I hope ALV is getting a spanking in chambers.
She had no business approaching Samatha in open court and making that dumb remark.

Knowing this DT they are asking for a mistrial based on their own witness's
conversation with TA family being overheard by the Jury?

DH called me at noon so that he didn't interrupt as I watched the trial. Guess he didn't need to be so thoughtful

Hubby called me a few minutes ago telling me he would be getting off early today. My sweetie wanted to know if I wanted to go to the flower nursery to get more plants when he got home. I reminded him that the trial starts back today.

He told me 'oh good.' then he said 'I will go out to the nursery before coming home and get the 6 flowers you want.' Me loves my adorable sweet hubby.

When he comes in he will watch the trial with me since Juan will be up. He watches when he is up on cross every time but cant tolerate to watch KN & JW. He goes to another room to watch something else when either one of them are up.

That sounds logical but the problem I have with that one is that it would not put her in Idaho when she was in AZ. It didn't provide any kind of alibi, just confirmed she was in Utah when she said she was.

She ouwld have needed something to place her in Utah on June 4, being pulled over Jun 5 or 6 with upside down plates would not have done that,

I am starting to think that the Judge is giving them the "how much longer" on their case treatment...that would explain why Juan isn't in there...but that wouldn't need to include La Violette...

It wouldn't take nearly this long to brow beat LaViolette for her behavior re: Samantha...

Here's hoping that LV has decided that she will not tarnish her reputation further and is refusing to testify...

I find it very odd that there is ex parte with the judge.

Have you read the court minutes?? There were TONS of them. They were all sealed, of course. I was surprised so many were allowed. I thought they were frowned on??

I too am not feeling well today. Have a fever, nasty cough and horrible throat. Dragged myself from bed to watch. Under what circumstances can the DT be in chambers with the judge but not the prosecution? I can only hope that the stun belt had a malfunction this morning.

This really worries me. Why isn't the state in there with them now? It is unusual because normally all sides are present in the chambers.

Really!!! Maybe they are having a tea party, or painting the roses red, or looking for apples; but, COME ON!
