J: In respect of count two, it was pointed out that Taylor and Fresco contradicted each other...but state said no reason for them to lie

apparently she will rule on all charges at the end including the manslaughter charge

I don't have audio...
btw the photo in my opening post is a traditional South African pastry called Koeksisters.

now.. she says, Darren wasn't an effective witness... and was also a dishonest witness.. well ,well, well.

J: One may be tempted to think they were in fact talking about different incident...Fresco not impressive witnesss...in fact he was dishonest....

Oh dear...Fresco, order pizza tomorrow and sit at home a few days vs. going out

J: Mendacity...does not necessarily mean rest of witness evidence is tainted but caution necessary...

This is unbelievable - the accused murderer gets the benefit of the doubt re his honesty, Fresco doesn't it would seem.

J: Under cross, when he was taken to scene....was able to point it out only after Cpt von Art drove by it 4 times...Taylor was a former girlfriend of the accused.....clear...she was hurt in manner of way relationship had been ended...caution...

It seems you need to be The Pope in order for this Judge to consider your evidence valuable.

She talks about everybody's mendacity but she has no problem with OP's

Whatever happens today please refrain from bashing the judge or name calling. You may state why you disagree with her verdict or delineate how the evidence does not align with her decision.

"It was clear that Taylor was hurt by the way the relationship was terminated. It simply means that Taylor's evidence needs to be approached with caution."

Oh, no Judge Masipa...playing into stereotypes...

"Taylor's version has a ring of truth..."

But is it beyond reasonable doubt?

That state witesses contradicted each other. the evidence falls short of the evidence..not guilty...

Masipa..WTF

J: ...Taylor's version has ring of truth but...question whether state has proved case beyond reasonable doubt
