Ok, I have to be fair, <ducks incoming spears>:truce: JW scored one point this morning re: Mormon conversion. Dr. D didn't know about missionary pressure. Still, JA's personality allowed a very quick conversion. Those with a strong sense of self might have contemplated a bit more.

Ok so, where we are at with this witness thus far:

State = more than sufficient evidence of BPD
Defense = -1 data point for inappropriate attachment

I have no idea which is the case as I was not there. But I can tell you as a person in AA that before recovery, I was always "just tipsy", never "drunk" LOL!! Not saying she's either, just saying people *rarely* are forthcoming about their true consumption. Besides, once you're to the point of being tipsy, there is no real mental judgement capable of discerning between tipsy and drunk. It's an oxymoron. You would only know based on how others reported your behavior. Self-assessment, at the point of being tipsy, is futile.

The additional paragraphs could easily be tied to other symptoms of BPD including the abandonment issue and even the one where you idolize the person one day and despise them the next--pattern of unstable and intense interpersonal relationships characterized by alternating between extremes of idealization and devaluation.

They way JW is asking the questions about the signs and symptoms makes it seem she sees them as a zero sum game.

JW: "But she wrote about being happy the next day, didn't she? And you chose to only look at the suicidal writing?"
JW: "And in this email, she talks about outbursts of anger; kicking holes in walls, breaking down doors, shattering windows. Right?"
DD: "That's correct."
JW: "But she also goes on to say that just thinking about Travis makes her happy, isn't that right?"
DD: "Yes."
JW: "But you chose to only include the part about her anger in your evaluation?"

It is from today, aim. HLN doesn't keep up with the live streams people are watching online. HLN will "pause" the action, go to commercial, talk to guests, then hit "play" to resume it.

Rather than pick up live when they return, they pick up where they left off for the break. That helps people who can't watch online not to miss anything, but it puts the TV channel way, way behind the actual live stream.

And I hope to never hear again, "We promise you won't miss a single minute of live testimony..." Make it stop!! :banghead:
