Multimedia SA ~ Oscar Pistorius in court - day 11

Photo Gallery:
Notice in some of the pics, OP has on his Jodi Arias' "glasses"
He is lying just as well. Makes it the glasses????????????

So history of eractic behaviour both with women and weapons
Fully aware of gun laws with regards intruders
Neighbours who heard screaming and arguing on the night of the incident
Bullet hole and damage to bedroom door
Blood splattered on bed and up the wall behind bed
First person he calls after smashing open the toilet door is a friend and not medical assistance.

Anyone still got any reasonable doubts?, maybe Botha cut himself in numerous places and jumped up and down on the bed spraying blood everywhere?.

GUILTY.

Nel: Why did you pick up the towel?

SR: Just to make sure...I didn't miss anything important.

Catching up on everything from last night and just want to clarify that I am understanding this correctly:

The white cell phone was found underneath the towel/bathmat that the gun was sitting on top of. And this white phone was in addition to the black phone (with the case that was off).

In conclusion, there were indeed 2 cell phones in that bathroom, one white and one black... both found in the location of the bathmat and gun. Am I correct?

TY Zwiebel & Trooper for transcribing the testimony!!!!

I was so engrossed in the photos that I couldn't move.

Blood spatter above the headboard on the left-hand side of the bed - nowhere near where OP would have had to carry Reeva to get her downstairs.

Blood spatter on the duvet & also inside the duvet after Van Staden uncrumpled it - again, nowhere near where OP would have had to carry Reeva to get her downstairs.

The bullet cartridge in the long hallway before you even get to the bathroom passageway - nowhere near where he says he was when he was shooting at the "intruder".

Can anyone say incriminating????

He could have walked over that direction to retrieve his phone to call Stander and Netcare.

He could have walked over that direction to retrieve his phone to call Stander and Netcare.

I phoned Johan Stander (“Stander”) who was involved in the administration of the estate and asked him to phone the ambulance. I phoned Netcare and asked for help.

I went downstairs to open the front door. I returned to the bathroom and picked Reeva up as I had been told not to wait for the paramedics, but to take her to hospital.

Nice try......;)

But the blood discovered on the duvet in front of the bed ? Did he go in that direction as well ?

Maybe he shakes his body like a dog and flung it everywhere ?

And of course, it is damaging to OP for it to seem he wanted to remove gunpowder evidence from his hands, because that would suggest the evidence was maybe not that Reeva was shot from behind a door.

I am wondering how close he was when the head shot that finished her was fired, I really am. This crime is looking nastier and nastier to me, as it goes on.

I dont think there is anything suspect about a man washing his hands that are covered with his girlfriend's blood. Think about it - the incident happened 3:15- ish, and ambulance didn't arrive until 3:42 and police didn't arrive until 4:50. I really cannot imagine anyone in that scenario standing around for that length of time with blood covering their hands.

I put it to you that there was no evidence to remove by washing his hands because he admitted shooting the gun and killing her.

I don't know - we'll have to wait and see if there is an explanation.

Well, in the interests of trying to be balanced......it could have been that he couldn't immediately find his phone and was running round the bedroom like a blue arsed fly trying to find it.....pulling the duvet off the bed, checking behind the watch box. If he was dripping in blood then this is possible. This would make sense.

Thing is, I don't doubt that most of the things that he says happened after the shooting did in fact happen - it's regarding what happened before where I really think OP and the truth part company.

Just another thought re: both phones in the bathroom.....maybe he grabbed Reeva's first but it had a pass code on it that he didn't know, so he dropped that and ran back for his?

I think this is consistent with him shooting the door in a fit of rage knowing she was behind it and then being overwhelmed with horror at what he'd done.

I'm inclined to agree that a lot of merit won't be placed on actions such as this from either prosecution or defence. It's easy to forget at times that this is a case whereby the accused is admitting that they used and fired the weapon. The washing of OP's hands, as well as the handling of the weapon by the ballistics expert without gloves, would be far more critical to the case if the accused was suggesting that he wasn't the shooter.

I thought Nel did a good and thorough job today with key evidence and witnesses.

I have not seen the testimony that every spot photographed has been confirmed as blood. Confirmed as Reeva's blood. Confirmed as deposited on the night in question.
Even if all that is confirmed, they are small "splashes" most likely off OP and not necessarily an indication of violence near the bed, certainly not any of the gunshot wounds which would have caused a LOT of mess wherever they occurred.

It's likewise consistent with an accident, having mistaken Reeva for an intruder

I agree. There is too little information at the moment to draw conclusions about it.

It does appear that whatever was going through OP's mind after the incident, there isn't much evidence to suggest that he was ever going to deny the shooting. If that was the case he's probably made the worse job ever of covering his tracks.

I'm inclined to agree that most actions after the shooting seem quite feasible (until the watch and safe incidents muddy the waters somewhat). Once some information/evidence is produced that forces OP to expand on his original story prior to the shooting things should become a lot clearer.

I'd be more inclined to say mistaken Reeva's noise as that of an intruder. This isn't a case whereby OP saw a figure and thought the figure of Reeva was an intruder. OP didn't see anybody, and that was the real mistake.

I thought Nel did a good and thorough job today with key evidence and witnesses.

I agree he presented some evidence that gives pause. The hole and damage to the bedroom door and the (possible) blood spots on wall behind bed and on the duvet. Things that need to be addressed by the defense.

But......... both lawyers are so slooooooooow!!! lol
