No female on death row in AZ has been dispatched in over 80 yrs. With the recent overturning of the sentence of one of the three there now, there's no realistic chance any of their sentences or Jodi's will be carried out imo. I bet many of the jurors know that too, and will view death row as a holding pen where she can safely be housed and denied the opportunity to harm others.

From your mouth to God's ears, Deb. My belief system is anti-death penalty, but I hope she gets the DP for the very reason you explain. She will suffer more on Death Row than she would in the regular prison population. I like the notion that she would be completely isolated for the entire time she's incarcerated.

No interviews, no special attention, just 4 walls and a cot and decades to rot.

Juan brought it up yesterday and his line of questioning had nothing to do with the contents, just the claims made by this woman named "Amy" which involved signing a copy. Combined with the revelations regarding "high" self-esteem and her comparing herself to Einstein, Juan was showing how pathetic and narcissistic Jodi is. Surely, some on the jury had flashbacks of her, "No jury will ever convict me" proclamation.

Part of her fateful trip was supposed to include a visit with a friend in southern CA who had a gallery and said he'd hang her stuff between the Monet and VanGogh IIRC. I forget which masters exactly but you get my drift. No delusions of grandeur there!

This manifesto seems to be the latest DT problem causing quite a stir.
According to HP, the complied with FOIA requests are preventing the DT from dong their job.
Apparantly the County Attorney's Office, County Attorney Bill Montgomery decides what info can be released in FOIA requests, but HP has been cut off until further notice and the DT is blaming JUAN for releasing them.
The State is seeking guidance from the Court on the nature and degree to which future public records requests could or should be fulfilled for the duration of the trial.

So, I assume the public and press will not be seeing any more new photos, writings, or interview footage in the near future regarding the sinking of the SS ARIAS.
Time for another cup of coffee.

Holy @#$. That account was created on May 29th 2008. A day after the stolen 25 auto. That account wasn't made for any innocent purpose. It was part of her coverup -- and the video posted on June 12th was to show detectives that she was a "good friend" of Travis and that she wouldn't kill him. Similar to her fake journal entry on June 10th where she feigned ignorance of his murder and then spent several pages putting him on a pedestal. Ditto for that fake email to dead Travis. This account, which contains part of her coverup attempt, is even more incriminating because it's creation predates the murder, the very day after the stolen gun (that she used to murder Travis six days later).

So much scheming and planning by this evil narcissist. Jodi MUST go down in flames!

This should have been brought up at trial, or perhaps it will be as part of rebuttal?

Did anyone else notice yesterday when Nurmi was craning his neck toward the jury, then whispered to Wilmott who then craned her neck and then asked to approach? Then when they got to the stand, Nurmi had his neck in some weird contortion while talking to the judge like he didn't want the jury to see what he was saying and then the judge looked at the jury? Anyone??

I asked yesterday but never got a response. :blushing:

I don't know about states, but my husband was an FOIA officer for the feds. He was required by law to provide documents within 10 days, which was laughable, so he was always sending out notices that there would be a (lengthy) delay. That could be at least part of what's going on here.

IMO, I think Juan did a great job of showing ALV's bias toward Jodi right from the get go with this.

He proved she came into this case and within the first few minutes of meeting with her, she is apoligizing that she had to read her journal entries, and ALV even admitted on the stand that she saw her as her own daughter on the stand and felt she had to apologize as if she was reading her own daughter's journal entries.

Doesn't having a daughter usually require a man to be in the picture. With someone with so much man-hatred in her, Im surprised she used her own daughter reference. Oh yeah, forgot she may think of men as just a sperm donor and maybe she could get a daughter from a sperm bank.

This ALV is not this stupid. She is purposely twisting her testimony based on a known liar, and IMO she is lying right along with Jodi. They are both evil IMO.

It appears that ALV is a paid “expert” with average intelligence and who touts a certain gimmick allowing her to comment about “abuse”. ALV, much like tarot card reader, can divine “abuse” in every nook and cranny.
Her methodology is vague. She refers to the totality of the written record and to context. Somehow she thinks that her “expertise” plus reading text messages grant her the ability to ascertain what is in the minds of the participants.

As JM points out ALV has NO method. Her assessment is purely subjective and not reproducible. Like Samuels ALV is also needlessly combative with the prosecution because her opinion is not afforded privilege or esteem. ALV has NOT been adequately prepared and she violates witness decorum on the stand.

It is alarming that this “expert” did NOT provide a written report. This absence allows ALV to say anything she wants at trial. Her reasoning and logic used in arriving at “conclusions” are lacking. ALV can also change her “opinion” on the fly because she cannot be pinned down by a written record.
Additionally ALV does not behave as an independent expert but rather a paid partisan. She is like Samuels in that she is rooting for the Arias bench.

I watched the rehash of yesterday and Thursday afternoon in TruTV this morning and had a horrible realization -- when JM was questioning ALV about the Snow White speech, she saida couple of times that the jury would benefit from watching the entire speech on YouTube. JW is SO gonna make that poor jury sit through the long version of that speech on re-direct isn't she? :facepalm: Everyone else probably realized that possibility during the live testimony but I'm slow (no Einstein here!) and it just snuck up and surprised me this morning. :banghead:
