Did anyone else notice yesterday when Nurmi was craning his neck toward the jury, then whispered to Wilmott who then craned her neck and then asked to approach? Then when they got to the stand, Nurmi had his neck in some weird contortion while talking to the judge like he didn't want the jury to see what he was saying and then the judge looked at the jury? Anyone??

I asked yesterday but never got a response. :blushing:

I saw it, but have no idea what the problem was. It made me think of a juror laughing at the IQ convo...Are the jurors not allowed to show emotion either?

Good morning all. Ready for another round of Juan vs ALV.

I was just playing back a clip of yesterday and noticed how JA is sitting in the chair. Admittedly she's just gone into peanut butter mouth mode and summonsed the MS over but look how comfortably she is sitting in that chair. Has she forgotten this is a DP case for her ? The jury weren't in the room at this point

ETA by the way there's 5 cases on the docket before JA this morning so I can't see a 09:30 start!

I wish I had the expertise to make a moving montage of all Wilmott's shakes and nods. I cannot believe the judge doesn't see them. The witnesses certainly do.

yes, that pesky thanks button is very pesky.. I think refreshing is the only way to reset it.

Yeah that was real bad for ALV cred.

And if you listened carefully she hung herself worse as follows. At one point she was trying to act innocent, "I was a keynote breakout speaker..."

But she gave it away when she said at another conference she was THE keynote speaker--clearly proving she knew the difference. And when this was proven she said something like, "I don't lie, Mr. Martinez..."

Totally destroyed in many ways IMO, and we are not done yet.

Yes and even for the supposed "keynote-breakout" that she then claimed to be, JM produced that section of the Program and she was NOT listed as the keynote-breakout there either....so she then says, well a Mr somebody 'called' me a keynoter....knowing that its the Program schedule that the attendees use and what counts. All these things keep adding up to her lack of honesty....for JM its like pulling teeth trying to get a straight answer to questions simply requiring a yes or no....again, the Judge should be stepping in and telling this witness to answer w/o JM having to ask the judge to do so

I'm offended that Nurmi characterized us as "so-called fans."

I am a 100% Fan of Juan Martinez, Nurmi. He's the man, and you're throwing a temper tantrum because you just can't out-lawyer him.

ITA, Liebchen!!! This goes to the heart of the matter. The DT certainly shouldn't be granted a mistrial based on the fact that JM is just a better lawyer.

And they, the DT, have subjected the jurors to unending twaddle, countless approaches, specious procrastinations, and numerous fingers up the old proboscis!

And our dear Mr. Martinez has without fail, taken a higher road.

I wonder what's wrong with her ears? They are bent at an odd angle, which can be caused by her glasses or she's wearing a wig and the cut-out portion isn't positioned properly or something. That is neither here nor there, but so odd-looking.

It's clear to me that over the course of the trial JA has been mimicking Wilma more and more, and that is an indication of her personality disorder. She behaves less like the defendant in a capitol murder case and more like Wilma's administrative assistant.

She (JW) is the twin that she has been searching for since her Mother is a twin. Thats why I believe she does everything in 2s except for gas cans. There is some sort of connection she feels she is lacking. Is it jealousy? :what:

Wasn't it weird how ALV just couldn't seem to grasp the idea that SHE was taking things out of context when she "evaluated" all those emails & texts? You know, when you lie to yourself, there's no one left to tell you the truth.

I think it would have been in the morning session, around the Einstein testimony...but I'm not sure.
