Well said, Alyce! She did not give a real denial of the last question. She said "I would disagree that my evaluation was defective." Of course, you would disagree. Disagreeing is not denial - it is not, "My evaluation is not defective", as statement analysis would tell us.

Good for you, Alyce, have a nice day!

One of the things that bothers me MOST about ALV is that she is always saying "I'm trying to figure out where you are going with this, Mr Martinez".
Hello ALyce??? Anyone home???
It is not your JOB to figure out where he is going with it!
You would only be concerned about where he is going with it if you are trying to base your answers on that.
IF YOU TELL THE TRUTH IT DOESN"T MATTER WHERE HE IS GOING WITH IT!!!!

Page one of this thread I stated abuse isn't about anger, but abusers use anger to intimidate victims to establish and maintain control.

So many of Travis' actions are either inconsistent with an abuser or even a controlling person its laughable (and honestly dangerously scary in reality) that LaViolette can amass he is an abuser from his written exchanges alone. How much control do you think an abuser would really have from a thousand mile distance?

Uh huh. Exactly. And that's why if Travis were, he'd likely have asked Jodi to move in with him in Mesa, perhaps even have proposed, within a couple of months. When she left Mesa, he very likely would have gone ballistic, at least calling her many, many times every day - finding any way he possibly could of 'checking' up on her. (5 years after I divorced my abuser, he conned his own mother into printing and mailing him a picture of my house in England to him in prison, with a sob story of how he didn't even know where 'his' kids were living.)

That's part of the pattern of an abuser. And it, in this case, is absent on Travis' part.

[OUOTE=kayice;9220559]That JC just said he didn't look ill, so now I don't know. Sisters upset, doesn't look good, that jury specialist for DT in their yesterday.
Wonder if the Judge told the jury to expect the trial to go way further into May or June even? That would make me "sick".[/QUOTE]

Shes lying. KCL said he's had a nasty cough.

JW to JA.....Do you happen to have a 4th story?

Does anyone know how many lies must one tell before it can be considered a pattern?

Since that is not a Yes or No question.....I will have to go around the bush as many times as I need to- to try and make you forget what I talked about :seeya: ...............................oh you asked about a pattern :blushing:

The judge didn't say #11 was excused because of his illness. It could be a serious illness in his family that he has to take care of.

Ignore the TH's. :fence:

Jc doesn't always get it right?

I think the juror is truly ill. When 5 was excuse the judge did not give a reason and told the jury not to speculate.

Right, and didn't she say 'as you know Juror #11 is ill'?

Exactly.

The judge would not have said he was excused due to illness if that wasn't the case. She could've not given a reason, like with juror 5, so I have no doubt it was due to illness. A person doesn't have to look sick to actually be sick!

For all we know he had a dr's appt and they found something that will need multiple follow-up's etc. and it was going to prevent him from being there. Who knows, but I hope he's ok!

WOW! Looks like Nurmi is up there really fighting for something...

And Judge had to say "OK...now wait a minute, cool it!" LOL!!
He's probably asking for another mistrial, OR prosecutorial misconduct. Same ol, same ol.

Does anyone know how many lies must one tell before it can be considered a pattern?

It depends, does anyone else know you are lying, and is it a male or female, and what have they recently been through, and is this a hypothetical, cause if so, you are asking me to make a lot of assumptions and I don't have my notes to give you the exact answer...

I know it's been said: but it really is something how an "expert" witness is paid $300 per hour, and jurors receive $12 per day.

Ms. Laviolette,

You can choose from this pajama set....or a new identity via witness protection as your lovely parting gift. Which would you like?:seeya:
