Re the three stooges above, I'm starting to think that OP may be safer IN prison and he may well think that too. There can't be too many VIP clubs in the SA cities they all hang out in and OP likes his nightclubs. I saw Mark Bachelor (on far right) interviewed on some doco ages ago about the 'break his legs' threat and he seemed like a hard man, but not stupid and not entirely without some saving graces.

Exactly. Maybe that's the message Nel wanted to send by the presence of these men in court.

I think there is a real risk that somebody will do him harm if he goes free. And elsewhere we're seeing how easily a killer can be hired in SA, and how cheaply.

Jared Mortimer – who could yet give evidence today – and Marc Batchelor are reportedly back in the court room, but sitting at the back now, away from the Pistorius family. Mikey Schultz is still outside court; he’s told reporters that he hasn’t been asked to leave and might return tomorrow.

Aimee Pistorius is also back in court, where the hearing is due to resume imminently.

If OP doesn't do jail time because of his disability, then every disabled inmate doing time for CH or less should lodge an appeal immediately. If jail is found to be unsuitable for OP because of his disability, then it's also not suitable for them.

Mikey Schulz being interviewed on Oscar Radio saying "they can look at the footage, I never threatened anyone" and I think saying he was directed towards the bench where Aimee was by a "cop" and he didn't even know she was in that bench.

Listening to Schultz interview.

He said there 'were two seats in the front row, then the Pistorius said to me, spoke to us like dogs, told us to get out - i didn't even know they were there at first... didn't notice. It's only the second time I've been to the court....they were glaring at me.... I wasn't asked to leave, but I'm not going back today. There's too much...(didn't hear).
