van, newer, EconoLine with South Carolina plates --- for some reason I felt like I needed to make a note of this and the driver ------ so when Regina Tague pic came up later that week I thought I was going to fall over --- the driver in that van ---- very, very similar. I noted the plate, the time, location and some other stuff ---- I called LE with no response yet --- and I know that this could be nothing, but since I had not seen a photo of RT until after the van, I don't know. So should I just send them a letter? I could not find email for the dept.. Any thoughts?

Does anyone know if TK's mother knew he had purchased a motorcycle/wanted to learn to ride at the time he purchased from Superbike?

As far as I've seen, we just really don't know the answer to that question. Maybe...maybe not.
 
TK's mother referenced in her interview that he was watching the news intently at her house at the time about the case/murders and asking her if she thought they would catch the person. It would be very interesting if at that time, she knew TK purchased a bike from that shop.... Knowing his anger issues.

Is it true he is representing himself, or was that only for some previous hearing. From this article (11/15/2016) linked below re the motorcycle shop:

Kohlhepp has yet to enter a plea and says he will represent himself in court.

We know from the Amazon product reviews that TK is a fan of making what appear to be morbid jokes but are in fact secretly true. I think it's a given that there are barrels with more victims somewhere in Arizona.

A quick search shows a few cold cases involving barrels. Most already seem to have suspects, but one could be a false lead.

There's also one cold case in neighboring New Mexico with 9 dead women in found barrels (the West Mesa murders). We know TK is willing to drive a distance to dispose of bodies, so that wouldn't be out of the question. I'm not clear on when he was there though, so pardon me if this guess is impossible.

TK was in AZ from age 12 to 15 when he was arrested. He was there for the summer of 1982, then returned to SC for a few months to live with his mom. Then he went back to AZ in 1983. We discussed in the possible victims thread whether he could have committed crimes in AZ between 1982 and 1987 and if he was driving. We found out from MSM that when TK got out of prison in 2001 he had never had a driver's license. While he may have still known how to drive from age twelve (and did so illegally), IMO the lack of a driver's license limits his possible crime radius somewhat for the 1980's in AZ. So far nothing in the MSM has said TK went back to AZ after getting out of prison--he moved right to SC to live with his mom from all the stories we have so far. But he may have visited his father/father's family in AZ after 2001 and committed crimes while there. I don't think it's too far-fetched that maybe he put someone in a barrel in more recent years and he felt like he could brag about it as if it happened in AZ before he went to prison. He could use the prison time he served as a sort of cover as if to say he had already paid for his crimes and get away with bragging. His neighbor seemed to think it was all BS but I think LE took it seriously considering what he has confessed to so far.

Snipped for focus. This thread was created by a member to be a sort of general discussion thread as more news comes out and we learn more about the case. So general discussion is fine but if something seems more suited to one of the more topical discussion I ask that you guys post in those.

So to discuss the adult lifestyle stuff do it it the adult thread. To go in depth about TK and his personality and psychology do it in the TK profile thread. To discuss the logistics of KB's captivity and life during those months held do it in the captivity thread, etc.

For general broad conversation this is the spot.

Unbelievable that he used exactly the same tactics again with KB and CC.Offering them cleaning jobs then targeting them. How cocky!! To be that confident to just repeat exactly what he did before. Begs the question...how many other times has he done this?
 
A WSPA reporter, Brianna Francis, has joined a FB group that I belong to. Someone asked her about the picture TK wanted to give to his mother, and she said that it was a picture of a horse that he and mom once shared, that was special to him.

Er... that was definitely not what I was expecting.
