Weeeellllll.....*ducking rotten fruit*

I'm pretty sure Willmott/Nurmi won't get a not guilty for THEIR client.

I'm still galled and appalled that Baez pulled it off, but he did. And there ya go.

I'll, of course, eat my words should this DT get the same verdict. And brimstone and sulphur will fill my nostrils as Beelzebub claims his Earthly throne. :(

Not gonna happen.

I think you misunderstood what I was asking. I wasn't accusing the defense team. I was wondering if a Jody supporter could have done it. Was anything else taken anything else from Dr. D's residence?

Dr. D. and the Phoenix PD know the answer to that question, but I do not.

Phoenix PD accident reports are available online, but copies of other Phoenix PD reports must be requested in person or by mail.

I have not seen a copy of the report.

Anyone else?

The bear/tiger question left me scratching my head. WTH? Made me wonder if notoriety was the reason for this ?, after all, I for one will remember it. Possible? Any thoughts?

I'm wondering if Samuels justified not redoing the test using a similar analogy and the juror picked upon it and we didn't. A sarcastic juror maybe?

I feel like it's end of term, or like the jury has gone back to deliberate, that witness has just sewn up so many loose ends for me :)

I think the last week has been absolutely amazing for the prosecution and I just know we will see justice in this case.

And regarding the camera - I think she put it in there on purpose, she deleted the images and threw it in the wash thinking it would break apart. But then I go and think "she took the other items with her", so I think she did it on accident.

So what I'm confused on is: She strikes him in the shower rendering him shocked, but he does try to fight back (that's how both their hands get cut). He would had to have put his hands up to block her going for his face, he turns his head and she stabs him in the neck. He has only one facial injury and it was post. I get confused on how he got to the hall, how the sheet got involved and why wasn't she injured more? This makes me think that the time stamps are off or delayed. Does anyone know? Sorry if this was asked before.

Quoting myself, guess I am getting desperate. Please someone answer my question or point me in the direction of the questions. PLEASE. No after dark or NG allowed at my house, bummer.

There were very few questions. They will probably be on YOU-TUBE soon. Will that work for you ? I have not seen a transcribed list yet.

I think overall, it was a good day for the prosecution. One of the questions MIGHT have been a bit snarky, [ the tiger/bear Q.] but the others were sincere and relevant, imo. And she did a very good job answering them.

Maybe it WASN'T Jodi's jealousy of another woman with Travis.

Maybe she thought Travis needed to die because he knew the truth about her and threatened to tell that would be a complete determent to the new life she had planned for herself.

Jodi had written a whole new plan as a righteous, pure, virginal Mormon. She saw entering the sanctity of the Temple as the new goal. Travis was the roadblock.

I don't deny Jodi could have deep feelings for someone, but the end was always a thing NOT a person. For instance, according to Jodi's own testimony, the house with DB was not to create a life with him, but a stepping stone to becoming a real estate investment mogul of some kind flipping houses.

My hubby and I talked about that and that will be the number one most haunting unanswered question.

What had Jodi done that he told her he was going to expose her to her family and friends??? It had to be very serious for Travis to be that upset.

I really don't think JA has the ability to have deep feelings for anyone other than herself.

We will really never know what all she put him through.

IMO

You are in awe of this woman? THUD! Surely not.

Why are you in awe if I may ask? Many smaller females over the decades have heinously murdered males far larger than them. She sure doesn't corner the market. Some have even murdered them........removed their bodies from the home either burying them in the backyard or loading up their bodies and dumping them in another location.

None of those other women left photos of their murder though as it was happening from what I recall.

Men aren't bullet or knife proof........they can be mortally wounded just like anyone else. She did this obviously in an element of surprise. Travis never stood a chance whether this had been a male or female predator.

She sure doesn't leave me in awe of her. She is what nightmares are made of and one of the worst most evil remorseless defendants I've ever seen. She makes me literally ill.

IMO

BBM-
Awe can also mean fear, terror, dread. Like "Shock and Awe" circa 2003. :rocker:

Jodi left the camera behind because she ran out of time.

The roommates were due home and RB was expecting her.

I think she was taking a chance running it through the wash? Or maybe the jury thinks if she knew so much about cameras, why did she leave it behind as evidence?

I think she just plain forgot it after killing Travis, but then remembered it later and that's the reason she wanted to go back to the house (didn't she ask one of Travis's friends to take her back there after the murder?).

Maybe but with KN and JW the bar isn't very high.

They went into the negative zone for me with the disgusting slander against Travis. Based on LIES. They had other options and should have used them.

I think the DT in this case has found a new low.

re: Tiger/Bear

Maybe a juror is comparing Travis as a bear and Jodi as a tiger. :what:

There was no flight, but a fight?

Noun
A feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder: "they gazed in awe at the small mountain of diamonds".
Verb
Inspire with awe: "they were both awed by the vastness of the forest".
Synonyms
fear - reverence - dread - fright - funk - terror

I'd like to clarify! Lol.

I think I chose a word that is ambiguous. Everything you say is perfectly true, women are more than capable of gross atrocities and men are made of flesh and blood and capable of being harmed.

The awe that I refer to is the kind that, referring to the definition above, falls under "fear, dread, fright, terror".

I find it dreadful, frightening, and terrifying that this murder was accomplished successfully. Not perfectly, but a large part of her plan came together.

The ability to conceive, plot, plan, and take action terrifies and frightens me. These words express my feelings more accurately.

One of our wonderful sleuths pointed out, re the camera, that it was Travis' property. Maybe in her manic murderous state, JA thought, "If I steal it, they'll know there is evidence in there." I thought that was brilliant idea on the sleuth's - not Jodi's - part!

******************

Another quotable quote, seen today on TH show:

Jail Interviewer (detective?): "Do you want to put your family through a trial?"

Jodi Arias: "Can I do it all without a trial? Or does there have to be a trial?"

Ok, I'll try again. No one addressed my concern on HLN After Dark, how no matter the topic there are at least two NG. I do not watch HLN AD but change to the channel to see the results. It concerns me immensely as the female defense like to point/shout out "hung jury." It only takes one to hang a jury and over and over night after night there is never a unanimous verdict. What say you? moo

At first when it began it was all Guilty and I think HLN thought they should shake it up and not make it cut and dried every week.

Holly Hughes makes up the evidence she needs as she goes along and so do the other mock defense team. The jury has heard the real and true evidence and those sitting in the mock jury box do not....far from it.

So that silly show is not representative of the real jury.

IMO

Can anyone explain the question about the handwriting?? That went over my head.

And did anyone besides me love when JW put the journal entry from 1/24/08 on the big screen and showed us JA's beautiful handwriting a mere 2 days after mean ol' TA broke her finger?

This is :twocents::moo:
I don't think the tiger/bear question was snark.
I don't think it indicated that the juror thinks JA suffers from PTSD.
I saw it as a test of Dr.JD's impartiality and I think she failed.
From what I saw of the PSD test, the questions about symptoms were independent of the cause of trauma.
The question as I heard it, specifically referenced the PDS test.
Therefore, the results of the test - sp. a dx of PTSD - should not differ if causes differ.

DrJD very clearly demonstrated how Jodi's behavior was/is NOT in accordance with someone who suffers from PTSD. I see this as incontrovertible, frankly.

Flame away.

LOL. Really not falling into this. Amusing.
