In fact, he needs to call a lot of people to undo the damage done to Travis's character and trash Jodi's. Starting with Deanna.

I like the question the jury asked about her grandparents and the gun theft.

Think the jurors are connecting the dots. I'm just worried that this trial will never end because the defence recrossing forever.

I didn't realize until today that his "talk" on the phone sex recording said something about porking or corking a little girl. Imo, that's just disgusting regardless of which word was used. The fact that Jodi spoke with him after that is just mind boggling to me. She clearly has a mental illness (not one that justifies murder) and the rest of my thoughts on the subject violate the TOS. ewww!

Dr Drew was supposedly. But there are rumors that he was flooded with concerned viewers that Nurmi might ask for a mistrial if privileged communication between the killer and her lawyers was revealed on TV. And I think that is correct.

Fortunately, all this jury needs is some plain old common sense to reach a verdict. For example: If I was going after someone (and I was wet and naked) because they dropped my camera, and that person had a gun and shot me in the head, I would be trying to get to a phone to get help or running to a mirror to check my injury, or grabbing a towel to stop the bleeding. It would never occur to me to continue to chase someone who had a gun and teach them a lesson for dropping my ding dong camera.

Communication between a defendant and her attorney is privileged info. I think putting it on national tv would be illegal.

Jodi's lying started at least as far back as age 17 when she went behind Bobby J's back and read his emails. She became very practiced at that type of deceit, and had no qualms about crossing that threshold...that is criminal behavior and it would appear that such trespassing became part of who she was...ironic, considering she was so private and guarded about allowing her parents a peek into her life. She may have had alot more to hide that she is being "credited" with.

I don't want to hear about the big picture anymore. I want to hear about the day she nearly cut off an innocent man's head and dragged him back to the shower full of stab wounds then shot him in the face.

You can save the stories about when she was three and she found out there was no Santa Claus, and when she was 8 and her mom and dad wouldn't take her to Disneyland (because they said it was closed like my mom and dad used to have say when I asked to go for the 29th time on any given Saturday morning)

Travis took her to Disneyland and look at what happened to him.

Travis lied about sex. That's it. Many people do. Nothing sinister. Jodi, however, lied about murder -- wrote fake journal entries where she feigned ignorance on TA's death, deceived law enforcement in two interviews, lied to the nation on 48 hours while shedding crocodile tears as she recounted her daring escape from the intruders. And AVL calls that "not lying", just being afraid. She's disgusting and she deserves ALL THAT STRESS.

She definitely exhibited stalker-like behavior with previous boyfriends, and crossed boundaries, but what drove her to slaughter Travis Alexander to the extent that she did? What was different about this relationship compared to her previous BF's? I can't quite wrap my mind around that question. Psychopath? Sociopath? Maybe so, but why did it manifest itself when it did?

Princess I wonder the same. 2 of my posts below are my lame attempt at trying to find a WHY, but we really will never know.
Travis' only mistake, except meeting her, was that he didn't tell her NO and stick to it. God forbid if he was so kind as to feed her, help her PPL wise, give her a place to sleep when she needed one and in his own way, love her. Travis was paid back with rage, bullets and stabs. ...No good deed goes unpunished. I hate her so much.

Travis was HER perfect storm. None of us is ever going to know exactly why JA was so obsessed but for starters... HE was successful, smart, handsome, religious and everybody liked him. SHE was not successful, thought she was smart, was pretty on the outside but so ugly on the inside and used religion for gain, as in gain Travis. God, Travis never saw her coming and when he actually did see the real her it was too damn late. She is Pure Evil.

BBM - She planned and carried out this horrific crime (murder) because she could not stand the thought that she had lost control of Travis. IMO, she figured out that Travis had full understanding of HER and figured out that she was indeed EVIL and a psychopath. This was not part of her plan - I think she taped the sex call as a set-up to blackmail him in a way to force him to keep her around.

From what I understand, Dr Drew was going to have lip readers on his show, to tell the audience, what Jodi was saying to JW during all of those gushy exchanges between them.

But communication between them is privileged. So he had to backpedal on that.

I agree and one last post before my own lala land....jaun nds to get the defense WI current psych testifyinf in the WI trial out there for rebuttal asap. He is an expert in terrorism, violence, insanity +much more he and will turn this trial on its ear. In a heartbeat!!

What I woukd like to kmow is if Jodi skinned the cat for her other two boyfriends prior to Travis.. They need to testify if she did!

Travis is being blamed for that too , that she did it for him cause he's a pedo...jenny brought the skinned cat today again! What I don't understand where the defense was trying to go with that issue. First she says he liked little boys, so why would she skin the cat to look like a little girl?? is he accused of liking little boys or lil girls by the defense?

Butting in with a possible answer to your question.

1) Her previous relationships ended when Jodi wanted to end them. For example, she met TA at a PPL convention, went home to her boyfriend of 4 years and informed him that they would no longer be sharing a bedroom or a life. Just like that!

2) I believe JA thought TA's circle (Mormons + PPL) were her ticket to a wealthy husband and the beautiful life. Just compare the pics of the cramped room she was living in at her grandparents' home to TA's house, and the difference is immediately obvious.

BUT Travis started pulling away (he apparently went to his bishop, confessed about the sex, and was trying to clean up his act). It wasn't Jodi's idea, it was Travis'. Travis was only a year away from losing access to his main marriageable Mormon dating pool being, as he would be reassigned from a "singles" ward to a "family" ward when he hit 31. (All this is my just my understanding; if someone has better info, please correct me!)

He needed to get Jodi out of his life, and out of his social circle too. He was a PPL salesman and a Mormon. His reputation in his community was his world. By threatening Jodi's access to the (comparatively) wealthy circles he'd introduced her to, he made her feel like he was threatening HER. That was just not acceptable in Jodi-world, and I believe he died for it. She'd already lined up Travis' replacement in Ryan, which her normal pattern. She always kept the next "love" interest in the wings. It wasn't losing Travis that made her homicidal, it was the prospect of losing access to all that he had introduced her to.

Jodi IMO taped that phone sex and threatened to out TA if he revealed her true behavior to his buddies in PPL, etc. I don't believe TA was aware that the call was being taped! In fact, according to Jodi, they always erased any sexual pictures right after taking them. We know TA had an active sex/fantasy sex life, yet no *advertiser censored* of any kind was found on his computer. Why on earth would he agree to Jodi taping him? He wouldn't.

Sorry if my post rambled a bit, just trying to get out the conclusion I've been coming to. Hope you can see what I was trying to say.
