Roux havin exhibits put into evidence.. some photos, of footprints.. etc..

yes, I think Staadten is the photographer..
 
Roux is using time to make exhibits available. Col pic of police foorprint of door and five pics of fan/slippers, slip slops/gym bag/

He is calling them slops. Judge corrects him to sandals.
 
I looked up the spelling of the name - it's van Staden. Just so we don't have to guess about how to spell it. :)

Nel says if we want to rely on photo Mr Roux will have to prove it. 'He's saying it's from the state, he'll have to prove it'.

Lol, they forgot to swear witness in.
 
Van Staden has 8 years exp as a photographer in local criminal records centre.
 
He was stand by photographer Feb 14th.

On call for any crime scenes that need to be photographed.
 
Van S: I was contacted at 14 Feb 20.13. I arrived 04.15? or 04.50.

on the evening of feb 13.

were you on duty. yes. the standby photo man

he is on standby for any reason for photos..

were you at the scene.? Yes..

were you at the other scene, the previous crime scene ?? yes

he was contacted to attend THIS scene from the OTHER scene..

14th feb.. arrived at 4.50am..did I get tht right??

a canon camera, 550 B..

standard lens.. 535..

28 x 35.

what happened when you arrived at the scene?
 
he met up with Botha at the scene.

Botha took him through the scene.
 
Then he asked Botha to clear the scene of 'all the people'

Then 'I went inside the garage'.

Then started taking photos.

Photos stored on SD card.
 
On metadata on each photo is date/time of photo. As well as the photo number.

Numbers are consequetive. He did not delete any. 'Nein'.
 
After, photos handed to admin clerk for verification and to load it up on computer, opens up a specific file for that photo and the photographer receives a file copy 'A working copy'.

A master copy also made, kept by admin clerk.
 
W.O Botha told me to photograph the scene , all the people, etc..

he went inside the garage..

the photographs taken are stored on a thing that records the meter data

the date, the time, the angle..

each photo gets a number, each number follows on
did you delete any pics??

the pics are sealed inside an envelope, is then handed over to the admin clerk for verification.. the clerk then loads up on the computer.. to open up a specific file of photos.

Van Stad receives a copy of all this. a working copy.. is a master copy made>> yes. who keeps that?? the admin clerk.

is there an archive?? yes..

you went into the garage.. you have your album with you.. to prep for your evidence.. you checked with your data etc.. yes. metre data..

what happened when you went into the garage??
 
He specifically checked metadata times for photos in garage.

there was just me, and the accused inside the garage.. I told him what procedure I would conduct..

that I would take pictures,, I then asked W.O. Botha. whoa.. twho asked Col Van Rensburg..


and the series of Pics began..
