I'm gonna miss this, not the trial per se, but having to get back to my life without my mom. This has been a welcome distraction. lease:

Yep, it's going to be hard for me too, the same reason. Maybe we can get distracted again on the Andrea Sneiderman trial? I am quite interested in that upcoming trial to be covered by HLN and surely it will be live streamed. I watched Andrea testify in her boyfriend's trial, Hemy Neuman, and she is quite the character that I will love to hate. She's waayyyy over the top in her mannerisms and the way she spoke so disrespectfully to the Prosecutor AND the defense attorney. She literally talked herself into getting banned from the courtroom and the courthouse in general... also into her arrest for suspicion in the plan to have Neuman kill her husband. It will be a good trial. :jail:

Its gonna sound kinda odd, but after today's testimony and the tearing down of all her lies, I started crying, because I knew all along Jodi was evil, but reality set in. She really planned, and carried out the brutal slaughtering of someone that she supposedly cared about. The world does contain pure evilness, with no soul. Scarey.... and they don't physically appear, on the outside, any different than the rest of us.

The psychologist or whomever testifying about Jodi's taste of mind AFTER the killing, if it's allowed, in my opinion, won't take anything away from the strong case JM has built for premedidation. The gas cans testimony ALONE sunk Jodi's ship.

Can anyone summarize for me what happened? I gather no surrebuttal and no court 'till next week, judge is moving things along. Did it go well today? Jodi was unhappy at the beginning.

It was a short day.

Judge announced the Jurors will get the case next Fri. I/2 day of court tomorrow. no court Fri., Mon or Tues. next week.

No hearing today for un known reasons. (that I know of)

A forensic phone expert testified to pics on JA's phone from June 3 disputing her change of hair color.

Det. Flores recently went back to Travis's house and measured the shelves. He demonstrated through pics that the shelves can be tipped and her claim of jumping up to get the gun wasn't doable.

it is a person's life at stake. and unlike arias, we're not going to take one so cruelly and without consideration. i think it's ok to allow another psychologist given the stakes.

We've already heard about PTSD and BWS so what's new they need another witness for? Maybe they want to get someone up there to say they had to be CRAZY TO EVER TAKE THIS CASE. :notgood:

why is she failing? this is a death penalty trial.
She has ruled with her brain and with verve. We may not get to see what is in camera but this woman seems to have it all signed, sealed and delivered.

Are you determining her alleged "failure" on what is broadcasted? I am just wondering. There are a lot of things in AZ that CANNOT be put on camera.

The Judge's obligation is to be a judge not to cater to the jury. The jury has been chosen, selected, and instructed. We can only hope this is over soon and they can discuss:twocents:

I think many of us are just soooo frustrated. This Trial started Jan 2, 2013. The State rested their case in chief in 9 days. Then the Defense started its case in chief and time stood still. JA was fascinating to watch but then it was RS, ALV and the Eye Guy. Not to be mean but JW made it hard to watch as she was schooled by Dr D and Nurmi...let's just say he is very very very slow.

We feel like Justice for Travis is on a slow boat to China and we wanna get off!!! Yes the Judge laid out what will occur in the next 10 days. I worry the boat is going to spring a leak and need to be towed to shore. I'm just tired of the waste of time, the 1.5 million the Jodi Show has cost Arizona but most of all the heartbreak the Family goes through day after awful day. It's Time. I have to believe God thinks so too.

That was pretty shocking, wasn't it? I'll bet money she never gets him to come on again.

And that's a shame because to me Bill Schaeffer is one of the few TH's, even in the CA days, that was level headed usually and didn't align himself with one side or the either. He would both compliment and criticize the prosecution and defense.

Yes.. may vary by type of attic. My S/O insisted on storing ALL Christmas stuff in attic in my South Carolina house. Every single thing with even the teeniest bit of plastic composition and ALL candles turned into a very gooey mess!

The jurors' questions were great. The gun issue is key here. No gun in Travis' house means no self-defense, no manslaughter, no second degree....

The question doesn't matter since Jodi said she stepped on the shelf to gain access to the top area.

Actually, even on the shelf, I don't think she could reach the nonexistent gun even if she was fully stretched out. I think that was the point.

However, that's just my take. I could be totally wrong. It happened one other time to me.

Just read the police report on the burglary at the Grandparent's home. The 25 caliber was loaded with a 7 round magazine of hollow point bullets. Wonder if she fired any test rounds before murdering Travis.

Very troubling to observe the interaction between JW and Jodi Arias. Gives me the creeps.

I wonder how many times JW has been to see JA in jail vs. the number of times KN has been? Is JW married? Maybe they are really are crushing on each other!

I expect JA to have the boundary issues she has... but I really am shocked at how JW conducts herself in a professional setting.

Absolutely! Something in Travis's tough background left him addicted sexually to Jodi. And with her borderline PD, she picked up on this attraction and focused on him and nothing else. It was his drug and even though he would try, threaten to quit..relapses happen! She was aware she was his booty call (dealer) and she made a house call, complete with the trusty bottle of KY, knowing he would "use" again, have his defenses down and she could kill him in his own shower.

He wasn't addicted, he simply enjoyed the free access to her body, and took full advantage.
