Hollywood relationships are often based on each person
getting ahead.
I know from a very reliable source who is friends with Tom's first wife,
that they NEVER consummated the marriage.

And, as for Penelope Cruz, it is widely known among the Hollywood
circles that she is a "beard" for gay Hollywood actors.

Has anyone seen the South Park episode called Trapped in the Closet? It is about Scientology and rips the religion, Tom Cruise and John Travolta apart. It is pretty hysterical. Also, if you saw the Emmy's last night, the part of Conan's opening sequence with South Park was a spoof of that episode.

...As a parent Im sure that would sound off many loud alarm bells. To have them suddenly not vocal about the situation makes me wonder.

Katie is a grown adult. Unfortunately, because of she is, her parents have no say over her actions at all. Perhaps, they were warned that if they didn't pipe down, they would never see their daughter again.

If this is the case, they would be forced to be quiet as they would want to monitor the situation as closely as they could.

I don't know what is going on, but it seems that Katie has gone off the deep end. She seemed like a sweet and naive girl, but we don't know her or her motives.

It will be interesting to see of Tom and Katie live happily ever after. I guess that they might if "Kate" does everything demanded of her by Tom and Scientology.

This certianly wouldnt surprise me given the rumor mill was in full effect concerning her interactions (relationship?) with Selma Hayek. Dating gay men would be a perfect cover if she is indeed a lesbian.

I think Tom and Jake Gyllenhaal should get together. They'd make one hell of a creepy couple.

The only thing I don't understand if any of these "gay rumors" are true is why or how Nicole stayed married to Tom for almost 10 years. I've seen her in interviews in recent years and she displayed true sadness over the breakup of her marriage. She seemed to truly love Tom. And that was the only nice thing I ever had to say about him... that he was married to her. Why would a lovely woman like Nicole stay married to a gay man for 10 years? It doesn't make sense. Ditto Kelly Preston being married to Travolta for so long. I like Travolta, although his ready-made and overly large smile is wearing a bit thin (much like Cruise's). Is that smile something they teach at the Scientology School? LOL!

I think that's just an annoying side effect from the brainwashing. They always seem to have this 'Yeah, this is great, this is awesome' look.

Nic being married to Tom kinda makes it hard for me to believe their marriage was a sham.
Anyone else, but Nic....she just doesn't seem the type to have been bought.
I run with those conspiracy theories but when it comes to Nic I just can't get my head around it.
She did seem truly sad when their marriage broke up.

ps I can't stand Travolta either, you're right they've both got the hugest cheesy grins.

I wonder if it has finally sunk in that he opened his mouth when he shouldn't have? If not, will he ever "get it?" He insulted half of the nation with his talk about no one needing to take antidepressants and his "know it all" attitude. Heck, all he is is an actor...which doesn't amount to to much in my book.

I know !!!! I saw that spoof last night and laughed my head off just imagining Tiny Tom's reaction to that. he must have turned purple. It seems as if folks in Hollywood are turning against him too. He has become a laughing stock, a parody of himself. What a joke of a jerk......
